    Just for my own reference
    1 1/2 Cups Mozzarella cheese
    1 oz cream cheese
    3/4 Cup almond flour
    1 egg
    six sausage patties
    Heat cheese and cream cheese in microwave for 30 seconds. Mix. Add almond flour with egg on top and mix. Put on parchment paper and mix more. Divide into six parts. Pat into shape and make a sausage pocket. 400º 10-15 minutes

      I started Keto myself...Bought almond flour, haven't had a chance to use it. Brand new to this thing!!! Does it change the flavor of your food ALOT?? Just seems like it would....🤔

    I made these tonight and they came out great! I did one batch sausage and another batch with hamburger, onion, and green pepper. Both are amazing! Thanks for the idea

      @@annie6500 I do scotch eggs with just 1 pound of pork sausage quartered and wrapped around 4 soft boiled eggs and bake at 400 for 35 minutes. Here is the recipe I used long ago - bit.ly/2uVTqlM - when I was still using egg and pork rinds but imo it is better with just egg and sausage.

    Another thought this could be made into pirogies with either fried cabbage and egg OR green onion and egg filling.
    Alternatively, my friends make hot dogs rolled into this dough for husband and kids.

    I find that mixing the egg and almond flour first before melting the cheese makes it easier to mix it all together.

    Omg! You gave me such a great idea for camping! I can make these as burgers!! Put hamburger inside and then have it with a salad on the side!! Thanksgiving camping is guna rock this year!!

    I may use some leftover pulled pork to stuff mine kind of like a Chinese pork bao (sp?). Should be super tasty!👍 Although I think they use a sweet bread dough for those....hmm🤔🤔🤔

    Love this recipe. I bake my sausage in the oven on parchment paper then the only clean up you have is tossing the paper out. You're not cleaning up dirty skillet.

    Looks tasty! Here's a thought: Breakfast muffin cups. What you would do is make shells using the fathead dough, by forming them in a muffin tin. Perhaps par-baking them empty might be best. Then place some crumbled, cooked sausage and just about anything you want in the cups, then top with an egg and then bake it (maybe with Parmesan cheese on top.) It sounds good on paper, but might be worth a try!

    These were absolutely delicious! Dip in sriracha.. yum! Unbelievable crust, is like eating crusty and soft warm bread! I can totally see this concept becoming great for appetizers filled with all kind of fillings. Can be used to make empanadas of all types! This is a winner!

    I added 2 eggs (my eggs were really small) Was more of a wet type batter instead of a "biscuit" type of consistency due to the additional egg so I added 2 "tea" scoops more of almond flour(using the scoop from a Lipton Ice Tea container) Batter was a little thicker but still not thick enough again for biscuits. What the heck? I just spread it out in a 10x10 pan that was covered with parchment paper and let it bake in my air fryer/toaster oven for 20 minutes. No sausage needed! It turned out beautiful! Nice and cheesy/toasty brown on the top and bottom with the inside texture of an omelette. Smelled amazing baking and tasted amazing! Not quite your recipe given but turned out great just the same. Note that I used blanched almond flour. Don't know if this made a difference or not. I cut it in squares and my family loved it! My son wanted more!

      @Raven Poe when I make a fathead dough and want it more bread like I use 11/2 c mozzarella cheese 2 oz cream cheese 1 egg 1 c almond flour 1 1tsp baking powder season how you like

    For a less grainy texture, 1/2 cup almond flour, 1/3 cup oat fiber, 1 1/2 cups mozzeralla, 2 ounce cream cheese, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon pink himalayan salt. Pressed out on my tortilla press and it covered 12 premade sausage patties. I just precooked the patties and then put a 1/2 piece american cheese under the patty and folded the dough over and baked 10 mins on 450. Basic dough, experiment with spices and fillings....it's awesome, thanks Keto Connect!

    I just made these and must say they are better than I thought they'd be. I used premade sausage patties but otherwise followed the recipe to the letter. My microwave must be more powerful than yours because I only needed 30 seconds for the first melt and another 10 after combining the almond flour and egg. Like you, I netted six sandwiches. They're tasty and the crust is more bread-like than I expected. It reminded me somewhat of good cornbread in texture. Next time I might add a dash or three of Worcestershire sauce to the dough but these are VERY good as-is.

    I never leave comments but I feel like I must tell everyone how GOOD the biscuits are from this recipe. I plan to make the sausage biscuits this coming week, but I used the biscuit to make a sandwich. I put ham and cheese inside the bread and it taste sooooooo good. I have been on Keto for 5 months and I have been trying all kinds of recipes to find something that taste similar to bread. Let me just say, this is the one. Thanks so much for making my Keto journey a sustainable lifestyle!!!

    I have bake these 3X. I use 1-2 cups of almond flour (easier to handle) and add garlic and sage powder to the flour before mixing. It turns out great. I eat them with sugar free strawberry preserves and hot coffee. Delicious 😋

    I just made these with Publix hot sausage. Awesome! I put shredded cheddar in three of them, couldn't tell the difference. I can imagine so many variations on this recipe; Italian, Mexican, burgers! So versatile and portable. Thank you for another wonderful, easy recipe!

    I made these a couple times now, but instead of wrapping the sausage, I grind it up first and just work it into the fathead dough. It makes it kind of like a sausage bread or something, but the wife looooves them

    Made these yesterday. They browned beautifully. They were super delicious although they came out looking like a flying saucer. Instead of the dough staying in a round shape it looked like the cheese melted and slipped down onto the baking sheet...very interesting phenomena!

      There's a few low carb tortillas, 5 net carbs per. I'll get fajitas to go from my favorite Mexican spot then just eat them on the low carb tortillas.

    Made these last night with lil smokies into pig n blanket. OMG Im blown away by now dough like they are!! My youngest daughter loved them and she’s extra picky. Going to fill em with low carb marinara and pepperonis and make hot pockets! SO GOOD!!! You guys are awesome!!

    I just made this recipe adjusted to post St Patrick's day. For the dough, I used half mozzarella and half Swiss cheese. The filling was chopped up corned beef, drained sour kraut, and mustard. It was so good.

    I made these the other day with my homemade Italian sausage. I added some grated Asiago cheese to the dough as well. They came out beautiful and delicious. They freeze well and thaw out and heat up well in the microwave too. Thanks!

    I think I will try this. I'm not into keto, bit this just popped into my feed. I like cooking videos. I get up earlier than I would like for work. And there's no breakfast spot in walking distance from my job. I like breakfast sandwiches because they are quick, inexpensive, and don't weigh me down. And I can make these ahead! I can imagine adding scrambled eggs, cheese, and even sliced potatoes after perfecting the technique. I'm subbing after seeing this as the first video I've seen on this channel. Thanks!

    I am JUST learning what fathead dough is - and I’m in AWE. Like... stunned disbelief. I haven’t even tried making it yet, but am SO excited to, just from how good it looks. Even for sweets/desserts? Wow! I’ve been a very slow convert to keto, without even challenging my resistance to it - even as a low-carber since forever. That much fat just wouldn’t compute. But surely your three quarters of a million subscribers can’t be wrong... right? And so far, just the almost sub-conscious shift in my overall diet, has restarted long-stalled (or at least agonizingly slow) weight loss. I feel - and AM - so empowered by all of these amazing replacement recipes, that are genuinely DELICIOUS! Omg am I dreaming?! No wait! Don’t tell me. 😊

    This is hands down our FAVORITE KETO recipe. Husband and are both on the go at different job sites every day and these are a great grab and go option that help us stay on track. We have used this basic concept to make a variety stuffed rolls including: chicken Cordon Bleu, pizza, smoked turkey and brie. Recommend making these a couple dozen at a time and freezing.

      He wasn’t saying he was against fathead dough. He’s saying it’s not unique for them to make recipes with it for the sake of their channel. They’re just trying to be creative and come up with interesting new recipes for the viewers.

    Omg! Oh so good. Just made these with a little twist. I added 1/3cup of Swerve Confectioners, about 1tsp Baking Powder, and egg yolk after I rolled them for glaze effect. Very good. Thanks for sharing🌷

    I make sausage rolls by mixing cream cheese and crumbled breakfast sausage and roll it up in a crescent roll- everyone adores them, but now that I eat keto I thought I’d have to go without so this is a great find!

    I made these lower in carbs & fat by using half the amount of almond flour and subbing the other half with grated parmesan. I have a big bag of it from Costco. I also put some dried garlic powder in with the pastry mix. Everyone loved them 😍

    I have found If you use two tablespoons of egg white instead of the whole egg it will give the final product a less sticky texture...easier to work with.

    I have some great experimenters.... 1. Angel food Cake.... cut it in sticks and make French Toast sticks... Prep it and put in the freezer and then use it in the toaster as needed....

    Looks great, my husband could take these to work! I'd probably use a larger bowl for mixing! And here in the UK we can get sausagemeat from the butchers. I pretty much never, ever use convenience foods now I'm on Keto. 🙂

    Delish! We made these yesterday! Then made the dough again later and used hot dogs with cheddar sprinkled on top. Also delish! Cream cheese would be amazing inside!

    iv ben making these for so many years nuthing new or exciting u can make them with anythng i even use shreded pork chicken or beef put bbq sauce with the meat u can even add corn to them or what ever my kids love them and helping me make them

      Kaitensatsuma come to STL, we have St Louis Kolache, a small locally owned chain, they offer more savory options than sweet! And all of them are amazing!!!

    I use a non stick pan on low heat on stove and it's sooooo easier to mix everything and spread onto the pan.
    I wonder how this would do making steamed buns🤔

    Haven’t found sausage meat without additives, locally, so I took some ground meat and added a homemade sausage spice last night! (I love finding recipes for stuff I can’t buy!)
    This recipe will be an experiment for me! It looks so good!
