I love the rich, dark greens with a nice dark wood like mahogany in a small living room space. A color like that on the walls with a couch and rug to match, makes that small space feel cozy and enveloping like a blanket. At the same time it feels luxurious, aged and calm like an old growth forest that’s been there before you were born and will be there after you’re gone. Timeless.
I don't usually like boldly colored tiles in kitchens but I LOVED that emerald green brick shaped tile with the sheen on it. That looked so amazing in that space! Gotta rethink my kitchen now.
I just painted my kitchen sage green. I was very nervous as it was a bold move, but it turned out beautiful! I also painted my bedroom a deeper green and it turned out so gorgeous. My bedroom feels like a big hug when I walk in there. It's my favorite color!
A little green goes a long way in my house. Sea foam green on One wall in the bathroom, teal for a tertiary color in the living room, and houseplants everywhere.
You may have missed the most important quality that green brings forth, which is the quality of Love. The heart chakra is cast in green. Kudos to you for a really informative and inspiring video! Our living room is monochromatic shades of green/grey that we designed around over a year ago, and not only do my husband and I love it but visitors say they love it as well. Thank you for a great video.
I've recently moved in with my Brother. The house was built 100 years ago, is a fixer upper, and has two small bedrooms and one large Master bedroom. I've moved into one of the small rooms -- a 10' X 9' with a very small closet and bright Lemmon Yellow walls that have various sized holes and patches of peeling paint!!! At least it has lovely dark hardwood floors and doors. Most of my bedroom furniture (that is still in storage) is dark brown much like the floor in the bedroom. The bedroom at 3:52 is the vibe I'm going for, the Forest Wallpaper at 4:23 is quite intriguing, an I have been thinking of wooden planks/boards on the ceiling like in the rooms at 3:52, 9:14, and 10:30. Thank you so much for this video! You've helped me coalesce the various designs I have bouncing around in my head. Now, off to the home improvement stores to grab the essential materials to fix this ghetto-azz bedroom!
Green is my favorite color. I'm in the process of renovating my master bathroom with a glossy sage green tile around the shower and tub. Saw an inspo pic on Pinterest and fell in love, it looked so soothing. I can't wait for the finished product.
I like the rooms you have shown with the light greens. It's taken me years to like green as a decorator colour for 2 reasons - 1) When i was growing up we lived in public housing that was painted in a colour that became cemented in my brain as 'housing commission green' and 2) I was a young adult in the 70's when everything was burnt orange and avocado green. Thankfully I have come to appreciate some modern greens! In fact, I have just put a cosy reading chair in my library that is a soft sagey blue/green and it is really pretty.
"Housing commission green" AKA "institutional green" was in every public place, including schools. I think civil authorities must have gotten a major discount by ordering massive quantities of that shade of paint. Part of the problem was that the spaces painted that color had nothing inviting or attractive going for them. Add harvest gold (a fancy name for mustard yellow) to the burnt orange and avocado green mania. The green reminded me more of leftover guacamole. When shopping for appliances there were no other color choices. I do not miss those trends one bit!
Thank you for watching and sharing Lynette and Marilynn! That’s how I feel about “Swiss Coffee” at public schools in the 90s! 😆 It’s SO yellow, but somehow every school had this painted on every single wall + ceiling! They bought it by pallets I bet! 🤣
I remember when I was so into green especially hunter green, but now I prefer light and airy. In fact green is one of my favorite colors aside from red and I was into green in the 80's and loved it. I really love the "color" episodes, thank you for doing it, it really helps.
Love this info. I'm a green fan and have plans to to my bedroom. I'm also painting my exterior in a green. I just love, love, love decorating with green! I'm learning as I go. =)
Hi Julie! I like this video because I really like green. I use it as a neutral in my home because it goes with so much of my upholstery and custom curtains and wood tones. I have a reddish wood floor throughout the house. I think the green sets off the red orange tones really well. When I re decorated my dining room, I have a chair rail under which I put a burgundy red paint to hide the prune splatters from my children’s meals. It worked! But they don’t splatter prunes on my walls as they are in college so I went with bm soft fern under the chair rail and the same wallpaper I had above with a light green background and cranberry birds sitting on big leaves. It’s a subtle pattern. I have that wallpaper for almost 2 decades and I never tire of it. I put a very large light green almost grey no pile wool rug with muted floral motif to match the paint color. And of course I have custom straight panel valances with jabots that are also green but they were there first and dictated my green choice colors. It’s a north facing room with no direct sunlight so I had to keep it light green. I did put a very large mirror opposite the window to reflect light. The room has not changed much in my 2 decades here except for the green paint and the rug. I am certain I will not have to change it again. I love the color scheme. And my kitchen sunroom and hallway are bm nantucket grey and I love that green too! The rest of the house is pretty neutral with bm navajo white walls. Did you know that cats dislike the feel of velvet and it’s a safe upholstery choice for cat lovers? 🥰😂 I never knew that but if I did…🥰Margaret
Such a testament to the power of nature’s colors and scenery Margaret! The fact that you have that wallpaper up two decades later and still love it?! That’s so awesome 👏🏻 thank you for watching and sharing! I love reading your comments, I can always visualize the pictures you paint of your fabulously personalized home 😍
One of the best colors for warm toned woods and to tame red, orange and yellow undertones in it. I like it along earthy tones, creams, beiges, yellows and oranges.
My favorite color green is mixed in the same container, Moss, sage and soft lime because it has a gold hue. These 3 mixed can create the perfect subtle suede green. I'm obsessed with using this green with an amber orange or burnt orange woods to create a contrast that feels so homey.
Perfect timing! We are building a new home right now. I have always been a green person, the exterior of our home is a sage green mixed with warm neutrals on trim, brick and door. I am dying to have green kitchen cabinets and create that “dialogue” in the home as you mentioned. Thank you so much for this video!! ❤
I so appreciated the practical advice given in the video, such as pairing green with complementary colors and using natural elements to enhance the overall green-themed decor. Kudos Julie!
Hi Julie! Thank you for bringing this Green segment to light! I'm actually helping my mom update her apartment - she wants to paint the gallery kitchen walls green and has mixed woods through out the home (dark kitchen cabinets and walnut colored trims and doors) so I plan on checking out the best paints for wood trims. The kitchen is open to the living area which is separated by a 43" cabinet with shelves facing out to the living room. This separation also gives the illusion of a tiny foyer where most tenants place their dining area - but I think it's too small an area because of the door swing. Your video is very helpful especially Heidi's wall designs and plan to do a mural on a feature wall. Also, I have the same 70s bathroom you featured with the blue tiles except her's is yellow - each tile appears to be slightly off in color from each other. But luckly it's only on the shower walls and 3/4 up the rest of the remaining walls in this very tiny (7' x 6') space. The ceiling needs a serious sanding due to poor plastering but I thought about using the same green on the ceiling and doing a moorish design with yellow and blue to make it appear like a jewel box. Can you please do a segment on other ideas on how to update or refresh these types of bathroom tiles. Since it's a rental we can only play with colors and stick on tiles, wallpaper, etc.!
You got it Victoria! In the meantime, check out my video on timeless bathroom and kitchen trends! I added segments on patterned tile for more inspiration, check it out 🤗
Absolutely love the greens. I don’t think you ever tire of green. I have some sage touches in my living room, and foyer. My sofa has a brown background with a beige and sage fern print. My office room is the color“ Lemongrass.” by Sherwin Williams. When the sun shines in there, it’s so cheerful. I love the greens against the darker woods, as you mentioned. And I love a lot of white accents. Im so happy you put out this video.
Luving your color review. Looking forward to more. Another challenging color I'm interested in is eggplant, deep purple. I once saw a bedroom with aubergine walls and delicate, transparent apricot sheers on the window. Ages ago so I can't quite remember it all, but I never thought of it as an interior design scheme I'd ever choose - but it was stunning. Cozy, elegant, dark, yet warm and cheery too.
Before we married, I asked him why green was his favorite color. His immediate response was , “It must be God’s favorite color, too, because the world is so full of it.” So I did our big master bedroom in Sherwin-Williams’ color called Great Green, with baseboards and crown moldings done with a pure white softened with a tiny bit of green. The result is beautiful and restful and comforting, and hey, now it’s even a big-time trendy color! Major win-win!
Wish I could see that. We moved into a new house, our MBR is lime green. I’m brown I don’t look healthy against this color! ( lol) My hubby suggested a dark moody almost hunter too. I wasn’t crazy about the color, now I feel MUCH better. God’s favorite color…❤😊
Hahaha! This is so timely!! I just went yesterday and spent so much time looking at paint colors, i tired myself out!!. 😂🤣 I'm looking for a green blue that looks like it could be blue....or it could be green...depending on the light or time of day. So far, I took samples of BERH Waterfall, Moon Glass, and Rain Dance. I also took samples of PPG Glassine, Blue Pearl. I'm thinking this could be for the kitchen island, on which I plan to use a marine or auto finish so it will that glassy look. Btw, for the island top, I plan to use two materials butchers block and stainless steel. Looking for paint colors is EXHAUSTING! To be continued. Thanks for doing this video!
I feel ya!!! Literally obsessed over my primary bedroom wall color for over 6mos! 😅 I documented the entire ordeal to share in the bedroom makeover video coming up, stay tuned 💚
This is so informative! The detailed comparisons between light and airy green decor versus dark and moody green decor helped me visualize how different shades can completely transform a space. I loved how you explained the psychology behind different shades of green and how they can influence the atmosphere of a room.
As someone who's always struggled with choosing the right colors for my space, the video was a lifesaver! It beautifully showcased how to incorporate green in both light and airy styles or dark and moody vibes, giving me tons of ideas for every room.
This video is so timely. I was already final with my decision of painting my entire master bedroom (including the ceiling) in moody green and this justified that I made the right decision. 😎🥰
Julie, Just put my gray/green draperies on my windows. They are beautiful. Surprisingly, they are Sanela from IKEA, a gray/green velvet. Hung them on brass rings and rod. Very pretty.
Hi Julie. Loving this colour series! We redecorated our family room with sage green accents against a neutral wall. It really brings the outside in and is a calm colour. We have finally found some armchairs we like which are an olive green with contrast cream stitching. Can’t wait to take delivery of these. Greetings from the UK ❤
Yay! You made a decorating with green video - my fave color. I just almost commented requesting that! Hope you do videis for pink, purple, abd yellow too! Maybe you have...will look.
Thank you 🙏🏼 green is my favorite. I love the different shades of green throughout the house. I have golden oak stained tongue and groove ceilings and walls with the exception of the living room walls only, they are drywalled. I really like the green with the golden orange wood hue i have, maybe even more than blue. I’m excited to play with an all green colored home. Maybe just white walls in the living room though?
How can you always make the best video of all?! I live in the green, here at the animal shelter in the country and apart from my many plants i chose other colours to bring "inside" . Julie always top content🎉❤
Green is my favorite color and in the 14 homes that I have owned, green always finds its way in! My current home has the dreaded honey oak “time stamped “ kitchen cabinets. Presently I am changing out the primary bath suite (thankfully it has walnut cabinets) but the kitchen is on the horizon and I have seen some appealing greens that I would love to use. Be bold and enjoy being different! All Beige and neutral is not me! Great detail, thx!
Thank you for watching Kim! Check out my video on Best Paint Colors to Pair with Wood Trim- lots of honey oak inspo in case you have to work with what you have 🪵💚
Just the perfect video I needed. I'm looking to add green to my living room / kitchen. I love moody green colors. I'm trying to do a dark academia vibe. I would love to see a video on that.
Hi Julie - I have a question on tile size. We are planning to renovate a very small bathroom (5' x 9'). It's in a 1925 condo, tub to the right to be replaced with a shower, sink and toilet to the left. I am in love with the Angela Harris Flatiron Aquamarine tiles. There is a 2"x2" that would be used for the shower floor. There is also a 12" x 24" that I could use for the rest of the floor (less grout lines.) Would it look better to use the 2"x 2" throughout? Walls in larger format glossy white ceramic, Oak vanity and medicine cabinet. Would love your input. Thanks!
I would keep the 2x2 for shower pan only. I like the larger format tile for walls and floor. You can even mess around with the orientation. Perhaps follow the length of the floor for vertical tile application and landscape/ horizontal offset on the walls?
I put poster board on the wall and paint it - then I can move it around the room and if I'm not painting right away, I don't have to live with it on the wall.
Thank you thank you. You have validated my bedroom decor. All walls are dark olive green and after your advice on another video, i painted the ceiling a light moss green, instead of white. There's an impactful accent wall with green background and flowers with bold and subtle colours (yellow, white, faded pink).
This couldn’t have come at better time Julie. My flat is currently full of green paint samples. I’m not sure which green would work with a charcoal grey fabric sectional. Or if it wouldn’t work at all. My current favourites are Farrow & Ball French grey. Or if I am not brave enough Elephants Breath. If you have time to give your opinion that would be amazing. ❤
French grey would be my pick for your space since Elephants breath feels very beige. If you want that slight green tint, French grey has it. If you want to go bolder, I also love Card Room Green 😍
Enjoyed your takes on green👍 I will be renovating my new apartment soon and I’m looking at Grey and green combo with modern luxe theme . Hoped it will turned out nice. 😊
Julie, that sound lovely! I’m going to check Brooklinen out. I’ve heard wonderful things about them. Thank you so much for responding! Have a wonderful day 🤗
Haha I actually have green tile in my kitchen, my primary bedroom is sage green, I have a green/blue fern patterned area rug in my living room, and light silvery green sheers. Green is gorgeous. I'm all about it.
Hi, Julie. This may seem a bit weird to add, but sometimes getting another opinion on the green(s) you are choosing may be helpful. My brothers and sister have color-blindness, which affects how they see some colors, especially the greens. It is something we joked about any time my sister was decorating. That is until I developed cataracts. I never knew that ones colors can be distorted until arguing with my husband about the tv remote's color. Was it bright green or aqua? He won. It has been trippy, especially having only my right eye done-I close my left when wanting to see the real color. (Don't get me started on how my dining room is not the perfect color I thought it was . Lol-ish.)
Vintage vogue is a hot and trendy color, but to me, has so much timeless appeal. You can always switch to light furnishings if he wants another look! 😍
I love love green. Everywhere in my home, except in my bedroom which is dark Bordeaux red, linen, and pink. Emerald cabinets and curtains with dark wood in the kitchen. And dark green velvet armchair in the lounge with one yellow banana sofa and another sofa which is dusty pink. 🤔 Is it too much color ? Thank you Julie 🙏 I learn a lot from you.
Hi Julie! super information!! Could you please do a video on the color orange? I inherited a small studio in a muted orange that I actually love, but not sure how to work with it for my other furnishings. Any ideas? Thanks!!
I’m just so impressed with your knowledge and design style. I’ve been on the fence in my master bdrm. I have light beige walls, expresso dresser etc. I want to change out my blush colored comforter to a green duvet or quilt but I don’t know whether to use light greens or dark. I’m in an apartment and don’t think I can change wall color. Any suggestions?
Dark sounds lovely against the light walls Barbara 😍 Brooklinen actually makes a stunning olive green quilt coverlet. I have it in ivory against my green walls- I love it
This video came in the perfect moment to me, I’m thinking of buying an emerald green sectional couch at ikea, and didn’t know how to style it 😅😊. Can you give an advice on how to style it, with roble wood floor? Thank you
I would shop for artwork or an area rug next. If your style is minimal, keep it neutral (ivory-beige-brown tones). If you want to bring in more color or pattern, pull the colors from the art piece/rug for a cohesive look 🙌🏻
I envision a deep dark green, like the leaf green behind you, in a kitchen. The lower cabinets are green and the upper cabinets are light neutral beige. Wood colors are a rich medium brown. Thanks for the inspiration!
Though Green is also a fav of mine, I couldn't live with "grass green" kitchen cabinets...however "black-green" could be a go...at least for lowers! My much loved kitchen HunterGreen/White checker board floor tile finally cracked & had to be replaced. The wood-look LVP replacement extending into the adjacent family DID visually ENLARGE the space ...a plus. Next green opportunity under consideration...a "Forrest Wall Mural" on my Dining Room end wall.
Good video! In an open floor plan with white walls so I don’t want a huge transition to a green kitchen area? Are their any wallpapers or green shades that you recommend?
I love a white marble bathroom as much as the next girl, but my new bathroom is deep forest green, gold, sand and tropical plants. It’s so cozy, if you can call a bathroom that.
Are you team light & airy or dark & moody greens? 💚💚💚
Great video! Love green whether it is light and airy or dark and moody, so calming.
Dark and moody right now for my bedroom but a celery green for the living room.
Soft greens, light and airy because I only have two windows that face East.
I prefer medium yellow greens, such as nature and mossy tones.
Both! Loved your video. Thank you, Julie!
Love all these greens. It is a healing color, calm and stress reducing for me.
Same here- I can make a case for the entire spectrum 💚🌲🫒☘️
I love the rich, dark greens with a nice dark wood like mahogany in a small living room space. A color like that on the walls with a couch and rug to match, makes that small space feel cozy and enveloping like a blanket. At the same time it feels luxurious, aged and calm like an old growth forest that’s been there before you were born and will be there after you’re gone. Timeless.
Greengold interior silk upholstery and drapes are always worth looking at. 😎
The ultimate luxury silkkkk 😍
Dark moody green with wood ceiling and floor is the way we are going ❤
Green with wood 🪵 anything is just magic 🪄
My bedroom is green and white. So happy that you discussed this topic!
Mine just went green and I wished I did it sooner! 😍
Green is my favorite color. I painted master bedroom in Chimichurri. It feels like I’m in a beautiful cocoon. Safe warm and cozy
I'm looking to do my guest room in a dark green, so I just looked up Chimichurri. Gorgeous!
So pretty!! Dark and moody, I’m into it!! 🖤💚
@Geronimo2Fly we just did office in Homburg gray. Reads green. By sherwin williams. Check it out too. And enjoy transforming that guest room
That F&B light Green blue is one of my favorite colors.
F&B just knows color! 👏🏻
I don't usually like boldly colored tiles in kitchens but I LOVED that emerald green brick shaped tile with the sheen on it. That looked so amazing in that space! Gotta rethink my kitchen now.
It’s a BOLD move that I bet will become the showstopper in your home Kristi! 💚🙌🏻
Thanks, Julie.
Thank you for watching Peggy 😊💚
4:23 was my favourite room! It combines the hunter green I love with the marvellous wallpaper with the trees. Thank you for a very inspiring video!
Entering that bedroom each night would be like stepping into an exotic glamping experience!
Color is just so transformative 😍
So much good ideas for interior design ! 🥰😍🤍🤍
Thanks ! 👏🤩
Thank you for watching Mimi! 💚
Green is my favorite color, so yes, I love it all. Earthy and kind of a neutral.
Earthy organic natural relaxing 💚💚💚
I just painted my kitchen sage green. I was very nervous as it was a bold move, but it turned out beautiful! I also painted my bedroom a deeper green and it turned out so gorgeous. My bedroom feels like a big hug when I walk in there. It's my favorite color!
A little green goes a long way in my house. Sea foam green on One wall in the bathroom, teal for a tertiary color in the living room, and houseplants everywhere.
Same here.. love the wash of SEA SALT or MARINER in a mostly neutral space . Like a cool wash for the eyes.
I have yet to add some coastal greens to my space, sounds lovely and refreshing!
As a gardener, I love green!!
Nature never disappoints 🫶🏻🪴🌱🌳🌿

Glad you noticed 😉💚
I've always been a fan to sage greens, especially for a kitchen. 🌿
So pretty!! Next house 😉
Would love to see appropriate paint colors for desert modern design. Thanks Julie!

Ages ago so I can't quite remember it all, but I never thought of it as an interior design scheme I'd ever choose - but it was stunning. Cozy, elegant, dark, yet warm and cheery too.
I will never wear green, but love it on furniture and walls. Especially with gold or red accents.
Olive is a more forgiving color to wear 🫒😬
@@JulieKhuu True.
That’s sweet!
💚
Tinting that white was a pro move!! Love it 💚👏🏻
Wish I could see that. We moved into a new house, our MBR is lime green. I’m brown I don’t look healthy against this color! ( lol) My hubby suggested a dark moody almost hunter too. I wasn’t crazy about the color, now I feel MUCH better. God’s favorite color…❤😊
Any chance I could get a pic of your room? I'm thinking of painting my kitchen cabs that color😮😮
Always start with a “mood” and every design decision can reflect that feeling 👏🏻
As someone who's always struggled with choosing the right colors for my space, the video was a lifesaver! It beautifully showcased how to incorporate green in both light and airy styles or dark and moody vibes, giving me tons of ideas for every room.
The best of both worlds! 💚
The best inspiration! I went green in my guest bedroom… love it!!! You always on point.
Thank you Lola! Everything is going green in my home as of late 💚
This video is so timely. I was already final with my decision of painting my entire master bedroom (including the ceiling) in moody green and this justified that I made the right decision. 😎🥰
Glad it was helpful Michelle! 🤗
Julie, Just put my gray/green draperies on my windows. They are beautiful. Surprisingly, they are Sanela from IKEA, a gray/green velvet. Hung them on brass rings and rod. Very pretty.
Brass and green go so well together! Ima have to check it out, thanks for sharing Sharon! 💛💚
Hi Julie. Loving this colour series! We redecorated our family room with sage green accents against a neutral wall. It really brings the outside in and is a calm colour. We have finally found some armchairs we like which are an olive green with contrast cream stitching. Can’t wait to take delivery of these. Greetings from the UK ❤
I have the same combo in my home- sage in the bedroom, darker olive tones in the common areas 😍
Yay! You made a decorating with green video - my fave color. I just almost commented requesting that! Hope you do videis for pink, purple, abd yellow too! Maybe you have...will look.
Love these spaces! I use green extensively in my apartment 💚
Thank you for watching Tony! 💚
I never thought I’d paint my walls white (first time in 18 years 😅), but I love how it feels like a gallery against colorful artwork and accessories 💚
Hi, I tried to use the code for Samplize and it didn't work? Did it expire?@@JulieKhuu
How can you always make the best video of all?! I live in the green, here at the animal shelter in the country and apart from my many plants i chose other colours to bring "inside" . Julie always top content🎉❤
Sounds like you’re surrounded by the best Stef! 🌳🪴🐶🐱🐾
Check out my video on Best Paint Colors to Pair with Wood Trim- lots of honey oak inspo in case you have to work with what you have 🪵💚
Have a green wallpaper on the yellow side in my dining room. It feels like a fresh crispy sallad. Love it :)
Fresh and Crispy! Love that! 🥬🥒💚
Just the perfect video I needed. I'm looking to add green to my living room / kitchen. I love moody green colors. I'm trying to do a dark academia vibe. I would love to see a video on that.
Not sure what I can add to dark academia that’s not already done here on RUclips, but I’ll try Eve! Love that vibe 💚🤎🖤
I used dutchboy cypress gardens in my living room all 45 walls (with east and south windows ) it’s so lovely I’m so happy
I love your hair and makeup ☺️
Thank you so much Carol 💚
Hi Julie,
Green one of my favourite colours ❤
My bedroom decor is green, curtains, artwork, plants, cushions, throw 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I just love your videos 😘😘😘😘
Love that Flavia!! All of a sudden I looked up, and everything went green in my house 😂 It was a natural move 💚
DARK AND MOODY!💚💚💚💜🖤
Ftw!! 🙌🏻
I put poster board on the wall and paint it - then I can move it around the room and if I'm not painting right away, I don't have to live with it on the wall.
That’s a great way to play with colors 👏🏻
My grandmother use to say green belongs outdoors but I think I like the green inside to. It looks fresh.
Which is precisely why I love to bring it inside- so it feels like a breath of fresh air 🪴💚
Light or dark Green is what I love on this planet. Love it ! I especially Love Your Taste period !❤🙂
Thank you so much Kenneth! How about those middle hues?! Too bold?! 💚
Thank you thank you. You have validated my bedroom decor. All walls are dark olive green and after your advice on another video, i painted the ceiling a light moss green, instead of white. There's an impactful accent wall with green background and flowers with bold and subtle colours (yellow, white, faded pink).
Yes 👏🏻 Let’s start addressing those ceilings people! No more white!! 🙌🏻 love it 💚
Thank you 💯
Thank you for watching Felita! 💗
Can I use green in bedroom that has black / cream with African zebra rug. And which greeen wud be great. Maybe a sage. ??
Absolutely! Olive tones would be beautiful 🫒
Enjoyed your takes on green👍 I will be renovating my new apartment soon and I’m looking at Grey and green combo with modern luxe theme . Hoped it will turned out nice. 😊
Watch my video on Decorating with Gray for a mix of tips to reference 💚🩶
@@JulieKhuuThank you ❤
Love this video! Can you share details about the large picture/mural in your bedroom? I just love the scene! (1:41)
Yes of course! I scored it in Round Top! Check out my antiques shopping video from this famous TX fair Debrah!
Julie, that sound lovely! I’m going to check Brooklinen out. I’ve heard wonderful things about them. Thank you so much for responding! Have a wonderful day 🤗
I love Brooklinen (crisp, hotel like bedding) and Cozy Earth (super soft with a sheen) - both go-tos for luxury bedding!
Haha I actually have green tile in my kitchen, my primary bedroom is sage green, I have a green/blue fern patterned area rug in my living room, and light silvery green sheers. Green is gorgeous. I'm all about it.
Thank you for sharing Audrey! Love how you pulled different hues into different spaces. Makes for some variety, but still cohesive 👏🏻😍
Hey Julie! The green I’m after is the green you’re wearing! 🤣 What comes close to it paint colorwise?
Lol-ish.)
A perfectly valid point Pattie! Color can take on so much variation, depending on your furnishings/lighting etc but yes ESPECIALLY the beholder 😉🙌🏻
I'm in the process of painting my sons bedroom green ! Vintage vogue bm .this video is very helpful ❤❤❤ my son wants dark amd moody
Vintage vogue is a hot and trendy color, but to me, has so much timeless appeal. You can always switch to light furnishings if he wants another look! 😍
@@JulieKhuu ❤️❤️❤️
Thank U Julie, my daughter wanted green walls. I'd like to as well, but still on the fence.
Thank u for full vision on Green🌳
Keep it on the lighter side and the room will feel fresh and relaxing 😌
oh I love green. it is a great color and i use it alot. I never heard of Samplize. i am going ot use them next time I need paint. thanks!
Yes, check them out! I especially love that the samples are real paint - not just a color match Carol 🎨
I've painted my bedroom Lichen #19 farrow and Ball. My windows are white. Which color should I use on my trim. Windows have beautiful wide trim
Beautiful video...
Thank you for watching Wendy! 💚
NEVER too much color Veronique! Sounds like the maximalist space of my dreams 😂❤️💚💛🙌🏻
I love green in the bedroom, dark green cos it makes you sleepy.
Anyone know what the green is at 3:34? It's gorgeous.
You can take a screenshot and upload it onto a paint vendor’s site for a color match 🎨
dark and moody greens!
Hi Julie! super information!! Could you please do a video on the color orange? I inherited a small studio in a muted orange that I actually love, but not sure how to work with it for my other furnishings. Any ideas? Thanks!!
Interesting! Sunset hues are huge in design right now, let me line Orange up 🌅
I’m just so impressed with your knowledge and design style.
I’m painting my bedroom dark green, I’m doing a dark academia look in there.
Moody greens ftw! 🙌🏻
Julie I love all ur videos I follow ur fungshui 💕I love green too
Thank you for watching Lanie 💚😊
I envision a deep dark green, like the leaf green behind you, in a kitchen. The lower cabinets are green and the upper cabinets are light neutral beige. Wood colors are a rich medium brown. Thanks for the inspiration!
Sounds lovely! I have a wood paneled + green kitchen I’ve pinned for over a decade now- still obsessing over it. Just love that combo 🪵💚
Next green opportunity under consideration...a
"Forrest Wall Mural" on my Dining Room end wall.
Oooh I vote mural!! 🙋🏼♀️ Dying to place one at my entry 🌲🌲🌲
Good video! In an open floor plan with white walls so I don’t want a huge transition to a green kitchen area? Are their any wallpapers or green shades that you recommend?
Watch my video on how to pick the perfect wallpaper Krishan! Lots of ideas plus I linked my favorite wallcovering vendors in the description box
@@JulieKhuuok!
Im that green person forever 😀
Recently moved away from Kelly to hunter green and I can cocoon in it ❤️😺
Kelly was hot for a min, then emerald, then olive, Hunter is a staple… sage never goes out- gimme all the greens! 💚🤗
I love Green
💚💚💚
Great video! Can you do a video on decorating with red?
Great video - what is the best green to pair with black?
Any… all!! 😂 Depends on what you’re going for. Sage + black (classic), emerald (bold), hunter (moody)
I love a white marble bathroom as much as the next girl, but my new bathroom is deep forest green, gold, sand and tropical plants. It’s so cozy, if you can call a bathroom that.
Yessss cozy everywhere, even the bathroom! 🙌🏻😍
If I hadn't taken green for my bedroom, the bathroom would have gotten it (it's maountain blue instead). Love those deep forest colors.
Hi Julie! 👋 quick question? Would you suggest green wall paper in a small bathroom 🚻??
I don’t think you can go wrong with a non-woven paper that mimics grasscloth. Or go bold with a fabulous mural! 😍
I would love to see a light beige to warm up the greens or even crisp pure white if your style leans more contemporary 😍
@@JulieKhuu Gracias por compartir 😊
