This was a great help. I am ordering a gen 7 sport for my son. I was planning on getting the high steer kit for it. After watching this I know I need to upgrade the axles at the same time.
The Gen7 pro comes with plastic high steer knuckles. Add that to the aluminum shocks, better tire foam, and better ring gear carriers and it is worth the extra money.
Cool video, I have a Pro that I stripped down. Removed the inner fenders for sure. I did do the upgrades but couldn't get that screw out of the steering linkage. I will have help this coming weekend to complete my rig.
Ended up just buying the Redcat gen 7 just came in so what would be our tips on making it a little bit better without spending money I don't mind spending money on it but I want to do some mods without spending cash
Dear friend, I am subscribed to your RUclips channel and I always follow your videos. I have a Redcat Everest Gen 7 Pro and damaged the servo. Could you recommend a good quality servo and the link where I can buy it? I will greatly appreciate it! Thanks for your video, because I want to make changes to my Gen 7 Pro and I know how.
Melvin Chaparro for the money i would go with this steering servo I really like Tatic servos amzn.to/2ECc8DG and for the steering arm id go with, but any 25t metal arm would work just fine. amzn.to/2BpZANS

Do you think the zero turn system will work on the redcat Everest 10 it looks like the same axles and hog head as the Gen 7
cool good to know with the sport you need to upgrade the front to universal CVD style.. Body looks cool like that! 👍😊👍
Shen RC Yeah i found out the hard way. And thanks!
I like the look of the War Head body. Maybe add a Pro-line rear cage of Ascender rear cage.
Thanks for the video, so excited for Gen8 Scout!

Why did you stop making videos? You were doing well as a starting RUclipsr!
Jeff Gould I got so busy with work now that things have settled down a little bit I'm gonna try to start making videos again

How did you take out the screw in the steering link
Michael Sarabia I need to know also. I have the parts but couldn't take out that screw that's stuck in the link.
I do have aluminum c-hubs and axles
Ever figure it out?
With a pair of pliers and a rag its all threaded, some come out easy and some are tough
I'd like to see more content on the scx10 and scx10 2 and trx4
Nice video buddy. Keep it up
