I have a deep love for the fragrance House of Amouage. I find that their fragrance's are incredibly complex and staggeringly diverse.
If you're new to the House of Amouage, then these are two amazing fragrances for men or woman that you need to go out and test for yourself.

Self proclaimed Amouage Fan Boy BUT for some reason, I seldom reach for Epic Man. Yet, every time I wear it, I wonder why I don’t wear it much more often! 🤷🏽 In fact, I’m wearing it today and loving it. Loving it so much that I had to turn to a trusted nose in order to better understand why I might love it so. You two nailed it. So many Reviewers refer to it as animatic and challenging and beast mode. I get fresh, piney, & incense goodness. If I still believed in signature scents, this could be one! Taking a mini vacay (long weekend) and might wear this again for travel day. PS- My thoughts for today were this or King Blue…glad I chose Epic Man

And yes, Epic Man is like a loved and trusted friend. You might see each other for months or years, but as soon as you connect together; you pick up where you left off and wonder (as you did) "why don't we hang out more often??!"

This is so cool I just got mine today I was definitely expecting something more green and peppery but on the opening I got a warm saffron menthol incense type of smell will update in a bit as I just sprayed it on. Does anyone else get this sweetness on the opening? The reviews had me ready for an exciting polarizing pepper bomb opening but this is nice as well.
epic is one of my all time favorites. its very masculline, classy but with a touch of new age. powerful and mature. i love it and I think you described it very acurately as you always do!!

Thanks for this profund description of this wunderful fragrance. I love wearing it, its very fresh with a warm hint and lifts me up into a comfortable feeling. In the drydown it comes to a woodsy-peppery skinscent that stays for hours. Its a true masterpiece, sportive and sophisticatet. Best wishes to you and your sister!

Another great job. Epic.is the 💣. My first ever bottle, I dropped on the carpet breaking the atomiser. It was with great trepidation I decanted aiming not to still a drop of the previous elixir as it was an expensive purchase all those years ago ( and still is, Amouage hold their price unless you can find a bonus sale somewhere. I really like epic man . Definitely has some punch and so it should . If I’m paying them prices I want something with presence epic man definitely ticks that box . Nice review guys 👍

I love most of the notes in Epic Woman, but I cannot get past the Caraway Seed. 😔

I (as a man) just purchased the women’s version after smelling it at Neiman Marcus. I had no idea it was a women’s fragrance until I looked at the receipt and it said Amouage Epic for Ladies on it. I’m tempted to possibly bring it back and exchange it for the men’s version or compare both.
In my opinion Epic Woman can be worn by a man. It does have rose and jasmine in the heart but it's not over the top or too feminine floral....there's enough going on with the spice and ambers that it does play well on a man.
When Amouage created the Man and Woman in this range it was about pairing fragrances (creating a duet) so that couples can compliment their scents as they wore it together.
Epic Man is a lot spicier, with more pine/balsamic notes.....personally if you tested and enjoyed Epic Woman, I would stay with this one....don't be put off by the name; go with the scent.

Nice! I’ve been wearing Epic quite a bit this autumn, along with Portrayal. Both perfectly placed between Amouage’s more potent wallpaper peelers and their more subtle offerings. Love it 😊👍

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Haha - thanks Marcelo. I would say vintage Interlude AND Overture (which I love)! Believe it or not, I am actually wearing Black Iris this very moment 😊
With Black Iris, I find the bracing opening quickly (5 mins in) gives way to the Amouage DNA found in some other offerings, so it might not be unique enough to be a keeper. Have yet to decide on it though, as this is my first cold weather season wearing it.
I think Interlude 53 will be a peeler for sure! 😉
I’m yet to experience Interlude 53 but yes, have a feeling this one will stay on skin for the week…..I get a comfortable 24 hrs with normal Interlude💥 (so I can only image)….funny Black Iris didn’t resonate with me as much. I found the same as you. It wasn’t different enough from Interlude, that happy to stay with the original…..but as mentioned keen to try 53🤩

Hey Marcelo, which amouage would you recommend for an all season work signature scent? I work outside as a trackman for the railway across Canada.
Hey Mike, awesome that we're connecting from across the globe! I really would recommend to you Epic Man. For me this fragrance performs well in all seasons and holds up well when I'm on the move.
If you want the ultimate in 'Beast Mode' then Interlude Man is a powerhouse. However this one can take a bit of getting use to. It's very unique but also polarising fragrance, but people can smell this fragrance even through face masks!
I'm also a big fan of Memoir Man, which is a wonderful fougere (aromatic, woody) but on me this doesn't have huge projection, but I don't care because I can smell it and I totally love it.

• Epic man for the colder months, would love to get my hands on Memoir and interlude. Jubilation is on the list aswell.
•Beach Hut Man for the Warmer months, hoping to get elysium, I have a fair amount of creed. Geen Irish Tweed is getting swapped out with Beach hut man during spring for sure.

Love Beach Hut and yes, Spring/Summer is a perfect fit. Not sure about Elysium for you being that you work outside?? I feel that this might get lost in the constant 'open air', whereas Beach Hut will hold it's own or even Hacivat by Nishane will also hold it's own in the open.
And yes Memoir Man is awesome but also be aware that it's not a huge projector in the open air (if that's what you want).

Hey there @salie sober, I would recommend to test first. Yes, Epic Man is a wonderful strong masculine scent but maybe there’s something in the fragrance that doesn’t resonate with him??
Out of interest what other perfumes does he have that he likes and that you like on him….maybe I can make some suggestion of perfumes you guys can test out

Tested today. Sprayed at 7.30am and I'm officially writing here at 9pm and I can still smell Epic on me....to the point that I caught up with my daughter an hour ago and she instantly said "love your perfume".
Full projection, strong sillage till about 5pm with 2 compliments coming my way today😎

Not sure what I received but this stuff is weak in the winter hardly a skin scent can’t relate to what you are describing No oud or notes you describe maybe I will try in the summer months
Hmmmm, not sure why this might be happening for you? Is it a decant?
You should see if you can find it in a retail store and spray side by side (one on each arm)....see how they stack up against each other.

Epic Man has caraway and castoreum. Those are red flag notes for me. Like the warning from a rattlesnake's rattle. Caraway is known for a cumin-like "body odor" accord, and castoreum of course for animalic funk. I'm sensitive to both accords. I'm a FragWimp. "Challenging" to me tends to equate to "bad". But occassionally these notes are done with care and can be at least palatable. I've never smelled Epic Man so I don't know about this one.

Nahhh the smells is so gooood. Smells of wealth . Dont let the notes haunt you. Get a sample. Its a bottle worthy. I ordered another bottle of Epic Man although i had a bottle of 90ml liquid still . smells of rich people although im not rich haha
