Veins carry blood to body parts....so for legs we can say blood from heart goes to the legs....but then valves should prevent backflow of blood to heart right? How do valves allow blood to move only in one direction ie towards the heart?
@5:54, it's just that the atrial ventricular valves are pulled towards the ventricles when the ventricles contract. But according to the video on atrial pressure changes during the cardiac cycle, I thought that a tree of ventricular vowel spoiled into the atria during ventricular contraction. Could you clarify?
During isovolumetric contraction, the valves bulge into the atria. And during the ejection phase, into the ventricles. It's mentioned so in video on atrial pressure. I hope that helps
Tysm.....it helps alot....I literally watch almost 4 to 5 videos but this is the video from where I understand this topic ....
You alway make medical topics as easy as watching cartoons. Thank you for teaching 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Amazing explanation, thank you.
The greatest explanation I have ever heard in my life. 👏👏👏Can you complete the rest of the physiological topics?
Yes. We will eventually cover all of it.

Could you explain how someone lying on their stomach for 16-20 hours a day for four months may have effected the venous pump? Muscle tone? Etc?
Thankyou

It's already explained.
Veins carry blood towards the heart from the body hence the valves ensure the flow is unidirectional i.e; towards the heart
From heart to legs is through arteries and arteries doesn't contain such valves
