- This short video discusses my personal favorite Handgun size when it comes to semi autos. I call it the commander size which is a full size frame amd a shortened slide.
A lot of people take a crap on the 19X for the wrong reasons. They complained they wanted the short frame with the long slide and now that it’s out no one really pays attention to it. Coincidentally I think the 19X / G45 carry very well concealed with the right belt & holster
I think it is the 2nd best glock ever made. Thanks for watching
@@TerryBentonwhat’s the first? 19?
I have a 19x and as much as I like it I think I’m gonna sell it to get a the 45 from my understanding the 45 is everything the 19x is but you get a normal magazine well and the RDO cut on the slide heck who knows maybe I might just keep the 19x and just add another one to the collection with the 45MOS idk times are tough right now and I also want to add a model 19 or 586 to my collection
@@Johnny-jr2lq gotta love those S&W’s! I just got a Model 27, love it. I don’t know man, my experience with both the 45 & 19X is the grip cut out on the 19X didn’t affect me or my shooting. I could barely tell it was there. I recommend if you can live with it you just have the slide milled by C&H. They even sell high quality irons for cheap.
What's good Terry Benton I pray u haveing a awesome day great video I'm thinking of getting me a 1911 in 45 one day not sure which one I want
Thank you for the kind words. You will never regret getting your first 1911. They have the best trigger if any handgun you will ever fire. Thanks again for watching.
You have such an amazing collection of guns brother 🔥 Very impressive
@unclerenatch3388 thank you for watching. I have a variety of different guns. Firearms are a hobby for me. Glad you enjoy them.
Glock people arguing about the slide is due to the base Colt model manufacturing concept of the full size slide as the most ideal for .45 caliber is due to increased recoil jams if the slide is shortened or lengthened for that matter.
Although the Sigs solid steel slide is shortened it does have an increased slide width and height for recoil efficiency to offer less jam rates but also offers less jam rates as well as stable velocity due to the quality components and precision sniper rifle style milled slide piece molding ! So it’s all dependent on design and components but I’ve always been up in arms against Glock slides in general for polymer sliding on steel
rail slides being a poor long lasting design , so they aren’t meant for more than 50,000 or more rounds fired for furthermore reliability rebounding
Awesome 👏 I like the topic
Great discussion vid Terry🎉
Thanks Again To You Sir !
You are 100 percent correct. U til sort of recent times the 1911 always had problems when the slide was shortened past 5 inches. Higher end companies like Wilson has put the research I to making them worm. I would still not go with and officer's model (3") I think you are asking for trouble then. Thanks for watching
@@TerryBenton too 😎 cool Terry Thank You!
On your G26 vs 43x.. you said you wanted to hear from people.. THEN YOU TURNED OFF COMMENTS.
Makes no sense.
I do not believe I have ever turned off thr comments to any video unless it was accidental. I will surely check it right now. Thanks for telling me. I always want to hear from people
You are correct. For some reason the comments were turned off. That is now corrected. Thanks again for bringing that to my attention
Yes the comments are doing something stupid again. Not just on Terrys channel it’s happening to other channels i watch and comment on as well
