- Hurricane Helene hits Fort Myers Beach with storm surge. In this video you'll see the Times Square area of Fort Myers Beach, Old San Carlose Blvd, and Salty Sam's Marina on San Carlose Island. This was shot between 8:30am and 11:30am on Thursday, 9/26/24. This is the day Hurricane Helene moves north north east in the Gulf of Mexico.
Every storm has its own personality. Can’t ever predict what’s going to happen. Lived in FL all my life and it’s been weird how little rain we got. Thankful, but weird.
HAARP and Doplar radar and cell towers. Heat up the ionisphere....steers and intensifies the storms. He who controls the weather controls the world. DARPA and the Military Industrial Complex. They are NOT on our side.
Same here I’m in Gulfbreeze and hardly any rain. Thankful to have missed it this time. 🙏❤️
This one was moving extremely quick.
Thank you for sharing. My dad and Step mom lost everything during the last Hurricane a few years ago! Nothing worse than seeing two 83 yr olds, wet, cold and homeless. They ended up driving back to Wisconsin. They are both deceased now. They lived in Tropicanna. Wish there were video's of what that area looks like now.
So sorry to hear that. Devastating
That is especially devastating. Hope they got help from community.
So sorry ❤️💕🙏🏻
Heartbreaking . OMG. Me too. 2004 destroyed ! 73. Hard to recover.
@@PriscillaAlford It was horrible. They evacuated at the last minute...they were wet, cold and homeless....the help they got was from family to put them up in hotels along the way...One of the hotels they stayed at was on the first floor and it flooded, so in order for them to not get wet feet they had to stay in their bed. No sleep due to smoke alarms going off the whole night in the hotel. Family put a tracker on their phone so we could know where they were on the long drive. They lived with me for 3.5 months until we could get them placed in an apartment for seniors. Hurricane Ian was horrible. THANK YOU ALL for your kind words.
I might lose a lot of stuff but my whole family and friends are all okay. That's what truly matters lives can't be replaced, but stuff can 😊 50 + years in Florida
We said, stay safe!
Stay safe and healthy 🙏
Amen
Thanks for the look at Salty Sam's! Was so worried after the devastation that came with Ian. Once the water runs off, should be good. Love from Seattle.
Of course, yeah we will have to get all the cleaning and drying supplies out again and make it paradise
Dam! That area just keeps getting slammed.
Breaks my heart! I miss living there.
Thanks for sharing this video. Stay safe ya’ll ❤
Looking at the live cam feeds from the north pine island bridge roadworks, it looks in some danger.
Swaying like crazy... 🙏
Saw that too, looks bad.
I’m so sorry. May God help everyone to rebuild their lives. Thank you for showing us. Praying for their recovery.❤️🩹
Thanks Ryan! Looks a little soggy but hopefully water recedes tonight and everyone gets dried out. We dodged another bad one! Stay safe!
It's really coming in now with the onshore winds. Going to be a long night
Thanks so much for such an informative video Ryan. It’s great to see how things are around FMB during these times when we are so far away. Very much appreciated. Stay safe.
Happy to help
Que casualidad que los huracanes en éstos tiempos van por la misma ruta.🤔
Así mismo, no quieren ni ver a Cuba.estan igual que los cubanos haciendo su propia travesía 😂😂😂😂
I'd have been so nervous driving through that im sorry yall got hit.
The Jeep is pretty tall, but was nervous about debris.
I’m praying you are safe. 🙏☮️
Thank you
I don't see a big problem here . No trees down no flooded out cars no roofs missing. This looks like Houston after a heavy storm ?
This was the first surge. The one that happened early evening was terrible. I could make it down there to film. Sun just starting to come up now. Will see how bad it got.
Thank you for showing me this. I love stormy weather. Stay safe.
Prayers. For. Them. All
Mon père et ma belle mère =2 hommes 😅
Deus proteja todos

Did Stuart Florida get hit bad
Didn't hear anything about Stuart.
Most likely not. I live in SW Port St. Lucie, which is 20 minutes north of Stuart. The wind was nonstop & strong from 10pm Thursday-3 am Friday then it started raining a lot. It finally stopped around 5 am. I don't think there's a lot of damages but there could be some flooding since it's been raining a lot the last couple weeks in Port St Lucie/ Stuart area.
For anyone still wanting to live in these flood areas, and increasing climate change...........Have at It!
Great video BTW ,... had a front row beach house on Crystal beach on Port Bolivar, outside of Galveston, Texas. Hurricane Ike removed and leveled the whole house for us.
Fallait écouter votre gouverneur 😅
Dem palm trees 🌴 are something else. A house made out of them would be indestructible???
( footnote: people please avoid walking through water like this esp barefooted. It is SO dangerous).
0:31Welcome to Paradise
Cedar key is devastated
Flooding is no big deal. Looks like you got off fairly easy.
After the storm , If approached by any Atty. do not talk to him !!
É preciso que o governo dos Estados Unidos da América faça obras contra as enchentes nos Estados Unidos da América é preciso fazer obras contra o aumento do mar em cidades costeiras
So so glad you are ok! I know hurricane Ian was really bad for all of you in that area! 🙏🙏
Did you happen to see Doc Ford ‘s ?
I've been in a hurricane when the eye came right over us and I been in a tornado when I could feel the brick wall of the building shaking. I'd rather go through a hurricane for hours than a tornado for a few seconds
Its Florida.
Thank you 🙏

Didn’t know you work there. What kind of tape you use on the doors?
Yeah, Marketing and Operations Director. Used shrink wrap tape. Worked ok if waves weren't hammering on it. But we did get a lot of water in, so who knows.
IN A WATERFRONT COMMUNITY, ITS ALWAYS ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER! A LOVE, OR HATE RELATIONSHIP! GOOD LUCK OR BAD LUCK! EATHER WAY , ITS ALWAYS A GAMBLE WITH THE WEATHER! AND THERE IS KNOW WAY AROUND IT!
True true.
I don't see how people can live or stay in those low lying areas of Florida.
See the Netherlands
Why don’t you build better you know we have storms and floods what does it take to change your building code
Think about it. The answer is easy: MONEY. A city/state government does not want to make it too expensive to attract new taxpayers/businesses. No people/businesses, no city.
Thanks for the video did it get worse thurs pm Sorry that nice jeep got into all that salt water
It did, a lot worse. I was unable to get down there to film. Too deep. Heading back down in a few minutes.
Thank you.....
Welcome
