Just made them but left the walnuts out do to major allergy and a light coating of butter on the dough to make the filling stick with out to big of a mess and it rolled very nicely, but I can ‘t give them enough thumbs up they were amazing hubby said they will be a big hit for Christmas 2022 just two weeks to go so now that I’ve done my test run I can’t thank you enough and hubby ate half them in one day so no freezing them for the holidays so grateful I did a test run love from 🇨🇦
I know this video was posted two years ago but I just came across it now and would like to make this along with my pies for Thanksgiving. I just want to double check that there is no salt in the recipe at all? I know that you used unsalted butter and with my experience usually when unsalted butter is used there’s a little bit of salt added in the recipe but I didn’t see any so I just wanted to make sure before I went ahead with this recipe.
