I loved Raised by Wolves as so many others. It was fantastic! Why oh why has it never been repeated?? RSVP please.

Why am I not surprised that Cailtin was a fan of Terry Pratchett? They had a similar way of looking at the world, I think.
O.M.G. Their home schooled childhood looks just like the one a teacher friend of mine told me about home schooled kids in her California neighborhood. There, girls were sometimes kept home solely to baby sit their sibs. Those girls were told by their Moms that they were actually getting an education that exceeded that of 'those poor kids in public schools' (which in Brit speak would be called 'state schools'). Then, the Moms would return their daughters to high school in their senior year, with instructions to their teachers to 'make my child ready for college'. The kids would be traumatized when they finally realized they were working at elementary school level, almost impossibly behind a regular non-home-schooled students. Sad, but true. Mind, that wasn't true for all home schooled kids, but it was for the ones with idiot parents who only wanted free baby sitting.

I've always found Caitlin Moran intensely annoying, especially her anti-male bigotry, but the excellent Henpocalypse! got me interested in her sister Caroline's work and now I must watch Raised by Wolves. Seems to me Caroline is the more talented one in the family. You can see how Caitlin dominates their relationship, though obviously they have a laugh.
