I suppose the reason people continue to come after Eminem even after witnessing what's happened to those who have taken shots at him in the past simply harkens back to the old adage that any publicity is good publicity...that regardless of the outcome, that initial buzz will undoubtedly increase attention and result in some quick revenue. I've been a musician for 30+ years, a thrash/death metal drummer, but I've always had the ability to put my personal tastes aside and appreciate skill/creativity/talent/work ethic/etc. I don't have to enjoy something to recognize it's level of artistry. Lord Jamar was in a group from the 90s that were more Roots type hip Hop. Very lyrical and was on true to the craft of hip Hop and not mainstream back in the day. Black roots type hip Hop. Well Lord Jamar dissed Eminem saying he was wack and all this stuff.
So that's when Eminem said in his last line. First of all Eminem said he got his Fame just like the way Elvis did back in the day. Like Elvis whole career style was taken from Black culture karma but Elvis was not down with the black community or culture at all. He used the style to make his Fame but didn't give props back. Eminem saying Lord Jamar did the same thing back in the day. That's why he said he's coming into the home that you and Elvis own. And he's going to make himself at home, because Lord Jamar said he's just a guest in hip hop. That's why he went further to say I belong here in clown... Then talks about not only he belongs here but all the people that he inspired.. including the great 50 cent. So basically saying don't tell him about hip hop culture he already knows about it he lives in it.
