- Family members and community advocates rallied on behalf of 4-year-old Jahmeik Modlin, who died of starvation. Both of Jahmeik's parents were arrested and charged in connection with his death, but now his extended family members are blaming the boy's death on the city.

Not when neighbors who were interviewed that day said they see the mother eating chicken outside on the steps and not wanting to go upstairs because they'd ask her for some. I know yall saw that interview. There is NO EXCUSE!

Someone asked what did the Reverend and his congregation did to help. He said she spoke with him. They all failed that child. Somewhere in the news said the family recently saw the kids on face time from top half only. The family knew she had kids and mental health issues why not be proactive.
Thats very heartbreaking to to hear a 4 year old little boy passed away from negligence and starve to death R.I.P little one you dont deserve that 🙏🏻🕊️💔

These are her kids and the fathers kids how is it anyone else’s fault but their own and the family is another bunch of cornballs who don’t have a clue.

So sad, no judgement but, why didn't the family reach out to her, she may have distanced herself from her family but they could have stayed in touch,go by there to visit, to see the kids, then the family could have called authorities, now they have to take care of the children and I guess sueing the city will help financially
They knew she had mental health issues why not intervene, call the authorities on her? Now child dead all that they see is$$$$

Family? This must be a joke to pretend this child had a family. Now his “family” is looking to get some money from the city. They don’t grieve or mourn.,They automatically look for someone to blame and pay them.,This behavior needs to be studied. Not even stray animals are this wreckless. The most soulless evil people on the planet. And everybody owes them something. Thank goodness for the replacement agenda.
