Mac Screen shots are Option, Shift and 3. Option Shift and 4, plus the spacebar and a mouse click, does a window.
As I recall, you can make a pdf on Windows by triggering the Print menu: by hitting CTRL and P.

Oh i recognize this from my previous job. Customer support job, i was the only one with a PC just the way i like it. My boss upgraded everyone to mac but i told him i cant do my job on a damn mac so i remained on the PC. Until the PC broke and i had to use the mac for a few days. Literally apologized to the customer on the phone and told him its taking a while to find his order in the system because im on a mac and nothing is working like it should. And the customer on the line said: "i feel you bro".

honestly I agree but at the same time there really isn't anyone that I know that has used both and still said they preferred Final Cut over Premiere after they got used to using both, its just so much better especially with how easy it is to swap between Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects

I believe he has mentioned that besides linux having a steeper learning curve for someone who has not spent a great deal of time with it but windows also just has better intergration with his windows PCs through basic built in file managers aswell as having support for all the software he wants to run on them. I am sure linux could do everything he wants it to do, but it would just take too much time and effort on his part to find up to date software and utlities, keep everything stable and to get working in the first place. He can also fall back on basic windows file managers and well supported small buisness suites that are fairly unlikely to crash when he needs it most.
If you use Linux servers everyday its cake, I guess Linus would win that one :p

They absolutely are, but I think most avid PC users and avid Mac users are gonna fit a lot of the stereotypes because that's how market shares work. I've been into PC's for awhile now and ever since then I can't stand when things are over simplified at the expense of usability.

They are. Personally, I’m a simple guy and I mostly do creative projects. So I use a Mac for most of my work, but I do see benefits of windows so I have a boot camp partition aswell

Same. It is far faster to just copy the entire screen then crop the image.
I do both. Snipping tool is faster than cropping an image in paint but if I want to do modifications, beyond the stupid highlight ability, I hit printscreen and use Paint Shop Pro (for some reason it still works in W10).
I used to do that ALL the time, now I use the snipping tool, but either works.

I personally believe doing most basic things in Ubuntu are simpler to do (such as making a document assuming you have libre office preinstalled) would be simpler than using a Mac as it's so similar in work flow to windows for basic tasks.

Mac would win because taking a screenshot on a Mac takes half a second, and uninstalling an app 2 at most. On windows you have to start En click around in that screenshot app, and uninstalling usually requires you clicking through a wizard

Its one button to screen shot on windows. Its called print screen or Prtsc. And you can uninstall by rick clicking and click uninstall it might ask you to confirm but thats it
Actually, to screenshot on Windows 10 use just press Window key+ PrtScr. To uninstall programs on windows you just right click on the program and click uninstall ( usually this will uninstall the program). Doesn't look like you know how to "really" use windows.

Honestly desktop operating systems have about the same openness. Like I would say Windows has a slight edge over Mac in this field but at least on mac you don't have W I N D O W S U P D A TE. For my personal workflow, I actually just use Ubuntu 19.04 (Gnome)

I believe this "print fo file" option only allows to save the PostScript file (.ps) instead of sending it to the printer. It wouldn't help you generate a PDF unless you have a .ps to .pdf converter (like PDFCreator)
Nah, there should be a separate printer called "Microsoft Print to PDF", that is installed by default, but looks like LTT team uninstalled or borked it by mistake, though it's pretty easy fix - just open Windows' "turn features on or off" and in the list should be an option for PDF printer. "Print to file" option generates a PRN file specific to the driver and printer selected, AFAIK mostly for diagnostic purposes, not a PDF.
In the old days, creating PDFs in Windows was a major pain due to Microsoft’s reluctance to give native support to formats they didn’t create.

As a MacBook Pro user, I’d probably kill somebody before using a Magic Mouse. Not giving up on my Logitech MX 2S anytime soon.
@mr red yeah I jump from trackpad to mouse and the other way around, I mostly use the trackpad for gestures and when I'm typing (to not raise my hands), and the mouse for precise movements.
MacBook Pro user with Thunderbolt Display. I'll never use a Magic Mouse. Magic Trackpad though.... I don't think I'll ever need a mouse tbh, haven't used one since the Magic Trackpad came out.
@simp it's not only about its overall size, but the shape and height, it's to flat to thin, and it's made out of glass-glossy plastic so it slips from your hand if your grip is not exactly right. I dunno, I wouldn't say I have big hands but still hate it.
