trying to revise on a weekend sucks 😂 this helps a lot tho so thanks for making the video! I just get distracted a lot when I study which isnt great because i've got mocks tomorrow🙃
thank god there's only a hand fully of words I have to spell correctly, bless the science gods. Okay, maybe not Louis Pasteur (I still think he accidentally left his milk out and called it a discovery)
Hi Edlyn, I already did full length videos for the whole biology and chemistry specifications pre COVID. I just did special ones in 2022 due to the removed content.
@Ziyan Pathan Not a separate video. If you look at the header it changes colour and says Higher Tier whenever it's stuff foundation don't need to know.
40% of the marks are for pure factual recall. So if you learn everything you've got 40% sown up. The other 60% are for things like interpreting graphs or applying these facts to novel situations, so you still need to nail those!
You won't get a choice about which one to take unless you are an independent candidate. Schools make the choice based on things like literacy demand and the topics covered, but for GCSE about 80% of the topics are the same between the four main boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC) because Ofqual said what had to be included.
@@DrdeBruinsClassroom ahhh I see..well, I'm actually revising for the equivalency test. I went to BBC bites and I was overwhelmed by the varieties of the examination boards! Does it matter which one I use to revise than?

It isn't listed in the advance information, which means it won't form a major question (e.g. a 6 marker) but can still be examined in low tariff (1-3 mark) questions. It's not in the list of ruled out topics so you still need to revise it.
You are the best science teacher in my opinion 👍😊❤ just a question does this cover all paper 1 content for biology and that's coming up for my gcse I know some advanced topics as well but you think it's worth going through everything

For the biology papers there are some bits you can skip for the 2022 exams (although bear in mind that if you have mocks to get ready for they may well still contain topics that won't be in the June exams - e.g. if your papers have already been printed - and if the June exams were cancelled, those mock exams could still end up determining your final grade. Also, if you want to go on to do A-levels, you need to know everything anyway!)
