This is an awesome camper. I want the camp side storage and the windows are a good size. Glad to see the ladder standard and thanks Ember for the table and its storage solution.
I would also love to see the 800W max solar option from the Overland Series. Ember is tip toeing into competition with Northwood, Lance, and Outdoors RV. 2024 should be the year they go “full send” with that.
Nailed it. And if they are going against those three, they really need to up the Cargo and tank sizes. I love the ruggedness of these units but they are built for weekenders and not much more.
@@astrodb4487 Its funny you mention that, my local Bish’s has in inquiry with Ember to find out what the GVWR limiting factor is on the cargo; axles, tires, etc. I just hope they don’t overshoot and go past my TV rating 😂. As for the fresh water, being a large SUV and having to stay in a certain weight and length limit for my comfort, I figured I would be doing some water runs with an auxiliary tank anyway. *Looking at the 24BH, this 29RS is too large.
I got to see this a while back when we visited Ember RV and it was incredible with Christopher opened-up those windows. This is a nifty floor plan with so much Azdel and just a solid design in so many ways. I also love that bedroom configuration where you can go and use it as an office or just to cool down after your spouse says something...well...I'm not gunna write "dumb" but. Yeah.
Yup. The 25’10” length caught me as well! I’ve been looking for my first RV and all types of RVs under 28’ are being considered. Talk about 25lbs of sugar in a 10lb bag! I’d been looking at a “B+”, 25’5”, and wondered how the heck Ember got so much more in! Took me longer than it should to look it up, lol. I was ready to buy the damn thing - it’s a great unit if someone could squash it in a few feet for me.
The flex suite makes so much sense to me. Desk space is important but unless you’re single, having a somewhat private space separate from your “coworker” is equally important and you don’t see a lot of manufacturers thinking in that way.
Great new Ember model...even if it's not a "new" floorplan in the industry. But I couldn't figure out how they fit all of that in the same length as their biggest Overland Series model, so I checked and realized that you have a typo in the length...it's 35' 10" not 25' 10". I like the light wood cabinets, but those insets look like 1950's stereo speaker cabinet covers...I'm not a big fan of that decor choice. Anxious to see the video on the 2024 improvements to the Overland Series...especially the 2024 221MSL.
I don’t drive a truck but do flash my headlights for trucks to signify that it is safe to merge. They seem to appreciate the gesture and flash their lights after the merge.
I almost spit my beer when i saw the tongue weight. But fair enough. It's a 5th weel with a standard hitch. The decor is perfection. Everyone needs to use this as a starting point 💯 And the windos 🤤 Reminds me of Lance so awesome job! My needs and gripes do not apply. Ember keep it up and bring things like this to the smaller modles. 🍻
Ok, I thought there's no way that's just 26'...I'd buy it in a heart beat. It's 36', which makes more sense and less of an option. Great floorplan and design though.
Another great video Josh. I saw the number of steps pretty quickly and knew this would be too tall and too nose heavy for me. I LOVE the way they did the A/C's on this and hope that trickles down to some of the other Ember Touring models. I am probably one of the few people that don't like the new windows because of my allergies and bug dislike issues, I for the most part want heavy duty screens if I am cracking window to let out the smell of something I burnt in the kitchen...lol. Which is also why I LOVE outdoor kitchens-- when you accidently leave something on too long, you don't have that smell inside to deal with. I also like the design of the bathroom/ bedroom entry's and wish more campers offered real doors instead of sliding doors. I wish one of the manufacturers would also offer an upgraded floorplan with a lower ceiling. By the time I get to a trailer that has everything I want, they are all well over 11' tall. Just to pick your brain to see if you think of anything- 50 amp service with dual A/C, outside kitchen with a sink, around 30' in length (shorter is better), theater seat and dinette (Mom's sleeping area), self leveling would be preferred, but power stabs ok, oven/ microwave/ 12v fridge for the inside kitchen, the more MAXX air fans the better, shower (no tubs please), spread torsion axles would be preferred for better stability, Queen bed for the main bed because that is what I have now in the house, roller shades instead of pleated, slide topper(s), solar w/ inverter installed, 15" or 16" tires because 14" trailer tires are hard to find when traveling, a tongue weight under 850lbs, and slam latch doors instead of the twisties. I am watching a very short list of models to see if any of them hit everything, but like you always say- "No one builds the PERFECT RV." so I am just going to have to compromise when the time comes to finally order one. I had an Ember on the list, but on that model, either 50 amp wasn't available or the tongue weight was going to be too high (I need to try to stay under 850lbs), I can't remember now. The other manufacturer I eliminated because they don't offer power stabs or auto leveling was Grand Design so if they change that, it will add a few more models for me to watch (There probably is an Imagine floorplan that would work if they would change their minds on the scissor jacks.). Oh, the reason for the power stabs/ auto leveling is I need the clearance on the bottom of the trailer. With my pull vehicle being a Durango (it is low enough for Mom to be able to get in/out) it sits fairly low so a trailer over 25' is going to pitch on terrain changes so I need all the clearance I can get so I don't rip anything off. From what I have seen, the scissor jacks hang down pretty far, AND are pushed all the way to the edges of the trailer so that is why I am shy about them. Thanks in advance and I love, love, love your videos!!!!
@@johnirwin1837 You apparently didn't read my comments very closely. I knew by looking at this travel trailer it was going to be outside of what the Durango could handle-- I was looking for advice on other makes and models.
There is a typo in the length. it is 35' 10" not 25' 10". This is too big for us but it is a nice floor plan. I really love the Euro style windows and wish all manufacturers would move to them.
Being 6’6” I approve. Most campers I hit my head on the fixtures. On the ultra budget campers like Viking or similar I can’t even stand up straight. Freedom express was really tolerable at 6’9” so 6’10” should be right as rain.
interesting air conditioner setup, would work great out here in the desert in mid summer..... mega dump in living room during the day if needed, after sun goes down change to centralized to cool bedroom before bed. everything else is quite cool, the travel access bites bird balls.... but, like any other rv, always something has to give somewhere, on this one that one thing is, you have to have all your fecal matter together before you close up, and just need to have a powered portable fridge if you must make grocery stops (many people probably already have one anyway, ) not a huge problem. can be benefits to everything being buttoned up so tight as well, can place more valuable items in that area while on the road, stopping for gas and quick sleep stops... nobody going to bother making you open your slides to rob you while there or do themselves while gone either way, they want to bounce out asap.... normally..... can still sleep outside the cracker barrel just fine.
This"HOME" is perfect the way it is, good lord, what more can you ask for??? Common floor plan, excellent execution! Love the windows!!! Holding tanks are confusing, but what can you do!!! Thanks brother!

Love the RV design of this camper . Very Nice .... No Valances yay. The word I ha e for these prototypes is Classy. Very nice Just hope the final version of these campers have shower lining glued on better.
I am really intrigued by this one! The layout is perfect, the furniture and appliances look to be decent quality, the decor is beautiful (and those lights ARE cute) but I'm a bit wary on the window/bug situation. Definitely adding it to the possible future RV list though!
What happened to the Ember with the removable bunks in the corner ?! Even though I have two 6 yr olds and myself I actually considered that model because of it's versatility! I think the model was like 19 something! I clicked on the link on that video of yours and there is zip on it! Ember has some really nice coaches and I need an RV like YESTERDAY! :(
I love those windows and shades, always have. I’m still waiting for my ideal Touring model: a little smaller, half ton towable and double bunks. The MSL is close. While the bunk system is cool, I prefer a more traditional bunk.
This this is beautiful and functional! Been searching looking at so many lately and this one definitely stands out! Definitely my favorite camper layout and esthetic!
This is pretty close to exactly what I'd be looking for. I'm not sure about the split awning though. Can you still install a slide topper over the slide awning, or does that become a problem? Regarding the plastic sink, I could see that either way. My Micro Minnie has a stainless sink in the bathroom. But the smaller bowl that Winnebago used isn't made from the same grade of stainless as the kitchen sink is. It blooms with rust constantly, and I frequently have to scrub and regrain it to get rid of it. Cheaper stainless will do that, and given that as a choice, I'd rather it was plastic...
I’ve seen where you can install a slide awning atop a slide with a sidewall awning but it can be case specific and I don’t know how the measurements work out here
@@JoshtheRVNerd Oh my gosh!!! 🤣😂. I was just wondering. You stay so busy don’t worry about my comments. You take one day off at least 🤣😂. You Da Man!!!! 😁
No way this is 26’. More like 36’. Still, add a king bed option and I would seriously consider this. Love the AC placement. Is Ember allergic to stove backsplashes? How about a vertical strip light in the pantry? Would also love to see more robust seating options instead of pleather at this price-point, not to mention the bath sink. I’d also completely redesign the island and have the flip-down side in front of the fridge to help the travel access issue. Finally, I’d also give up the washer/dryer space for more room in the shower. It’s tall enough but looks tight. Shrink that back 50%, and make the other side plain storage.
Like it allot. However why build a full size slide box that has to hold all the weight of the passengers and build it with cables. It should be rack and pinion. It will fail with cables and all that weight.
I hear that the 24BH and 28BH may have some surprises for us in the near future! I am hitting refresh faster than 17 year old me friending a girl I crushed on MySpace!
I saw it is 5 side aluminum constructed but I havent been able to find information for their method of roof construction. Any info on how they do the roof construction?
Ember REALLY NEEDS to develop their own version of the zinger 259fl in their Overland series..... go with the truma aqua go ( tankless water heater & the varioheat for furnace as well as truma ac...vented cabinet s to reduce condensation & louvered bathroom doors to also assist in winter... 1k amp hr lithium & 1200 watt solar... recliners in the living.. perfect glamping boondocker
@@BryanKrauss-u7y they each have good models for extended use and some that aren't as well suited But neither tests "further" the other Cougar and Touring Edition are pretty head to head for instance
Hey Josh use your Jedi mind power on Ember to influence them to copy & paste the Alliance 29RL.This would break them into the 5th wheel market while still Ember DNA with acrylic windows, shower miser, etc. ... However ditch the cable drive slide for rack & pinion or even go with a great alternative.. a company called Vroom.... they currently do aftermarket upgrades... that would keep the RV a lot lighter
I know they're headed that direction eventually I think they may have considered getting into FWs already but E-Series kind of took off so they're focused there for now
I really like a lot of what Ember is doing with these units. I especially like all the cabinets in the slide out above the windows. No RV owner ever has said they have too much storage. I do think they need to design a higher GVWR and get the cargo capacity of these units up. There are some real downsides to how Ember is installing their ACs. First I very much doubt that in most units the living room actually gets the least amount of airflow. I’ve seen multiple videos looking at the AC airflow mods that examine the flow at every ceiling exit and they tend to be relatively uniform. Which means the space with the most ducts gets the most air when in ducted mode. Second the dump feature is actually a pretty ineffective was of cooling the trailer given that it’s turbulent airflow and a chunk of it just gets recirculated. Third having the second AC and it’s thermostat in the bedroom allows you to zone the unit with the the ability to set different temps in both rooms if you so desire. A feature we use a lot since my wife and I like a cold bedroom. Finally having the AC above the bed means when I open the dump on it I get air blowing right down on us which we like when we sleep. So on balance the best way to cool a camper is to be in ducted mode (especially with an airflow mod installed) which renders the location of the AC units moot. And having it in the bedroom does offer other advantages.
Also, very glad they do not use the window boxes. Those are absolutely ridiculous while traveling down the road. I’ve had them completely fall off the wall before.
Hey Josh, I don't think I missed it, but maybe I did. Is the Water heater a tank less version? That is something I am really looking for. I want that instant on demand hot water. I love all the window coverage. I think this camper is beautiful. I run into the problem of where do we put the Trike, lol. But this one is in my top 5 currently.
So if I optioned on the Max solar package and decided to go Boondocking and filled up the water, I might have 600 pounds of cargo availability left. It doesn’t seem much for a trailer so large and please I wish we had a real ladder.
Really well-made RV. What is the suspension on this. Overland of course has great suspension set up for off grid. Also I didn't see any slide toppers on the slides.
I’m not in sales myself but our team at www.bishs.com/contact-us can assist with figures We can ship to us exit ports but you’ll need to make international arrangements from there
Tell them need an option the slide open window. These windows don't work for skeeter country. Everthing else is fantastic. Love the interior colors &c materials. Maybe lose the pleather. I hate that stuff
These are definitely great floorplans with incredible quality standard features and the murphy bed/office space offers incredible versatility👍I’m just a little concerned that the $70,000 starting MSRP will scare away more than a few customers😢
My 2017 Grand Design 5th wheel at 36" was around 61K MSRP. So a 9k increase in 6 and a half years is not to bad considering the construction materials difference.

I’ve seen where you can install a slide awning atop a slide with a sidewall awning but it can be case specific and I don’t know how the measurements work out here
Thanks Nuurd!
Thanks for your response Josh. Cheers Mark
Any time!
Window over the bed might work up North but I’m wondering if it’s going to turn it into a hot greenhouse in the South
I lack any owner feedback to give you an idea on that I’m afraid
It is 35’10” not 25’10”
Typing error on my part
Pantry lighting is a very reasonable ask.. Ty
Like it allot. However why build a full size slide box that has to hold all the weight of the passengers and build it with cables. It should be rack and pinion. It will fail with cables and all that weight.
NAILED IT.
😊
I do like hoping they come to Nashville TN show in January...❤..Tk u
Their social media folks often advise when they’re attending events form what I’ve seen
@@JoshtheRVNerd tk you for the reply
A 5th wheel like that from Ember would be a sale to me.
.
Maybe in time!
Really like this, is it a 4 season trailer?
All embers are tested and proven 0-100 degree functional
I wonder if you could replace the fridge with a freezer on the bottom style and be able to open it in travel mode?
It would be nice if the tables for the Murphy bed could also work in the main living area.
Still holding out hope Ember builds a Touring 28MSL some day!
I hear that the 24BH and 28BH may have some surprises for us in the near future! I am hitting refresh faster than 17 year old me friending a girl I crushed on MySpace!

28msl logically would follow

Josh please let me know when you’re going to convince them to make a couples twin setup! I love these guys! #couplescamping #twinbeds #joshthervnerd
Already done. The new 240TKR. I have video coming as soon as they get me specs
I saw it is 5 side aluminum constructed but I havent been able to find information for their method of roof construction. Any info on how they do the roof construction?
Very nice unit, now will they offer the same unit with a twin bed option.
Well.. maybe.. they just came out with their first one in the overland series. It’s possible that may be a thing they do
Ember REALLY NEEDS to develop their own version of the zinger 259fl in their Overland series..... go with the truma aqua go ( tankless water heater & the varioheat for furnace as well as truma ac...vented cabinet s to reduce condensation & louvered bathroom doors to also assist in winter... 1k amp hr lithium & 1200 watt solar... recliners in the living.. perfect glamping boondocker
That could be great
Why dont they make that a desk murphy bed
Could work really well actually
Can that be updated to do that
Is ember or keystone better for a four season full time living?
@@BryanKrauss-u7y they each have good models for extended use and some that aren't as well suited
But neither tests "further" the other
Cougar and Touring Edition are pretty head to head for instance
id love this rv if it had a residential fridge but i can make do
Hey Josh use your Jedi mind power on Ember to influence them to copy & paste the Alliance 29RL.This would break them into the 5th wheel market while still Ember DNA with acrylic windows, shower miser, etc. ... However ditch the cable drive slide for rack & pinion or even go with a great alternative.. a company called Vroom.... they currently do aftermarket upgrades... that would keep the RV a lot lighter
I know they're headed that direction eventually
I think they may have considered getting into FWs already but E-Series kind of took off so they're focused there for now
I like it, except having to open the street side kitchen slide to get to the fridge. Deal killer
When will we get to see the rest of the new 2024 models?!?! I’m so excited!!’
I haven't been able to cover them quite yet but I have the 24MSL and 33MKS coming!
You haven’t set foot in the 240TKR yet?
#NerdHerd 🎉 😊 🎉
18:03 do they still offer that original tongue jack they came out with in the beginning? Thanks Josh
You mean like on the overlands?
Those are smaller and have that power jacks up front
These are heavier and that Jack can’t handle it
@@JoshtheRVNerd that answers it. Thank ya Josh
Also, very glad they do not use the window boxes. Those are absolutely ridiculous while traveling down the road. I’ve had them completely fall off the wall before.
Left backslash stove! Other that good layout..you could take out island in kitchen.
👍🏻
Do they have a desk Murphy bed option
Yes that’s the 29MRS shown in the video
@@JoshtheRVNerd I mean with out a love set an actually desk version
I like it. Will the Bish's store in Anderson carry these?
I don’t think we have them in Anderson but not far north to our southern Michigan store which has ember
Ok Thanks. But we live 60 miles south of Indy So going to Michigan would be an all day haul.@@JoshtheRVNerd
🇺🇸 *Interior and exterior materials and colors are FAB* !! So happy for camp side windows that OPEN* !! #JoshTheRVNerdAtBishsRV 🇺🇸
I may not have mentioned it specifically. That's a gas/elec model
Torsion Axles and suspension on these
Slide awnings can be applied
Nice RV, thanks for sharing. What price range and will they export to NZ? Cheers
I’m not in sales myself but our team at www.bishs.com/contact-us can assist with figures
We can ship to us exit ports but you’ll need to make international arrangements from there
Tell them need an option the slide open window. These windows don't work for skeeter country. Everthing else is fantastic. Love the interior colors &c materials. Maybe lose the pleather. I hate that stuff
What kind of roof is the Rock wood 2022 2608bs made of . And what type of sealant do you recommend for that type of RV. That don't need a primer
Laminated roof construction. Membranes sometimes change but was tpo last I knew
Endless water?
Seems like Ember is having some quality control issues ! I hope this is just growing pains.
Great floor plan....but hard no with the theatre seating
Available hide a bed
But I am fully aware of your preferences by now. Ty sir
So, Uncle Josh, does this trailer come with a bed other than a "Murphy" bed? 🤔
@@Erin-Thor Oh thank you my friend, I guess being old, I just spaced out, thank you for being young and alert! 👵🖐

Hey Josh, embers website says this bad boy is 35'10". Can you please confirm the length??
Typo on my part
No problem man.
@@johnirwin1837 A 30’ RV from a company that is only a couple of years old that has had more quality control issues and costs $10,000 more than current “similar” Grand Design RVs is a little concerning to me but I have no problem with anyone who wants to spend their own money on one👍
