Chandler EQs and Comps are amazing, but germanium ones are something completely out of this world. Germanium comp is the the best drum bus compressor I've ever used.
Didn't realize that you had a second album out on Bandcamp, "bye bye, daw" and grabbed it up the other day. Bummed I missed the cassette drop, but hyped on the album. 💯
Luv’n the vibes bruh. We definitely share a creative passion for experimental hip hop. I’m using your journey as fuel for inspiration, As I’m coming off a my own production hiatus. So many tools to sonically explore. Keep em coming. 👍🏾✌🏾✊🏾
Yoo that means a lot! Glad this inspired. We're in a renaissance in music production technology, so it's a prime to to expand peoples perceptions of what hip-hop and instrumental music could be. Keep searching! I'm trying to push these old machines past their limits. :)

Thanks for watching. Honestly, I'm self taught and can't name any specific influences with mixing. If anything, I'm influenced by music created in studios from '68 -'73 and independent hip-hop from the early '90s. Still looking for my own sound.
Chandler Limited makes amazing gear that's true to the type of sound I envision. Unfortunately, some of their pieces are too expensive for hobbyist...but even their plug-ins rock.
You got some nice gear over there, sadly I won't be able to hear the nice fat analogue sound thru RUclipss compression algorithm... Keep it up anyway, best MPC3000 channel.
DBX119 gang! My unit was collecting dust for a long time but I finally got a 2ch pre to power my overheads and now it's on every drum recording. Gives my cymbals a smooth, inoffensive splash while adding air from the room for a little bit of vibe. People complain about it being noisy but with sufficient gain going in, I don't find that to be an issue. What about you? And what do you use yours for?
It's a powerful (and affordable) little box. Unfortunately, it's hard to get the rca cables on mine to latch properly, so i always have to fiddle with it to make sure it's connected...but when it works, it's a beast for what i use it for, which is parallel compression on my drums. Glad u got one, too.
@@eddieleonard6925 I've had a hard time getting it to clock correctly for stuff in post--like a parallel drum bus comp--any tricks to sync it with the daw properly?
Hey brother! Just wondering if theres a place I could reach out to you privately. It's just about audio, but just think it might be better if we chat privately. Thanks man!

You're absolutely right. I discovered them through the softtube plug-in years ago. I can only imagine how good the hardware germanium comp sounds.
Your own little Abbey Road studio, awesome gear bro and the beat is dope.
Thanks. Not quite Abbey Roads level, but I love the legacy they created. Definitely an inspo
mmmhmmmmmmm lovely hardware
Thanks, it's piled up over the years.
This guy never fails to impress!!!!
Always experimenting. Constant work in progress
That Full Metal Jacket... Literally
Damn that thing made those drums sound alive!
transformers.
I like the long play mix/studio tour. I'm digging the white knobs on your mixing board. They look like German fat caps for spray paint.
Thanks man. full analog aesthetic in effect. beat tape floating your way soon.
Brutal!! … and … ”mixing never really ends”😂
Facts.
sounds good, man! Loving all that texture
Thanks. Loving incorporating the pedals. I'm already plotting to get a few more for subtle touches and more ear candy.

Thanks for the support! Means a lot. I'm actually working on a 3rd project right now. Hoping to drop something by end of the year. Cheers

Been mixing this for a week now.
Very nice sound you got there, max I ask what medium you prefer to record to , since you are dawless.?
My final capture is onto a digital dsd recorder. They act as my convertors.
Hi Leonard, can i ask why you choose Chandler ?

Don't you find difficult to arrange your tracks without a DAW ? Tbh I got on DAW only for this
Yes, I often miss using a daw. But I learned to arrange all in the mpc.
How much would you charge to mix a track lol
for a small monthly fee, i'll mix your track forever...:)
