    Don’t be afraid to throw bigger soft plastics on a drop shot. 5 in fluke is a killer bait for it

      I’ve been curious about this. I started throwing a drop shot a lot last season and I stuck mostly to smaller baits. But I felt like up sizing could get some bigger bites while still being finesse

    Great tournament again!!hard to put that drop shot down when your catching so many fish but im with some other guys on here posting that mabe knowing a limit of decent fish was never in question,and since you got a better chance at a big fish in the morning maybe commit an hour to some bigger baits.Curious if you heard how those top four guys got their 19" plus fish?either way super fun and setting up for that return to Classic👊

    Congrats on another solid tournament. Have to say that instead of a big move going to a bigger power presentation may have been better. Chatterbait, texas rigged craw, or spinnerbait to help get past those little buck bass and into a big girl tucked to the bottom.

    Greg, So after watching your videos, I realize that I carry way too many baits, plastic, jigs, spinners and such. I am in bait overload. Can you please ( I know you post what baits you are using) do a video on the amount you carry on the yak at one time? I carry 6/3700's of hard baits and 2 bags (1 for plastic worms and 1 for creature baits) pf plastics..But, I only use very little of it..Thanks

    Mr. Gregg . . . CONGRATs to you and Mr. Alden on the great finishes. Another fishing vid very much enjoyed! On your fifth keeper, I found myself yelling at the monitor "Measure that fish" 😬 . . . I thought you were going to eyeball it under 12" and release it w/out measuring it. Glad you measured it, it was a keeper, and glad you were able to cull it 🤙. Great "tease" at the end and looking forward to your series of "out of state" journeys; hoping your BASS Brothers will be able to partake.

    Had a house on Tulloch for many years. Caught my smallmouth PB there…..7.4
    Lake receives all or most of its water from the bottom of Melones. Makes for a great trout lake.

    Nice job. How many bass fry did you see? With the water rising that fast a frog in the slop and would have allowed you a better shot at big bass and could cover much more water. Hindsight is always 20/20.

    7 months late to the party lol but once the boats get moving on that lake it gets super tough and if your looking for a big bite you got 2 options....get one early on conventional or if its post 11am pick up a wake bait and hit the docks with a purpose
