So crazy you came back three days ago after posting this in 2019. I'm working on Valhelsia Enhanced Vanilla right now and this is exactly the comment I needed to help. Thank you much!
This is the most useful information I've ever got, its extremely simple and easy to follow requiring only the mod itself and a perfect design. Thank you
After lengthy consideration, I too would take a stance alongside yours. Mainly due to the fact that the instructor was straightforward with the explanation, and they were very descriptive. At the very beginning of this video, he "got straight into it" (Simplicity Itself 0:03). There were no ads, begging for likes or subscribers present. His specific word choice made understanding this tutorial not only easy, but additionally informative towards his audience. Such rhetoric is no longer commonplace amongst the average content creator, and seeing this brings hope to the future of media consumed by the masses. The way he presents himself is synonymous with a college professor educating students on aerodynamics. Taking all of this into consideration, I agree with you that this is not only the "best tutorial ever", but it also "gave [you] everything [you] wanted" (Despair).
I found what I think is the problem that is causing all the headaches in the rest of the comments... When you built the system, you have an ME Glass Cable connecting to the large interface from the bottom. By adding that cable, it results in there being nine devices on the ME Glass Cable, which you can't do as there are only eight channels. In my case, the result was that everything except the export bus to insert the gold, certus, and diamond circuits into the final inscriber had no channel. To fix the problem, before adding the glass cable under the full block interface, place a quartz fiber on the bottom of that interface. Then place the ME glass cable there. This will stop that interface from seeing into the subnet and also stop it from being seen as a device on the subnet, while still allowing it to provide power to the inscribers and other ME pieces there. After adding that quartz fiber, my autocrafting of processors works like a charm.
After hours of frustration i got it to work. Apparently smart cables didn't work with this and i am very curious why, i thought they were the superior cables. Really amazing tutorial.
I'm having the same problem with the silicon. When I request it to make a 1k drive itll craft everything but the printed silicon. I'm not sure why it's not does anyone know ?
MAke sure the pattern is set up correctly, and make sure its using the right silicon, ive had some issues where i put BC item in recipe instead of IC2 and it throws it off completely
thanks for the quick and easy tutorial. not like most youtubers where they go "whats up guys, hit that like button and smash subscribe so you can get notified of our stupid videos where we take two minutes to introduce."
I recreated it exactly like that and it also worked, but now it no longer works the printed slicon in the inscriber is stuck and is no longer processed
I don't know what I did wrong but I can only make gold circuits but even then the silicon is pressed but also doesn't dispense into the top center press.
The printed Engineering circuit won't hop over to the inscriber above them to make the finished processor. Logic and calculation are working fine. Can I get help?
Great tutorial. This design works fine at the start but for some reason stopped displaying in the auto crafting screen once the network got a bit bigger. Strange thing is I have checked and nothing is wrong
If you really can't be bothered with the ingredients too, set up a factory for the quartz and silicon too. Creates everything from scratch. Also found out, if you really want to make it fast as fuck, you can do this, but instead of having the bottom three different, all create the same, with 3 silicon inscribers and 3 finishers. Still extremely compact, probably ways to make it more so, but have 3 of them set up, and you can have processors for days
The system will begin making more of a printed circuit immediately after it finishes creating a previous one - this is by design, so that it constantly refills itself based on resource availability or (if you have the crafting computer), demand
Liviu Valache it does you need to change on thing i found so instead of putting a ME Glass cable on top of the inscriber on the right put a quartz cable and that worked for me
@@rikeshdahya2203 still seems to hang up on the circuits once it's made complete. doesn't wanna pull em out, think this setup is a bit buggy. when you make this pattern a few times to make em faster, it sucks circuits back into the interfaces from your ME.
I built this last night, Seemed ok last night but I got on today to do some stuff and seems like my system locked up, now telling me I dont have something needed to make something else, but I have said thing in my computer. Specificly a printed calculation circuit. I made sure when placing everything like circuits and end products were all in that same order (the diamond one 1st, gold one 2nd, and the pure Certus quartz) any ideas? Thanks in advance.
And then there's refined storage which is so much easier. This has been the most annoying storage system to work with and it's been annoying enough to make me plat another modpack with anything else. So much effort to simply automate a crafting process which could be done with an input and an output plus some cables.
Not sure if anyone will see this, but I'm trying to set this up and am having some trouble. Beyond not seeing patterns for the ME Interface block (I see that there's a comment addressing this) I can't figure out why my circuits aren't pulling into the final inscriber to print. I can get the silicon and restone to come in and the diamond/ quartz/ gold are being pressed, but then they just sit in their respective inscribers. I have the export on the top middle inscriber with the items saved into it. Anyone have any advice?
I'm pretty new to AE2 and am using this setup in 1.12.2. I haven't seen anyone else ask about this, so I'll be the first. One thing I don't understand is why have an interface on an interface block (and how come only one needs patterns)? What does that accomplish and why does this only work if both are present? Also, how do the storage buses know when to transfer stuff? I know you can place an interface block beside furnaces, put in some patterns, and it'll work (using IC2 furnaces so they have ejector upgrades), but I'm looking to create a setup that doesn't require the interface to be adjacent to the furnaces, and the first step to doing that would be to better understand why/how your setup works. Any help is appreciated :)
I dont get this to work. i think what you have is a crafting monitor with a crafting co-processing unit behind it, and a 16k crtating storage behind it. thats what it looks like even if my blocks don't look the same. but i cant even plug in my crafting monitor in my glass cable, like you have. it just doesnt connect.
i accidentaly broke it, then i rebuild it and now its giving my logic processors to me interface and printed stuff to the inscriber on top xd i rebuild it sweconds time and it still dotn work, can anyone help pls?
Nice Video 👍🏻 but i got a problem. My printed silicon does not get filled in to produce the final processor. Everything works fine until the machine wants to put the printed silicon in. Anyone got a solution ? 😅
I know it is 4 months late so you may have figured it out or given up, but I have the answer for other people who need help. He didn't mention it in the video but you need a crafting CPU. It's a multiblock structure that consists of a crafting terminal, crafting storage, and optionally a co possessor. Look up crafting CPU for a more in depth tutorial. I made a simple one with a crafting monitor, 4k crafting storage, and a co processor.
I set it up with a 16k crafting storage and a co processor but when i have it craft it only crafts 1 item at a time no matter how many i tell it to craft. How do i fix this?
My setup here is very simple and intended to only craft 1 finished processor at a time. It has nothing to do with the crafting computer. Instead, you're going to have to build more of the physical crafting machines and figure out how to hook it up so that the crafting computer can use multiple at once.
One of silicone in the press, the other takes the finished product into the middle top inscriber. It's been a few months but I'm pretty sure that's what it does. Cheers!
It's actually not working, shouldn't we also make the printed circuit before doing this ? because i watched this video several times and didn't see any moment he made an printed one or an pattern for it. Any body can help ? =)
You will need to craft some circuits manually before this auto inscriber setup will work. Otherwise, you will not be able to specify to the machines what goes where, and what is supposed to come out. Look at the resource list in the description and make sure you've made everything there.
