    Reminds me of my grandson who died at the age of 27. This was one of his favorites. He sang like an angel, now he is one. I cry every time I hear this.

    This is absolute magic. I revisit it once every few years and it still hits just like the first time. These four create something that can't be described, or reproduced.

    I've listened to this album countless times. I still believe that this is the creme-de-la-creme of the whole effort. Should be an Americana classic, in my opinion.

    Ive been getting into this album lately. its been cold here in Vancouver, like minus 10. I drive to work at like 430 in the morning, dark and ice cold. and this song comes on, little snowfalkes falling and me driving. its otherworldly.

    still my favorite MOF song. I prefer the version on the record where M. Ward sings, but this version is also beautiful. Can visualize this song, although it has been long since I've travelled by train.

    M Ward in the live version does this song alot more justice but this is so amazing! These guys together make each other better. Really hope they tour again soon!

    Such an amazing version (i.e much better than the album one). It's strange - it's haunting but makes me feel very content. Can imagine travelling by train across the US listening to this non-stop.

    @mkrugkill Love the comparison. I thought about a moder-day Traveling Wilburys after hearing Jenny Lewis' version of "Handle With Care" and it isn't too far off from this. I think someone like Ben Gibbard in the Orbison role would be awesome (as it was in that version) but I don't know that I'd ever want to hear a MoF song without Jim James in it!

    I Think it's definetly Will Johnson, drummer of MoF. He also sang this on the live show I was.

    @mkrugkill I would say that's a little off. Jim James is more relatable to George Harrison, and M. Ward has definitely got the Bob Dylan vibe going, with the glasses and scruffy voice. the others fit pretty nicely
