All those years ago my best friend was a firefighter and he rated this as a lousy series for recruitment. So many of the crew were less than well-adjusted, lots of backbiting and everyone had a terrible marriage. He worked in a busy station but they actually had shifts when there weren't any ' shouts '!
I met an ex-fireman who thought it was a joke as well. He turned out to be a drunk in the end. Another was never away from the local social club; both bitter, arrogant and miserable. The London Brigade at least enjoyed being a part of it...I doubt it ruined recruitment. It probably boosted it and inspired many to join.
My boss is so similar to Nick - I know this isn't real, but I have issues similar to Kevin, although unlike Kevin, I wasn't stupid enough to insult my manager to his face. We sat down together, had an informal chat, and we sorted it out.
Florjan Brudar Pearce changed after Patti went and he met Fiona, Nick was their boss, he had to be firm but he had a good heart. The series went downhill after his character died, Bulstrode is a big softie too but again he is management and thus has to stick with rules and regulations. Skase was an arsehole, I understand that one.
"If there's no sale on, why's all the goods in the window ?" LOL !
That was genius! Hahahaha! 👍🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
One of the best series best theme tunes, I miss the 80s.!
Then they ruined twice lol why to me the ten series is cannon what happend after was a bad dream
Kevin was a pro at making a prat of himself
I seem to remember Kev was absent form duty the next day - What a suprise !
not even colin was that dumb lol
Good man nick
If I remember correctly, George had to pull Kevin up when he took charisma’s money (via gambling).
Looks like he didn’t really learn.
George looks very dapper in his suit corr

It was also television David.
To be fair, watching firemen watching tv and playing cards for 50 mins would hardly be entertaining would it? 🤣 🤣
@Luke Morris Series 10 was when it went downhill. 11 at least tried to bring back what was good about 1-9.

Poor Kevin hope he ok.
that was a neat right hook from nick, i wou;dn't like to piss him off! also, i like malcom's tie and suit! very dapper!
Wouldn't
Think Malcom was getting into that. :D
Kev was a dick - If you try to hook someone else's fish, you don't say "Sooooorrry,, mate !" sarcastically.
I knew the new guy in eastenders was in this or the bill...my mum was saying otherwise so I'm glad I found this as I win the bet lol
"Kiss my arse"
Colin was such a muppet - He makes a sordid comment about a girl to his boss without realising the girl in question is his boss' fiancee !
It's Kevin's fault for getting himself punched
Well, duh! He was drunk!
@@florjanbrudar692 He also insulted his Guv’s sister, drunk or not that’s worst faux pas you can do.
3:19 Kiss My Ass

Out of all the characters in London's Burning there were 2 i disliked.
Kevin and poison.
Couldn't stand them.
Mine were Bulstrode, Nick, Scase and sometimes Poison
@Stefano Pavone What do you mean by "why Bulstrode and Nick?"? It's obvious!
Also, clearly you might have answered your own question.
Scase and Chris Hammond.
Mine were Poison, Scase, Pitbull, and Chris Hammond
