- Vijay Kedia Interview LIVE: Watch Vijay Kedia live as markets erase the election day losses.
Benchmark equity indices recovered from their losses on the counting day and recorded their highest close as heavyweights led the rally. Sensex also hit an intraday high of 76,795.31. The Nifty closed at 23,290.15, up by 468.75 points or 2.05% and the Sensex closed at 76,693.36, higher by 1,618.85 points or 2.16%. On a weekly basis, the Nifty gained 3.37% and the Sensex gained 3.69%.

Please stop thinking that common people are dumb. Don't try to make us understand anything. The real question is if Amit Shah's investment suggestion coupled with the nonsense exit poll results was something like a pump-and-dump strategy for two days. 1) Is Amit Shah a SEBI-registered analyst? Does he have the right to suggest anything about the stock market? Why would a central minister ask the common people to buy the market on a certain date? How can anyone on earth say for sure whether the market will go up or down? Is there anything guaranteed in the market? Then what right did Amit Shah have to ask people to buy? 2) Everything from ED to CBI to Media is controlled by the central government today. Today mainstream media is left with just one job--to spread the narratives set by the central government or the ruling party. In a situation like this, when the mainstream media collectively spread an utterly nonsense exit poll result in favour of the existing government, of course that will be questionable from every possible perspective. This is a legitimate question if the ministers of the existing government and the mainstream media pumped the market deliberately on the day before the election result when they knew very well that the market is going to be dumped on the following day when the truth of the election comes out. It could be done for various reasons: it could be done to give some high profile people good exits from the stocks that used to come under the BJP theme, like the PSUs, or the Adani ones, or the defence, or the infra etc. We cannot reach the truth like this, but this logical question cannot be dismissed. And please don't try to tell us that the market rose once again to all time high in a couple of days. It doesn't matter. At one point, Nifty was down by more than 8% on the election result day. And that is not normal--far from being normal. Of course many many retail investors did panic selling on that day and lost heavily. And what can I say about the loss of any retail trader who sold puts on the previous day! What is lost is lost on that day. And how rubbish was this point that it was only the FIIs who lost heavily on that day! What is heavy for FIIs is unimaginable for retailers, but for retailers, even 5L, 10L, 15L is also very very heavy. Yes, such amounts do not move the market, but when retailers lose such amounts, it does move them from inside. Thankfully I never got caught in the BJP trap for a single day, I never invested in the BJP-themed stocks, I never took positions in F&O, particularly based on the BJP narratives spread by the mainstream media, so I was not hurt on that day. But it did hurt a lot of common people very very badly. Yes, stock market can be extremely volatile, but if it is induced by central ministers and the mainstream media, that cannot be justified in the name of the volatility of the stock market.
can someone have the guts to reply to this??. VK is not the right person to ask this question. he is a multi millionare and not affected. what about small retailers who lost their savings in these kind of propaganda by ruling party and exit polls.
@@vargheseantony9136 lol I've been investing in this market for over 4 yrs now and something I'd like to mention.. Nobody forced retailers to invest their own money... it's our decision at the end of the day if we want to invest or not. Stop saying it a scam continuously. Also if you look at the data , On 3rd june it was the retailers who booked most of the profits while FIIs bought(short covered) and on 4th of June Retailers bought a net of over 21k Crores and it was retailers who are sitting at profit right now. Yes I agree nobody should advice anyone about any shares but you can't just simply blame someone else for advising shares. If you are such an idiot to just listen to an interview and buy shares because of that it's your fault too.. afterall no one's forcing. If you're in profit ,it's yours and if it's loss it's also yours.. have patience and all the stocks would go up and stop saying everything a scam..this is how a market works (but yes I believe SEBI should atlease bring some way to show from now on the details of bulk deals on their websites so as to know who do the trades in bulk)
