I love it! But as I said before, I’d really, really love to see them make a slightly smaller version, say around 26-27 feet. Eliminate the privacy wall for the bedroom, and keep the Murphy bed, shorten the kitchen a little, if necessary. That would bring it down in weight and maneuverability, but still have most of the functionality. It would still likely be heavier than others in its class (like the Rockwood 2509S) but understandable the way Ember builds RVs.
Right?!?? They refuse to make a compact (22-24ft tip to tail) touring edition. I’ve screamed this from the beginning of these touring videos. It’s like they are ignoring half the market in this series for some reason
@@Erin-Thor i understand, but being in CT myself, there’s not all that open space. It’s all parks for me, plus the fam likes all the amenities and activities at the parks. Maybe after I retire and have time to go west, then I’ll want something more boondock friendly.
Like the floor plan .. up to the bunk part. Got no use for bunks. Be nice to be able to use that section for an office space instead. Dont mind losing the camp kitchen
I really like the layout, however we don't need the bunks, but they could be for storage. I love that dining table! However, the bedroom would be our living room, with a TV. It's just the two of us so we're somewhat flexible.
LOVE how these things are built. Would love to see them solar wired to everything with an option to put a house sized inverter in; I'd be using the bunk access to put house size panels to deploy for extended boondocking.
WOW WOW WOW WE are in LOVE with this RV, it's like they literally watched and listened to all the RVers RUclips videos thru out the years and said "ok, NOW let's build a perfect RV for the people". Seriously perfect...the closed bed is great for my husband's office space (if he has to work while on the road), the kitchen area, drop leaf is so nice. I LOVE the flooring, the colors, I wouldn't change a thing...oh, and my husband's fav is the enclosed front propane, finally someone is listening...thank you for the video and thank you Ember, we are thrilled and will be buying one soon.
No side-splash protection to the right of the stove! Would love to see this model without the bunks/trunk and a full, much larger rear bathroom. I'm loving the direction Ember is going with their products.
Been waiting for this one! Honestly I wouldn’t change anything. Love the color scheme and all the Ember touches! Hopefully this will be my first trailer!
Love the U dinette! Don’t care for the slide out. The twin to King versatility works for us with our 15tb. I just want that U dinette and full bathroom along with the twin beds.

Had a look at this one today. While the bunk house isn't for us it is a nice looking trailer. We liked the cabinets and the shower was a good size. The one thing we still don't like about the trailer is the lack of a camp side window in the bedroom. Even with the skylight the bedroom feels closed in and dark. The floorplan we are most interested in is the 21RK. With its open sleeping area and entrance door near the bed we aren't sure the lack of a window will be as big an issue. Based on the rest of what we saw in the 24MBH the 21RK is on our list of 2 or 3 finalists. We also had a good look at the 201FBQ. If Ember could find a way to get a larger shower and convection microwave into it we would have bought one on the spot.
open face storage works great. I have seen some that the doors actually get in the way a bit due to door opening direction and hinges making it tricky to fit some tight items.
I would definitely use that bunkhouse as a mini-office. I’m curious about the ability to add a door rather than the curtain. I’m also super excited for Ember’s “embertrack” bunk system becoming standard.
Lovin' these Embers and their continuous improvements. Just waiting for them to expand their line up one size bigger than the 28MBH with a pass thru bathroom (single sewer outlet) and either East/West bunks or a bunk room. Only want to upgrade once from the starter unit I have now.
With respect to the electric outlet in the outside (under dinette), I would have my EcoFlow/Jackery there, plugged in to charge up. I love the outside storage behind the refrigerator - it would be great for paddles for kayaking. Keeps them safe.
Would love this in the MLS adjustable bunk area version. Dogs, kids, bikes, the extra storage is nice. Just curious, any plans for a toy hauler version??
The power outlets under the dinette...I would use that area for things you might want to have charged up- like tool batteries, lanterns, etc. Things you want ready to go but not in the midst. As much as I love Ember, I think they missed something on this one. Or maybe it's another model? I'd like to see it with the versatile bunks instead of an outside kitchen. That and the front murphy would make a trailer that breaks all the rules.
I would like to see the bunks be twin bunks. A tower type cabinet with adjustable shelves where the small door is and no small door. The cabinet could be used as more storage or used for clothing, when we have Grandkids with us.
Re:Bathroom storage, it depends what you put in there. I put TP in the bottom shelf of mine, paper towels in the middle, and bath towels in the top shelf. No issues with retention at all. I do have to smush the TP and PT rolls to get them in...but I don't have a TP roller anyway, and the PT seem to smush back out well enough to work fine. I have also used the PT shelf for stuff like shampoo, with a PT roll in the front. Doors (or drawers) would be nice, but would eat into the available storage volume; on the whole, I'd rather the volume.
@@JoshtheRVNerd the dining table, the outside ladder which is safer when it's angled, motion lights, better outlets, and more shelves in the bathroom. I can't remember other small things.
Thanks for these. The local RV shows haven't had Embers show up at all and I'd really like to see them in person. Short of driving to a dealer that carries them, these videos have been the best opportunity to get a sense of what Ember offers. They're definitely in my top three design preferences. For what it's worth, your past couple of videos have had moments of the camera auto-stabilization twitching a little. It may either be time for a good cleaning or considering a new camera.
Very nice but I am in agreement with you that the bathroom linen cabinet needs a door or two. Open storage like that just is going to have you cleaning up and picking up your entire cabinet worth of supplies and towels every time you get to your campsite. Although I don't think of myself as someone who needs bunks, the storage space would be great for holding my power wheelchair and dog crates that I do need when I travel. I would definitely opt for the theater seats rather than the dinette and I do think they need to consider upgrading 2:50 amp service with an optional s air conditioner. But otherwise it's pretty darn perfect.
I would try to option regular white doors. Those look like they’re going to cook in the summer. I think they finally went to single latches on the storage which is good.
Pretty interesting. But, it still doesn't reduce the high price any. Not sure I would pony up all that money for what is essentially a 30 amp econo-box. No deals on the msrp on Embers either which also makes the lack of 50 amps a little tough to take.
We use some plexiglass that we cut to put in those open bathroom slots to keep stuff from falling out while we travel. I like the outside kitchen space to hold my grill but don’t need a prebuilt kitchen. Did i miss it? Where do you keep the sewer hoses and connections?
Ember needs to design a ONE sewer connection, eliminating the need for y connectors and SO much sewer hose with little space to store it withour adding more sewer tubes
This is the model a local dealer is bringing to the RV show this weekend. It isn't what we are looking for but it will let us see how they are built and optioned. I think they could still fit a window between the door and wardrobe if they use one of those narrow ones like you see in some of the Cherokee models. I'll give them credit that put a window in the door unlike some manufacturers with their solid doors.
There is room for a small window there but it’s not a size ember currently uses. Managing a smaller list of parts is hugely helpful for a variety of reasons
We don't have any problem with the open linen storage. I absolutely love this Floorplan. The MBH option is golden. This is not an ultra light trailer, but I'd love to see Imagine build one of these.
I really wish they'd option the removable bunks from the overland series. It would really take the unit from a family unit to a couples camper. I also would like to see a door on the bathroom storage.
24:11 I would like to see them, put some wire harness spiral wrap around the wires for the Winegard. Let’s face it we all drive under some tree limbs occasionally.😅
Dang near perfect! Wish they could figure out a little campside bedroom window for a cross breeze... If they are stil making this model when our boys are old enough that we feel we want more than a curtain betwen us and them... its on the top of the list.
#rvnerdherd … no no keep whining…I’m not a full timer but I have open storage at the top and behind our toilet and ya I need to do creative storage solutions because sometimes the stuff falls out!! Love this layout!! Thanks for the video!!!
I have this model on order. I wish Victron equipment upgrade was an option like on the Overland models but I plan to do that swap myself. My girlfriend and I both work remotely, so the separate murphy room is perfect to each have our own workspace and take calls at the same time.
I was really nervous when I saw nothing but an uncomfortable dinette, but then bam💥you showed that awesome murphy bed that allows for an office space or a little comfortable separation from the kids👍
Ember, I need a 2 way fridge. In the Pacific Northwest I cannot rely on solar year round. We camp in densely forested parks and it rains a lot here. The national forest parks and some state parks do not offer electricity and, again, those parks don't get a lot of natural light. We also like to camp year round. We are not fair weather campers and I need a trailer that can support that.
I don't love the location of the outdoor dimmer switch. My 4yr old is totally going to play with it and annoy the neighbors. I love the storage of this unit. I love the flexibility if the spaces and the touches like the flip up counter being countertop level. I love the blind spot lights. This makes me feel safer driving. I love that the awning covers both doors. I love the hitch, as we do have a taller vehicle. The non-campside storage is super super cool. I love the toolbox and hope that becomes standard. I love the skylight in the bedroom. And @joshthervnerd I do like the eyeliner.
If I were to go the park camper route, this would be my Ember of choice (although the limited kitchen counter space is a bit of a drawback). I do wish that Ember would off the MSL option on their Touring Edition bunkhouse models. I also like to see the spare tire mounted up on the rear wall of the RV (like they do on the Overland Series) to keep it up out of the way of any accessories mounted on the rear accessory hitch. Speaking of the Overland Series, I wish that Ember would hurry up and bring the lagun tables over to the Overland models...and I LOVE the tables on each side of the sofa instead of one in the middle!! Also, I wish the Overland series had the slightly wider 30" shower enclosure that these Touring models have (the extra 6" makes a HUGE difference!)...or at least a curved top shower "rod" like you find on Rockwood GeoPros or Flagstaff E-Pros. Wait...WHAT??? They added the exterior access doors to the slide (ala Rockwood/Flagstaff)!!! PLEASE tell Ember to add those to the 200 models of the Overland Series!!!! As for the power outlets in that slide access area, that's a cool and innovative touch. Not sure what I'd connect there...maybe rechargeable batteries for tools or a vacuum, etc... but I have been asking for 12v and/or 110v wiring/outlets in the front cargo boxes of the Overland Series to hook up a tire pump or connect a heating device to keep the LP tanks warm while winter camping! I do wish Ember would beef up their frames to add at least an additional 1,000 lbs of CCC to each of their models, including this one!
O.M.G. can you pleas get Ember to switch to a different floor pattern on there vinyl flooring ? @ 3:20 with the slide out the floor patter is mismatch and screams poor fit and finish but with the slide box in the floor pattern will match up to a tee and if Ember can match the floor pattern when the slide is out it will be mismatch when the slide is in
This would be neat if you could get it with the versatile bunk rack system the 28mbh has, and could access the refrigerator in road mode. it looks like the u-dinette is a little too long to flip flop them, but if the one side was just a tad shorter it could work.
@@Erin-Thor I thought I have seen where the bottom of the slide leak while driving has a resolution with Ember providing some additional seals. I assume they will become part of the standard manufacturing process but haven't heard anything one way or another.
@@barbaradowney4207 we also own a rockwood and love the quality. I really hope that Rockwood and Flagstaff add many of the updates we see on this unit.
OPEN-FACED BATH STORAGE: - cut cardboard slightly larger than opening -cover with contact paper to match -velcro edges Done (used for 3 years)! Put commonly used things in the more accessible area and use this for storage.
I'd love this with the multi bunk option, it would make it a much more attractive unit for us. We don't need the outdoor kitchen, I'd like the big window in the bunk area like in the multi configuration unit. In the bedroom, it needs a tv mount opposite the Murphy bed/sofa. This lets you watch tv in bed or, when in office mode, the tv could act as a large monitor. I love the two Lagun tables in the Murphy set up. I love the cargo area, great to transport my kayaks. Once on location though, it would be great to have a secure locking point campsite side.
12:15 , either in that faux brick shower, surround the other direction or change it to something else. That kind of looks like a mistake to me. Thanks. Nerrrd!
I like it, but I’m not sold on the doors. Worried about the possibility of rocks shattering those doors and then it’s in the shop for replacement. Any thoughts about this problem Josh?
@Josh the RV Nerd at Bish's RV - I had heard from one of the sales representatives that you would be putting up a walk thru this week. Was wondering what changed in the inside, buying one. Will have a roof top tent too.
I don't hear enough outrage on the horizontal folding guard rails. I've seen other models that have the vertically mounted rail that makes more sense from a stability standpoint, as well as keeping the park kids from locking you inside. That needs to be the next hill to die upon now that everyone has caught on with the bottom lift privacy shades! Quality video as always my friend!
Holy moly, the got the fireplace in and the full size oven to boot! It even has TR-TR-TR-TRIPLE Lagun tables! In my opinion, this model is about 90% perfect just as it is. What I would ask for/change is to either give it the missile (MSL) treatment to open up the cargo area for more personal customization or overtake the bunk area with a huge bathroom that has a HUGE walk-in shower and extended (wardrobe) storage or washer/dryer hookups since there's already gray tank plumbing there anyway. I'm also curious if there's a free standing table and chairs option instead of the dinette, though I think this is one of the best dinettes I've seen, especially with all that exterior-access storage underneath. I would use that power outlet to plug in our power tool battery pack charger since the one we use has an eight battery capacity and store the rest of our tools and power tools in that area too, especially since I get the impression that it would be somewhat climate controlled with the doors under the benches opening to the interior. Alternatively, that area might work well for holding even more (lithium) house batteries (on a tray?) if it is indeed kept warm. I'll say it again... while we're biased to one particular brand, Embers have a place on our short list and they're the only other brand that does.
I'm not a fan of the stargazer system. Any chance Ember is going to offer a unit on the overland series without it or is it a staple that will never be removed from the Ember line?
Technically the ROK and ROL models lack it but I get what you're asking. Currently it's a base staple feature they include on everything. We could always inquire on a stargazer delete for you though. I've never asked..
I need to make a video on this or something. I’ve answered it individually so many times. Glad you asked btw - just kind of thinking out loud here. So here goes. Again 🤦🏻♂️ 😆 So that’s kind of old news that is still hanging out there largely because dealerships didn’t step up to take care of things. Here’s what I mean. Very early in the embers production, but after their first primary batches of RVs rolled out, they identified without question. They had an oversight inner engineering that was allowing the slides to leak while driving in rain. They never denied it. They made adjustments on the production line to immediately stop that from happening. And they also sent out service bulletins advising all the dealers to check and fix all existing inventory, and of course, paid them to do it if so, it would become a major But most dealerships never did anything. Most dealerships sat there with RVs that didn’t leak sitting on the lot so they looked good enough to sell, but knowingly sold things that could leak after they were taken home. If you watch my Ember factory video tour, then you’ll see a point where they were sealed testing all of their RVs. They did that as a result of that initial oversight, and now test the seals on every single unit that comes down their production line.
One thing the Lance 2445 has over this is the use of the Truma Aventa Comfort ducted AC. For some reason all the sales reps that I talk to for Ember don't think that the Truma can be ducted. Am I missing something?
Great question - and I think I have the answer. The Truma air CAN be ducted. But not in an Ember. That's the hiccup. Their roof construction doesn't really allow for ducted A/C on their Overland series where the Truma air units are used. That's why you're getting goofy feedback
Thank you Josh this is a nice Ember! I think it’s nice and it sleeps a great number of people. Nice for its size. I like the choice of having the outdoor kitchen. Thank you Josh!
This company is doing some great things! It's very similar to the Imagine 2400bh, arguably better, albeit a tad heavier/longer. I could see using that front bedroom as an office, but for the weekend warrior, like myself...the price tag is hard to justify.
Pretty sure they can do a seat swaption yeah. I think they're eventually working toward the MSL system standard on their models but they need to re-design their camp-side wall to accomplish that. Changing walls is slow
Josh, did your parts department go out of business? No one answers the phone or returns calls. I need parts for Apex that was purchased from Haylett. If they closed do know of another dealer in the area that can help me. Thanks
Love this model (MBH model). It offers a lot of flexibility and convenience. Does the fixed bed then offers the typical storage under it with the fully open top and drawers underneath? Great idea with the Lagun tables. When you said the bunks have 600lbs rating, does that means each bunk, or each bunk is rated for 300lbs? Did I saw what it seem like a small safe at the floor of the entrance closet/pantry? While you expressed your preference of short shelves for room for a broom and/or mop, I would love full depth adjustable shelves. I would love to load that closet/pantry with non perishable stuff that I will use and forget about it. Maybe just 3" short for the mop and broom. Love the TON of storage. Also love the p lo plastic bins under the dinette. Prefer them clear so people can see part of the content before pulling them out. outLike the brand Concur with the non-open bathroom shelves. At least the narrow vertical shelves. At least a bungee net. If they will leave this open, I hope the shelves can accommodate an easy to find plastic bin and a lip at the bottom so bin doesn't slide out in transit. I guess my mayor criticism is the decor. There is no contrast. Everything looks so light color or neutral that isn't exiting or appealing. Light color must have some style like the barn decor I believe Freedom Express has. I hope they have a decor that have more contrast or look more luxurious even with the same materials. Now don't go old school super dark like the Northwood brand. Is there an option of a second TV for the bedroom or it will be a dealer installed option? Does the TV has DVD capability? Love the liner at the pass through too. The cargo box seems very useful and practical too. My 15.5' fishing kayak will fit on that floor thru cargo door.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Josh, you are like everybody's first love. Ee love you with all your imperfections. Write as many comments as you want. We watch your videos for your honest reviews, not how "hansom" you are. LOL
Seen a couple of videos on RUclips, about Ember owners having problems with their travel trailers, as where a lot of people in the comments section, seems they no better than other manufacturers. Apparently it is the dealerships problem not Embers, doesn’t say much for their customer service or the QA before being shipped.
This seems very heavy and long for this floor plan. It’s probably pushing the limits of what a ‘1/2 ton’ truck could tow especially when you consider you have a family of 3-5 in the truck.
SO........if it has one, where da heck do you access the water filter? I am so sick of seeing models that have them in locations that only a child can access.
Lagun tables should replace the tables in 90% of the RVs on the market. I don’t know anyone who likes those pole tables or knee knockers as you call them.
Ugh still nothing small (22-24 tip to tail) in the touring series…. Ember is really disappointing me in this series lol! Guess grand designs is gonna get my money 😢 I know I’ve commented this on every touring video. But just my opinion. I do love it. Just not the size I want and thats a dealbreaker for me
Unfortunately it won’t matter to me after next month. Just sucks I wanted to buy an ember so bad but looking like the grand designs aim 18bh is gonna be the company to get my money. Good luck ember! Wish y’all wouldn’t have ignored half the market on the models initially with the touring edition
@@JoshtheRVNerd the overland is a very very high consideration. The main thing leaning me towards the 18BH is if I’m being honest I’m paying for that independent suspension that I honestly will never need, the tongue weight on the 170mbh is pretty heavy for the size, the bunks arnt removable (just salty it’s not been retrofitted to the ember trac system lmao!), and while prefer no slide the slide on the 18bh really does open the floor up it looks like. My logic is I definitely do not mind paying premium for an ember. However, if im gonna pay top dollar I expect it to be 100% everything I want no questions asked. And for the ember line while theres a lot I do like, the price forces me to expect much more, adds more dealbreakers to the equation, and the little things add up. Vs the 18bh I can probably get for 10-20k cheaper and it would do exactly the same vs the 170mbh for my use case. It’s weird to describe. But the price tag of the embers makes me think differently. I know the ember is for sure worth the cost. It’s just at that cost I expect to receive allllllll of the things I consider perfect in an RV. Vs the 18bh I’m a little less picky (not much) but the 10-20k difference really makes me think, “ ohh well I could figure out how to deal with a slide out”, and I guess I could remove the bunks myself once the kids get older and move out. Vs with the cost of the ember I expect perfection in my eyes. Sorry for the long winded response it’s difficult for me to relay my mindset through a message haha I’m sure this may be an ignorant way to look at it but to me it’s a logical outlook for some reason 😅😅😅 Still to date there’s not one perfect RV in my eyes that I’ve found for my ideology. I even started to look at airstreams for that reason but quickly realized there’s no way in hell I’ll ever afford one being military 😂🤣 I did find one I liked however the price was more than my house lolol
@@JoshtheRVNerd 😱😱😱 Sorry for all the disappointment posts lately by the way lol! Still watch all the videos and low key hoping you make it out to the great falls location around April when I’m purchasing my Rv to get a photo with you haha!!
Wooden Roof truss, rubber roof...No thanks. What exactly are you paying for? Regular suspension like every other trailer. Nothing here to set it apart. Interior not as nice as a Flagstaff or Rockwood. Disappointing really. As a Flagstaff owner, I was excited to find an Azdel trailer for its replacement. I was expecting build quality on par with the Overland series. Different suspension, different roof. Nice windows though.

MSL bunks would be cool I think
I would like to see the bunks be twin bunks. A tower type cabinet with adjustable shelves where the small door is and no small door. The cabinet could be used as more storage or used for clothing, when we have Grandkids with us.
Ty Elizabeth
Re:Bathroom storage, it depends what you put in there. I put TP in the bottom shelf of mine, paper towels in the middle, and bath towels in the top shelf. No issues with retention at all. I do have to smush the TP and PT rolls to get them in...but I don't have a TP roller anyway, and the PT seem to smush back out well enough to work fine.
I have also used the PT shelf for stuff like shampoo, with a PT roll in the front.
Doors (or drawers) would be nice, but would eat into the available storage volume; on the whole, I'd rather the volume.
Ty for the feedback
I really hope Rockwood and Flagstaff looks at these updates and does the same thing.
What exactly stands out to you?
Camera is WAY overdue on an update. No question.
Ty Rosemary
Good tip
For sewer stuff a tube added could work
Ember needs to design a ONE sewer connection, eliminating the need for y connectors and SO much sewer hose with little space to store it withour adding more sewer tubes
I want to know where I can purchase the the model so I can put together myself.
I’d consider trading in my 2022 15tb for a TB Ember version with U dinette & full bath.
That'd be great for my kids.
We don't have any problem with the open linen storage.
I absolutely love this Floorplan. The MBH option is golden. This is not an ultra light trailer, but I'd love to see Imagine build one of these.
Ty!!
I really wish they'd option the removable bunks from the overland series. It would really take the unit from a family unit to a couples camper. I also would like to see a door on the bathroom storage.
In time I think they may standardize that but it may be a bit
24:11 I would like to see them, put some wire harness spiral wrap around the wires for the Winegard. Let’s face it we all drive under some tree limbs occasionally.😅
Solid point
Dang near perfect! Wish they could figure out a little campside bedroom window for a cross breeze...
If they are stil making this model when our boys are old enough that we feel we want more than a curtain betwen us and them... its on the top of the list.
Here's a peek at their updated version ruclips.net/video/vASQdyslCoI/видео.html
#rvnerdherd … no no keep whining…I’m not a full timer but I have open storage at the top and behind our toilet and ya I need to do creative storage solutions because sometimes the stuff falls out!! Love this layout!! Thanks for the video!!!
Ty
I have this model on order. I wish Victron equipment upgrade was an option like on the Overland models but I plan to do that swap myself. My girlfriend and I both work remotely, so the separate murphy room is perfect to each have our own workspace and take calls at the same time.
Outlet could be for a fan or heater?😊
What happened to the laser cut design on those front brush guards that they had in the first year?
It’s still there
I was really nervous when I saw nothing but an uncomfortable dinette, but then bam💥you showed that awesome murphy bed that allows for an office space or a little comfortable separation from the kids👍
Glad you liked it!!
Fewer and fewer 2-fridges re being made. They’re actually becoming hard to come by for some brands
@@JoshtheRVNerd that's interesting and sad/frustrating.
7:33 Interesting how the cabinets have the feet overhang like in a house. Any info on that? Can't say I've seen it in a trailer before.
I’ve seen it before but it’s less common. That toe kick is nice
O.M.G. can you pleas get Ember to switch to a different floor pattern on there vinyl flooring ? @ 3:20 with the slide out the floor patter is mismatch and screams poor fit and finish but with the slide box in the floor pattern will match up to a tee and if Ember can match the floor pattern when the slide is out it will be mismatch when the slide is in
Agreed, the Rv is Beautiful - just change out the herringbone floor pattern, WAY too busy in the rv
This would be neat if you could get it with the versatile bunk rack system the 28mbh has, and could access the refrigerator in road mode. it looks like the u-dinette is a little too long to flip flop them, but if the one side was just a tad shorter it could work.
Check this out m.ruclips.net/video/vASQdyslCoI/видео.html
From the cover it looked like you had a karate suit on.. lol… great video
Not for many years 😊
10:58 I don't see a TV mount wall sticker. Do they not have a bedeoom TV spot?
Bedroom wall is tv ready. Sticker would be helpful
How does this fair with the Rockwood ?quality wise
@@Erin-Thor I thought I have seen where the bottom of the slide leak while driving has a resolution with Ember providing some additional seals. I assume they will become part of the standard manufacturing process but haven't heard anything one way or another.
@@barbaradowney4207 we also own a rockwood and love the quality. I really hope that Rockwood and Flagstaff add many of the updates we see on this unit.

Put commonly used things in the more accessible area and use this for storage.
Functional. I Like it.

@@JoshtheRVNerd I have been watching your channel for a while and love it. I knew you would get my sense of humor. Keep up the honest reviews !!
MSL bunks here would be awesome
12:15 , either in that faux brick shower, surround the other direction or change it to something else. That kind of looks like a mistake to me. Thanks. Nerrrd!

@@JoshtheRVNerd I just realized my voice text got screwed up. I think you deciphered it though. 😆
I like it, but I’m not sold on the doors. Worried about the possibility of rocks shattering those doors and then it’s in the shop for replacement. Any thoughts about this problem Josh?
Good video
Glad you enjoyed!!
Looking to see when you are going to have a video on the new Limited Edition 2023 Ember 190MSL
Only just announced. I will have my hands on it soon hopefully
…brilliant ty
I was wondering about the availability of insulated inserts for that stargazer window. Someone does make them! Oh, Ember, foul temptress.
😂
Turning the bunks into the “missile silo” would rock
Saw that at the Novi show, impressive.
I was there. Did you happen to stop by??
@Josh the RV Nerd at Bish's RV we passed each other a couple of times but you were busy and I didn't want to be like a creepy fan boy. Lol
Cool
I'm not a fan of the stargazer system. Any chance Ember is going to offer a unit on the overland series without it or is it a staple that will never be removed from the Ember line?
Technically the ROK and ROL models lack it but I get what you're asking.
Currently it's a base staple feature they include on everything. We could always inquire on a stargazer delete for you though. I've never asked..
Did they fix their issues? There's a few people on RUclips showing Embers major issues.
I need to make a video on this or something. I’ve answered it individually so many times. Glad you asked btw - just kind of thinking out loud here. So here goes. Again 🤦🏻♂️ 😆
So that’s kind of old news that is still hanging out there largely because dealerships didn’t step up to take care of things. Here’s what I mean.
Very early in the embers production, but after their first primary batches of RVs rolled out, they identified without question. They had an oversight inner engineering that was allowing the slides to leak while driving in rain. They never denied it. They made adjustments on the production line to immediately stop that from happening. And they also sent out service bulletins advising all the dealers to check and fix all existing inventory, and of course, paid them to do it if so, it would become a major
But most dealerships never did anything.
When will Ember offer MSL eTrack system in their Touring line?
I'm literally editing my video on the first of them now!
Josh , what happened to the Rockwood hardside pop ups , don't deal with them anymore ???
Rockwood retired then years ago
Love it!!!! Josh do you know is the underbelly accessible?! Accessabelly if you will?!
It’s not that type of belly enclosure
This company is doing some great things! It's very similar to the Imagine 2400bh, arguably better, albeit a tad heavier/longer. I could see using that front bedroom as an office, but for the weekend warrior, like myself...the price tag is hard to justify.
Yeah their take on the imagine for sure
The “build” of this is very different however
@@JoshtheRVNerd what do you mean? Build process, quality, materials…?
Can the dinette be swapped w/ a reclining couch?
What about a MSL system like in the overland model?
Pretty sure they can do a seat swaption yeah. I think they're eventually working toward the MSL system standard on their models but they need to re-design their camp-side wall to accomplish that. Changing walls is slow

Best. Comment. Yet.
Prefer them clear so people can see part of the content before pulling them out. outLike the brand
Concur with the non-open bathroom shelves.
Fixed bed does offer traditional under storage
Bunks are 300lbs per sleeping space
So double bunks are 600lb each
So both combined us 1200lbs
Not a safe by the door.

Seen a couple of videos on RUclips, about Ember owners having problems with their travel trailers, as where a lot of people in the comments section, seems they no better than other manufacturers. Apparently it is the dealerships problem not Embers, doesn’t say much for their customer service or the QA before being shipped.
Not sure the “casting couch” option in front makes any sense
😆
It's too bad the fridge isn't accessible in road mode.
Really interesting. Not a fan of the glass doors.
Thx for sharing!
The TV should be bigger
What size is right ?
This seems very heavy and long for this floor plan. It’s probably pushing the limits of what a ‘1/2 ton’ truck could tow especially when you consider you have a family of 3-5 in the truck.
Ember, does everything a little bigger basically
9:15 watch you breath. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
SO........if it has one, where da heck do you access the water filter? I am so sick of seeing models that have them in locations that only a child can access.
I think we all would appreciate it if you stayed out of the HR department ☺️
They gotta catch me first!
Lagun tables should replace the tables in 90% of the RVs on the market. I don’t know anyone who likes those pole tables or knee knockers as you call them.
I mean.. the company selling the poles likes them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 😂
I'm hating on the dinette
Can be swapped
Ugh still nothing small (22-24 tip to tail) in the touring series…. Ember is really disappointing me in this series lol!
Guess grand designs is gonna get my money 😢
I know I’ve commented this on every touring video.
Just recorded that one actually. Cool model
Curious if looking at an 18BH, then why not an overland?
Sorry for the long winded response it’s difficult for me to relay my mindset through a message haha I’m sure this may be an ignorant way to look at it but to me it’s a logical outlook for some reason 😅😅😅
Still to date there’s not one perfect RV in my eyes that I’ve found for my ideology. I even started to look at airstreams for that reason but quickly realized there’s no way in hell I’ll ever afford one being military 😂🤣 I did find one I liked however the price was more than my house lolol
@@JoshtheRVNerd 😱😱😱
Sorry for all the disappointment posts lately by the way lol! Still watch all the videos and low key hoping you make it out to the great falls location around April when I’m purchasing my Rv to get a photo with you haha!!
Its nice but looks like the rest.
Thankfully built very differently
Ember. Make this with 700lb hitch and less then 7,700 tow weight. The majority of 3-row SUVs can't tow more then 7,700
I'm buying an RV (from Bish's) this year. If the hitch weight was below 770 I'd buy this. Unfortunately, my SUV does not permit weight transfer bars.
