Due to the tough terrain, it's hard to build roads and calamities are also washed out every year due to natural calamities. But this place is a haven. I think that discomfort is much less than what you saw. I hope in the future you will get a wonderful road driving experience.
On a Himalayan the road is actually a LOT of fun. I understand that by car or normal motorcycle, it might be uncomfortable. But by Himalayan, it's a wonderful experience 😊
