Lovely cover learning song. I find it lot easier to use my fist finger on F# to play D with F# base rather than thumb over which I find a struggle. My hands are only tiny. But didn't know about muting the 5th string. Maybe Dido has bought herself pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and living it up in Miami.

There was a time I felt I would catch up and exhaust it, but that was back in 2008 Although I have given up trying to catch up, still enjoying it. But I do hope to catch up with your friend KM later this year. God willing. Although I met her once in the street in Birmingham possibly 2006 by the fountains and she helped me find my bus. I knew nothing of her at the time, only what she told me that she is from Georgia, sings and lives in London. But year or so later I saw her on your website and looked her up saw you taught her to play guitar and you were in her band. But meeting her again 2016 Leicester was like a dream. Really enjoyable to play and relatively simple apart from transition to Bm. Any tips to help moving to barre chords? Or should I be content just being able to play the alternative you suggested without having to Barre? Ps. Thank you for all the videos. practice practic,e make ur hand hurt a lot. play using just one finger, try all the way up the neck, see if you can make every note ring out. then tey with anither finger pressed down. this was 2 years ago, how did you get on?
JustinGuitar Songs Actually above the 7th It is getting the capo in the way so I might use it on purpose. :) I try to avoid putting the capo that high anyway , cause some notes get irritatingly high, others low independent of how you tune my guitar. Anyway, I've learneda lot from this video as well, though I'm into learning songs from The Doors. I'm forced to get into transcribing, cause there aren't many tutorials on it, the best is to find a good cover song interpretation with a rhythm guitar or piano, and start from there...

Problem with youtube teachers u wanna compensate all levels. And the video ends up dragging on and being useless. I just need the chords strumming pattern and to hear the rhythm. But all you tubers wanna make sure we all learn in return only the beginners learn. Literally youtube is useless to me cause i gotta skip and ultimately figure it out on my own. Isnt the teacher's fault if u have zero patience. Justun is at least among the top 3 guitar teachers online. If that isnt enough for u..u wont learn anything anyway
says the beginner who can't seem to identify basic chord shapes...and as far as strumming just simply watch and listen and voila it will come...you can even slow down the playback of the vid if you need to...
So you’re a beginner bitching about the vid being too long. If ur that good then you should be able to just watch him in the first minute of the song and see everything he does. I’m a beginner and already I could just watch him and get the gist of it, idk why ur bitching
Sorry for the rude comment earlier, but if you can’t even swap chords, how the hell are you going to play anything. Make a chord changing video, link it, and tell the people if they are having chord changing problems, then to watch that first. That way the people watching that are able to swap chords (probably a way larger audience) can actually get something, without having to stop and losing the rhythm. The worst thing anyone can do is not learn the basics first.

Not trying to be a critic, really appreciate the video, but if you should learn to swap chords before you play anything. I just kept almost going to a diff video. Or t least just give the strum pattern before all the cheats. Like I said before, the pattern is what people that can actually play it need, besides the chords.
