Beach hut has got to be in there for me.
To my nose, Interlude Man (oregano not cumin) and Interlude Black Iris are entirely different frags, and I love them both. The OG IS oregano, and it works in a beastly fashion. Black Iris wants to go on a date, and it rocks. If you are into layering, try a bit of Black Iris on top of TF Black Orchid. Magnificent.
Jubilation XXV is a masterpiece
Great series. Keep it going for all designer - niche. Thank you / love from Ireland.
I totally agree on these as a start. Reflection 45 is also a must of possible. Material is my everyday and now I mix it with Royal Tobacco or Vanilla Barka.

My absolute mental pick is Overture. Not for the faint of heart but damn its good.
Best Amouage fragrances I’ve tried so far are reflection 45, Epic man, Honour man, jubilation 25, and the hidden gem dia man the white cap
I have Amouage Black Iris Interlude, Jubilation XXV and Myths Man and I love every single of them 🤩
Interlude black iris is one of the only fragrances that actually makes me gag and feel sick. Stuff is nasty and I haven't met a single girl that likes the stuff either, they equally as disgusted. Maybe wear it for your own enjoyment but avoid wearing it in public

Black Iris grew on me no lie. Reflection is still my favorite. I don’t remember how Journey smells so i gotta revisit that. Honestly i think my first one that I’ll be purchasing will be Enclave just for that minty note!

I got Black Iris today... didn't like it when I smelled it in the store, but a year or two later my nose has matured or something because this feels extremely wearable, relaxing and almost edible.
I totally agree with your list. I like Bracken Man also. As for Black Iris, would be #2 on my list. They took out the oregano note. Just love it
I only have Journey Man and it may be my top 5i in 122 bottle collection. Need reflection man. Interested in overture man also.
Get your hands on a bottle of Amouage Vanilla Barka, make sure you buy it on sale though like for black friday or boxing day sales or christmas
I'd go with Reflection Man, Jubilation 25, Sunshine Man, Opus VI and Figment Man (as a wild card)

Nice review of some easy go-to Amouage frags. No arguments on your selection for intro frags. Overture Man is my favorite and is NOT a go-to for those new to the house. I love Black Iris as well as Interlude Man. If you want to soften up Black Iris even a bit more, try layering it (lightly) with TF Black Orchid. Date night panty dropper.
I started with Reflection Man,and 45 I liked it. I going and waiting on it Royal Tabaco.
Try Alexandria fragrances “the run way” smells different and deserves to be an amouage reflection flanker that is how good it is
I love this house and as much as I love Meander, because I really do, the performance is lacking on my skin. I can never say this for the other Amouage’s I have. I will keep wearing it though always keeping it in the back of my head that it will not last hours and hours like the others in the line do. Especially interlude…that s*&t don’t play lol

I have 14 Amouage fragrances but I hate all the versions of Reflection Man and Interlude Man and don't have them lol. The fragrances I would recommend are Dia Man, Beach Hut Man, Boundless, Epic Man, and Portrayal.
I have five Amouage fragrances. Interlude Black Iris, Fate, Journey, Jubilation XXV and Beachhut . Love them all. Fate is my favorite. Ginger Immortale , cumin, licorice , saffron and incense. It’s fantastic!
Fate Man screams Amouage, love it. Designer heads and pineapple lovers have a hard time wrapping their minds around the notes. Fate Man is awesome.
Black Iris works well in spring and early summer nights. 2 sprays max if you dare to wear it. And I prefer Gold Man over the current Jubilation 25.

Dont agree with Reflection giving „no le male vibes whatsoever“. It’s 100% in the same ballpark and has easy 60-70% similarity. Sweet base with sandelwood check, white floral heart check, herbal top with different green herbs check. That’s le male right there. Sweet minty aromatic and woody. It’s not the same but it’s the same genre/ballpark and shares a lot of similarities. Also i love le male but dont like reflection at all for the first hour until it dries down and the herbs settle. I love jubilation and looking to get my hands on journey next.

My two all-time favorite Amouage (and they would both make my top ten of all time) are Gold Man and Gold Woman... I know they're kinda retro (I'm no spring chicken myself) but they are soooo classy and gorgeous...!!
I think Reflection 45 is apparently better to start with than original Reflection man. Just because it's more sweeter and less feminine
Also I'd say Beach Hut would be my 2nd choice for amouage fragrances to start with
Heard good things about Dia man, Sunshine man and Jubilation but haven't tried those yet
Amouage vanilla barka is by far the best amouage fragrance, only problem is it's not a spray it's an oil that only comes in 12ml bottle for over $700 and you use an oil dropper to apply it to pulse points on the body. I wish they make a spray for it and turn it into a parfum or something because it's easily the best

I hate Interlude Black Iris. It smells exactly like a herbal shampoo in India. Why would I pay to smell like a shampoo. It is overly sweet and nauseating. I always hated that shampoo.
