Blood Omen 2 may have been the odder of the story installments in the LoK series but I still think it's incredibly fun to play. The environments and more focus on action really just keeps me playing it a decade later.
You know i was stuck on Sebastian fucking forever...and somehow the game 'glitched' or something when i was playing to where Sebastian was just standing in one place...and so long as i didn't move neither would he *also* he just so happened to be standing by the wall where that gas stuff kept hitting him. Although it took awhile it damaged his health each time it came around, and eventually he died lol...that's the way i beat Sebastian
Among the best games, I have ever played in the old time. It must be remastered and I don't understand why they do not do it. Crystal Dynamics is missed dearly. Correct me if I am wrong but, from the start of the game, I could say this is not your first run as you had previous saves. For that, I would have expected better gameplay but this also is not an easy game and this does not at all reduce the value of this video, and also you finished the game. Im looking to create a Gothic style game in unity - with gothic architecture and vampire stealth/roof-top hunting - I always wanted one after playing BO2 - Never got it - so trying to make it myself.

I wish more youtubers knew how to make their let's play video game content on yt be on a single video only. It would make it easier for me to add the videos to my watched playlist and my walkthrough playlist of video games I like. I could keep 1 video in my watched history instead of having to save a playlist to watch later.
IMO this game has a better storyline than all the GOW franchise. GOW Excels in violence, landscspes, vastness, huge powerful enemies, but the story is rather weak. This, though, great darkness and mystery. The immersion doesn't depend on graphics, but in the story, which is like reading a book.
I watched almost the full video, this was my absolute favorite game from my childhood.....good memories BO II is still a funtastic, complex game with 1 of the greatest background story from a Vampire Game. Thx to let us see this Epic game in HighDefinition.

Good entry in the series but clearly one of the weakest. That last boss fight is so basic. Might as well be a target dummy. "I have mastered the Reaver!" Bing ding ding. Swing for justice! Kain could have fought him right off the bat. Uma was just smoking crack. Of course, we just needed to stretch things out a bit and make the final boss seem serious. =oP In spite of the glaring issues, I do appreciate BO2 for filling in the gaps in the main Soul Reaver storyline. This is a great backdrop for LoK: Defiance.
I played it recently, amazing atmosphere, but gameplay get a bit repetitive and the game's too long. Still, solid 7/10 title, and Kain is badass character.
i found this sequel strange, even 200years after blood omen 1 , kain yannos & vorador is younger and he cannot use the wolf or bat transformation, also the design of costume is between world of warcraft & assassin creed,you'll discover
My favorite level is the Industrial Quarter. That's the one where they drop the 'act quickly and keep a low profile' bullshit and allow Kain to explode his way through.

i cant understand why people think that defiance was better than this game.... Defiance was the biggest garbage and biggest disappointment iv ever played... The camera thing was shiiit, the combat was ok i guess but i prefer the compat system of this game much better... The lore... Well i didnt manage to play defiance whole game, i uninstall the first 20 mins in the game i couldnt bare the camera shifting all the time when you "change" locations it was annoying as fuck and not worth my time... This game however was 10 times better than defiance and people seem to prefer defiance over this and i really can't understand why.... Its a shame that they didnt make anymore games for this franchise.
I think this is the exact gameplay video from world of longplays. Either way whoever played this missed using many moves such as long range jump attack and didn't really explore the game properly for an audience. A shame.
well...... too bad you didn't manage to max out your lore. it's possible, but tedious. not missing any enemies, killing absolutely all civilians you can, keeping your HP above 90% the entire game (you get lore if your HP is full every time hunger hits, about as much as a drinking from a civilian) does not make for the best viewing.
Couldn’t believe you actually killed kain by those demons in the canyon and by those spiders and the guards in eternal prison or the sarafan. Don’t you even know when you ought to suck blood when there are guards or anything else around? Also do you know the skill of dodging attacks in the game? I’ve legit never seen you using it and you literally got killed because of that! You legit need some skill improvement mate.
The game is 11hrs and. You are so slow it's not funny. By the time I get to the end I'll be dead. I've played the game more than once and right now, I'm dead bored. You even killed kain.

Loved the game for it's puzzles, watching this simplistic fighting, I was like no way it was that easy, was it? Then I again I played it really young.
Great graphics. Even if it did have a legendary ending, this series I wish, would go on forever.

There must be a hidden closet in Sanctuary. Most of the cutscenes there are followed up with Kain wearing different clothing.

This game is way older than assassins creed and even older than world of warcraft. So if anything, wow and ac got their costume ideas from this game

Controlls and camera management are so terrible in this game, that the one responsible for it deserves a beating.
