Today I want to do a overview of a popular and also of my all time favorite niche fragrance house: Amouage.
Founded in the Sultanate of Oman in 1983 to be "The Gift of Kings", this house redefined the Arabian art of perfumery.

I also love Amouage. Interlude, Reflection and Lyric were my first Amouage decants. I was quite impressed! Epic is too spicy for me. Memoir was my favourite for sometime. Dia is terrific, also. I have to test Sunshine again. Amazing video, my friend! Abraço.

I love Amouage fragrances, it's my number one niche house: the packaging, the bottle + cap and the juice quality is absolutly top.
My Amouage collection: Interlude Man, Lyric Man, Jubilation XXV Man, Reflection Man, Beach Hut Man, Sunshine Man, Figment Man, Epic Man and Honour Man.
On my buying list is Interlude Black Iris and Overture Man.
I love them all but Interlude Man, Jubilation XXV Man and Figment Man are my favorite fragrances.

Great video. I really like Amouage. My favorite is Bracken Man, but I also currently own Reflection, Honour, Beach Hut and Jubilation XXV. Once the Scent Bar in LA is open again, I need to get up there and try Lyric, Sunshine and a few others.
I'm a big fan of the house so it's great to get your thoughts on so many of them , dia / gold and fate man are my 3 favourites from the men's side 👑

Great collection brother. Interesting fact: I prefer the women versions of some of the amouages: lyric, interlude, sunshine and epic woman are stellar and super unisex imho. My favorites are still Beach Hut Man and Jubi XXV Man. Glad to see you back.

How would you compare the men's version of Lyric to the version for women?

7K subs great to see your channel is doing great bro hope you get to 10k by end of this year and amouge sillage is it really as good as you heard. I haven't bought anything from this house but I wanted your advise. Also I hope their oud is done more in European style because I smelled out perfumes that smell anamalic not wearable in my opinion
So far have smelt Lyric, Gold and Beloved man and I actually like all three. From woman’s collection have tried Honour. Amouage is definitely an outstanding niche brand ❤️
Never smelled Beloved, or least don't remember if I did 😅
Also need to explore the woman versions. The only one I tried was Sunshine Woman and it is delicious 😍

Great list BTW and please also try beach hut, beloved and honor man and opus 1 - 6. One of my favorite houses but they also have a log of offerings I hate like fate, gold, figment and imitation.
Jubilation my favourite by far. followed by Reflection, Memoir, Lyric, Interlude and beach hut
The most prominent notes in Sunshine Man are Immortelle and Vanilla with a bit of Lavender in the opening. Very powdery fragrance.

I feel you brother! There are still a couple of Grey sites here in Europe that still have some "affordable" Amouage fragrances (perfumesclub.com and perfumedigital.es come to mind)

Wow I didn't know Overture was now available everywhere. I just bought my second bottle from Harrods a few months ago after decanting out the first one. Excellent scent...I love Overture. By the way DUA made a clone called Harmony and it's quite good as well.
My favorite niche house right next to Roja Parfums. My 4 favorite scents from Amouage are Bracken, Jubilation XXV, Epic and Memoir
i had a sample of Gold, very powdery almost Chypre on me. I have to go back to it. I wanna get Overture man and Portrayal. Overture is now available worldwide and my buddy Dave from Scented Memories gifted me a sample and that stuff is just out of this world strong.

@@GamedogLounge At first it felt overpowering dark ashy incense, but with time I am able to enjoy the other notes as it develops on skin with the lavender and bitter/dryness the wormwood and all that it's a fun experience definitely more moderate or cold weather in my opinion. I have nothing like it and it's extreme contrast makes it an enjoyable new experience in my fragrance journey. I wouldn't wear this everyday it's definitely got that darker mood about it. I also love the bottle presentation and now tempted with Imitation Man because of possible discontinuation
You mentioned the animalic aspect of Gold Man, without specifically mentioning the civet. To me, the civet is HUGE.
You should try Beach Hut man.
I didn't like it at first, but because of the clean fresh mint, it is my most used Amouage fragrance in this hot summer.
.... and Beach Hut man is more similar to Le Male due to the mint.... certainly more than Reflection man.

Gotta cover Bracken Man my man. In my opinion the best Amouage I've tried. And probably the most photorealistic Fougere ever.
Never tried them but i want to get the sunshine man loveeeee lavender in fragrances i think it’s very manly because it’s calming and a man should be calm and controlled by his own way of being
I love Memoir Man and does anybody else get a "Mint Chocolate Chip" Ice cream vibe to it? I also wish that it projected a bit more and lasted longer on my skin! Great video, thx

Great video thank you. I also watch to much reviews and blind bought a bottle of the Lyric man I wasn't impressed, I guess that's why we all different here. I could never call it a "masculine rose" if there ever existed one. I like these much better Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme and Anonyme Extrait, Gucci Guilty 2020 edp version, Tom Ford Noir De Noir, but again this is me.
Memoir man my favourite.... but I blind bought EPIC man and it has blown my socks off....
Gold Man is my favorite.

Your rite amouage jubilation 25 is kinda dominated in frankense big time all of my Moroccan friends go nuts when I wear this scent mostly the woman ...I've been told when they smell it "" it reminds them of like a rich classy dressed guy IDK" but it's a big hit😉

Lyric man is basically feminine frag. At most you can call it unisex. For me the best masculine scent having rose in it is L'eau D'issey Pour Homme Or Encens.
It has Rose but is rich in rasin, incense and wood.
As for Journey man it's my favourite winter frag. I am getting loads of Sichuan pepper which I love and later loads of tobacco with cypriol and smoky spices. This goes into sweet vibe but from tobacco and tonka.
Leather here is basically unnoticeable. Probably they have used birch bark to imitate this but incense is more dominant.
I have 2016 bottle and it's massive performance. New batches are not worth half of the money. Unless they will improve when macerated somewhere in the bottle.I have a feeling that with new management Amouage will go in other(bad in my opinion) direction.
I’m glad to see Gold Man FINALLY getting some love. Gold Man is VERY strong on me. How many hours of longevity are you getting from Gold and Jubilation?

I seem to go thru "spells" following certain houses. Now I am following Amouage. I have bought Arab clones of Epic Man and Interlude Man because my money was short. But a friend of mine that has both says my clones are "spot on". But I wanted the real scent. So I saved and more importantly SEARCHED and found less expensive ones. Now I also have Beach Hut man, and just last night ordered Lyric man and Jubilation XXV. I have alot of designer fragrances that smell nice but are not "captivating ". Niche (atleast the ones I have) are very much so. I guess you can call me a collector..I don't know. I Now have over 300...but I cannot fight the urge. I can slow it down but I can't kill it.
All fantastic choices. I dont get why/how people think reflection is that close to le male 🤷♂️ the compositions are completely different reflection is a woody floral musk absolutely beautifully blended and le male is more of an aromatic fouger with like mint, lavender, vanilla and coumarin...completely different.
They smell similar in the opening but go a different direction after that.
Amouage really are the greatest imo, along with Guerlain. I own 23 Amouage & looking to pick up more. Some others worth getting, in order of my personal preference are -Imitation, Beach Hut, Opus VI, Myths, Bracken & Portrayal. Fate & Figment are masterpieces too, but can be challenging for some, although I love wearing them & get good reactions from them.

I’ve recently smelled Interlude man. It was the first and only Amouage I’ve smelled and I like it. In short, to me it smells like shisha pipe, but of course with a lot of depth and complexity. Honestly I like it, but I think it can get annoying over some time.
I’d love a more in depth review of Lyric man, it sounds so unusual and interesting based on the notes, unfortunately I can’t find it to give it a sniff.

It is a clean, heavy, soapy Rose Perfume. You have to love rose perfumes to love lyric man or woman.
You have to be careful with Jubilation though. People with strong arm pit smell can be emphasized by this smell... super unpleasant in the summer when my coworkers wearing it. ..

I got 2 complements with interlude I’m waiting for gold.
Memoir Man smells like Van Gogh in a bottle. Wormwood like the absinthe he drank, dark and light green herbaceous smells like the greens in his art, melancholy like he was, earthy and in a way, smells like centuries past. England/Ireland/Scotland/Netherlands or other places in Europe in the 1800's and early 1900's. Traditional clothing from that era. Corduroy, Gatsby hats. People riding around on early bicycles from that time. Green rolling hills and pastures with grey skies above. Only gas lighting and candles at night. I imagine a Van Gogh type. A depressive/brilliant artist coloured by all the imagery I described, walking through the world with only his own sad and beautiful thoughts for company.
I love wearing Fate Man. It smells unisex to me so I can easily wear this with ease.

What year is your Jubilation 25? Mine is 2021 but doesn't last a shi... 2-3 hours and then skin scent
Overture is stunning, in my opinion it rivals Interlude in terms of power, projection and class however the overall vibe is more sophisticated, smooth and sexy, not as brash or loud as Interlude. Interlude is a Tiger, Overture is the Panther.
Does Amouage changed the bottles a bit?
I just got Lyric Man and Interlude Man and both doesnt have the name written between the bottle and the cap.
My interlude has the name between the cap and bottle but not on the side if bottle.
...same here . also back in the day each bottle was accompanied by a small signed thank you card

Bracken, Fate, Honour, Beach Hut, Figment, Boundless and Material missing from this list. Agree on Jubilation, Memoir and Interlude. The others are way too floral and feminine.
My Memoir Man is new, in a new box. Fantastic packaging. Chamomile tea is stronger than this perfume.
