Yes, you will get the platinum trophy if you follow this video 😊 But it's just a normal playthrough not a well planned out guide. For the trophy where you are only allowed to use your claws and dark gifts I would advice to get it in chapter 9-11 because weapons are quite useless in this chapters and you will kill most enemies with your dark gifts anyway.
I meant 9 to 11 😉 But you only need 2 levels with claws/dark gifts only. Just make sure you never pick up a weapon and someone had a problem getting this trophy because he thinks he used a weapon chest even so he didn't have a weapon. So it's adviced to just don't touch weapon chests when going for this trophy. 😊
I actually think Blood Omen 2 is a bit better than the Soul Reaver games. Kain's generals Faustus, Markus, Sebastian and Magnus were better and stronger as boss fights than Raziel's brothers Melchiah Zephon Rahab Dumah. Raziel's brothers were easy to defeat and Kain's generals were harder to defeat. 👍👍
I played it on PS5 pro and it runs really bad! Constant stuttering, frame drops, crashes and audio is missing in some sequences and asynchronous (like in the PS2 version) It also looks and runs the same as the PS4 version, no upscaling whatsoever... It's compareable to all the other PS2 games running in the emulator and not natively ported to PS5. It's probably only something for real hardcore Legacy of Kain fans.
Definitely the weakest entry in the Legacy of Kain series for me, the issues on the original PS2 release certainly didn't help and this emulated version would become almost unplayable the further I progressed with the more game breaking stuff starting to show after the Eternal Prison.
@markusaurelius777 I guess when they happen, it can vary because things were relatively fine during the earlier parts, though it does seem that issues with the final boss seem to happen quite a lot. Had to redo a portion of the last area because the game kept crashing when finishing the final boss's first phase.
I had a few crashes while playing the PS5 version but none on PS4 and I could play through the original PS2 version with and without crashes on PCSX2 😂 I really have no idea what triggers this crashes but all of them happened in the last chapter. Audio asynchron is probably hardcoded in the NTSC release so it's better to play the PAL version (very rare that PAL is better 😂)
@@Katanalein The last chapter was definitely where the majority of them occurred for me, though I think using save states might have been the cause of some of the issues for me because when I redid the last part of the final chapter everything worked perfectly even the audio during cutscenes with the final boss was fine and the fight itself even had the music playing and I didn't use a single save state.

The final bossfight kept crashing on me so after 10 times i thought screw it, i watch the ending on RUclips.
I actually quite like BO2 but I have to say every time the Soul Reaver is onscreen it makes me sad - poor Raziel in there going increasingly deranged.

Also the world in Blood Omen 2 is more alive than both SRs.
It has the boss fights throughout that SR2 was sorely lacking for sure.

I'm about 4 hours in without any glitches. PS4 version.
