    My son was diagnosed with thalassemia today, He is a very energetic 8 yr old boy and his appetite is very good as well. I can say that imI did not observed all the symptoms you mentioned about having thalassemia except that his nose is bleeding almost 3 times a month.

    This isn't so bad as we age we look younger because less oxygen stunts the age process 😊 that's why at 60 everyone says I look way younger .

    I’m almost 18 and have beta thalassemia and aside from a really rough childhood where I almost died from illness multiple times and being diagnosed as iron deficient every time I get blood drawn I’m pretty normal. I did have that delayed puberty thing but for some reason I started growing before I hit puberty and kept growing throughout puberty now I’m 6’2 and my parents are only 5’9 and 5’3. I don’t know if that’s normal but I think it’s pretty interesting

      *TMKOC* (Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah) is known for its humor and light-hearted take on various issues, but thalassemia is a serious genetic blood disorder. It involves the body making an abnormal form of hemoglobin, leading to anemia and requiring regular blood transfusions and medical care. While humor can lighten many situations, it’s important to approach health conditions like thalassemia with the appropriate sensitivity and understanding. If you or someone you know is affected by thalassemia, seeking support and education on managing the condition is essential.

    I as well was born with thalassemia,currently dealing with light headedness,dizziness,loss of appetite,headache. I'm wondering if the side effect from low iron is causing all these?

    How thalasemmia bita occurs

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  Месяц назад

      Thalassemia beta occurs due to mutations in the HBB gene, leading to reduced or absent production of beta-globin chains, causing anemia and related complications. ❤️

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  20 дней назад

      Popatlal, a character from *Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah*, is often portrayed in humorous situations, but thalassemia is a serious and lifelong condition. It requires ongoing medical care and support to manage symptoms and complications. If you're drawing a connection to the character, it might be a way to express concern or empathy. Remember, dealing with a condition like thalassemia can be challenging, but with the right treatment and support, many people lead fulfilling lives.
