The four great courses in Tassie at Barnbougle and King Island are awesome of course but Tasmania in general is now often overlooked . There are 550,000 permanent residents and about 62 other courses of great variety .. There are some wonderful 18 holers , some brilliant multi tee 9 hole layouts and some dedicated 9 hole courses in little towns all over the place . In our own municipality on the upper east coast there are these ....Malahide , St.Marys , Scamander River and St Helens . In the neighbouring coastal municipality there is Bicheno , Freycinet and Swansea within one and a half hours from where I live . Leading further north there is Moorina and Ringarooma before you hit Scottsdale and Bridport where Barnbougle is . Bridport itself has a great 9 holer as does Scottsdale ...All of these are great little courses in their own way ...cheap green fees and easy to get a game on almost any day ...Great golf trip in the offing , not just the Barnbougle / K.I. courses ...
Loved your "worK" ..definitely a bucket list course ...why go to Pebble beach when we have this course here! Then fly down to Barbougle and lost Farm!!

Pebble Beach pales into insignificance compared to these courses.
