Jeez this is by far the most detailed power armor I have saw yet, I’m not kidding I actually think it’s THE best one i have saw. My helmets I’m never happy with but this one is spot on I honestly Kindve want a template of it it’s that good
I dont know why you think its not as good as you want it to be. Cmon, it models post-nuclear war armor so those "flaws" on it actually look really cool imo. I have been thinking of starting this project myself, but i have no training in craftsmanship so i need to study this a lot before proceeding. Keep up the good work!
@dreadmaster28 Bondo is a brand of auto body filler putty that many cos-players use to smooth their props. I had a tutorial on the process of how to apply it but I took it off so I'm making a new one soon.
Thanks, but I don't know if I'll ever finish the full suit. I used some stuff from a hardware store called suck pump tubing but I've also used vacuum cleaner hose before.
Thanks, I have made a few weapons over the years. The best two are my Fallout 3 Laser rifle and Blade runner pistol. And I've never been to a convention. Maybe someday.
I only used pepakura for the helmet, the rest is cardboard and foam. I just used Google for the file, but you can check out The Wasteland Outpost. They might have one.
Nope, try The Wasteland Outpost forums. They might have some. I didn't use pep files for the chest or shoulders. They were scratchbuilt from cardboard. As for the helmet, I don't have the file anymore.
If you mean a helmet, it depends on the state of completion. I usually sell raw helmet casts for about $65 plus shipping. I don't sell any armor though.
I really like everything about it. Even the emblem is AWESOME. Somehow the small flaws in it make it feel more like a FallOut setting armor, with a custom handmade emblem that the owner made - so it's not 100% perfect, you know. The damage detail and worn look details are absolutely top notch too. Damn impressive. (Oh and I noticed that Jessica Nigri had subscribed to you like 7 months ago - that's where I got here, lol. Must admit, I'm jealeous. :D haha.)
@hydrotron64 The tutorials I have on my channel follow the basic steps to make this type of armor. It's just cardboard instead of pepakura, although this helmet is pepakura.
No, this is all scratch built so I have no blue prints. As for materials, you could beef up fiberglass probably enough to do it but it would get really heavy. I'm not sure.
@Thrash441 Thanks. As of right now, I'm not selling any Fallout props. I may make one of the variants someday though and if I do I may sell some of the casts.
I didn't use any pepakura files for the chest, shoulders, biceps, or cod piece. I scratch built all those. The only thing I used pep for was the helmet and I don't have the files anymore. Try The Wasteland Outpost forums. They might have some files.
i want skill like this. Man i would love to make things like this, and get to use them! I want to buy one and try to make my own while using the purchased version as a guide
I'm a HUGE fallout fan and seeing the NCR helmet and this power helmet made me freak out. I am actually interested in getting one of your prop helmets. How much is the power helmet and how much is the NCR? I applaud you dude. Amazing, just pure amazing.
I know how heavy full metal would be but i don't like making things out of cardboard because its so light i want my crafts to have at least some weight the helmet i could just out a thin metal sheet and boom but who knows
The cardboard is pretty weighty without being too much after its coated in fiberglass and bondo. A fully detailed metal suit would be pretty cool though.
Black_Scythe Making a T-45 power armor with actual metal will be pretty heavy. Unless, like in-game, you learn how to use it because T-45 armor is used by exo-skeleton.
yes i am aware there are metals such as tin and aluminum that are light but i no longer wish to do that. I will prolly put my hate aside and make it with fiberglass and bondo fully detailed i will try i may post a vid if i finish it
Ah, I see. I'm not sure which is easier because I have limited experience with EVA foam. For me, it would be easier to do cardstock, resin, bondo, etc. because I like to be able to smooth and fill the armor/helmet. You can't do that with foam. Although, sometimes I guess with the foam you don't need to. It really depends on the armor/helmet. Some lend themselves to cardstock while others do better with foam.
have you work anymore on it i know it's a lot of work,i have a little more work on my enclave and my t51b and i will be done.i know you're will look amazing
nah its my fault, im bad at explaining, i mean is it easier to build a helmet from cardstock, resin, fiberglass, then bondo, or is it easier to cut out the pep templates, trace them on eva foam and then just bend it to the appropiate shape? also how do you make dents?
I am going to chuck a rock at that bird.
Dude I fell u man the thing is annoying
Jeez this is by far the most detailed power armor I have saw yet, I’m not kidding I actually think it’s THE best one i have saw. My helmets I’m never happy with but this one is spot on I honestly Kindve want a template of it it’s that good
you are an extremely gifted artist. Your creations are a one of a kind that look as if they are the real deal
You are an excellent craftsmen, keep up the good work.
Love it when people make things, especially when it is to such high standard. Well done!
this guy pimped out his armorer and gun nut perks
Holy shit that's one of the best t45-d power armor cosplays I've ever seen
I dont know why you think its not as good as you want it to be. Cmon, it models post-nuclear war armor so those "flaws" on it actually look really cool imo. I have been thinking of starting this project myself, but i have no training in craftsmanship so i need to study this a lot before proceeding.
Keep up the good work!
dude, that little teal stripe on all the armor pieces, makes it look sick. great job
This looks so amazing!
Respect!
Awesome creativity. The light is a nice touch too.
love it!!! yoy should probely reinforce the armor so it dont brack use foam bored thats what i would use
You my friend, have a real talent and skill towards props and costumes..
@dreadmaster28 Bondo is a brand of auto body filler putty that many cos-players use to smooth their props. I had a tutorial on the process of how to apply it but I took it off so I'm making a new one soon.
The painting looks pretty sweet in my opinion.
@warpedwiselegoman You're right and I agree. I didn't say I wouldn't finish it, just that I wasn't sure how long it would take me to finish.
Do you still have the pepakura files for the helmet? I've looked everywhere and I can't find any .pbo's for them.
That is amazing bro, keep up the good work
Loving the green detailing
you have so much talent, great work!
i have no words...awesome work!
The helmet is pepakura, the chest and shoulders are cardboard, and the biceps and cod piece are foam.
Thanks. I'm glad you like it.
@FutureMarine1775USA Thanks. I was going for the look of some armor that a wastelander has found, customized, and used a lot.
Well done dude love the helm
you truly our a freaking legend at this! wish i could make this sort of stuff!
omg dude , i love your work !!! congrats !!
Thanks, but I don't know if I'll ever finish the full suit. I used some stuff from a hardware store called suck pump tubing but I've also used vacuum cleaner hose before.
I would walk up and say "That was an explosion!"
@ThatBritishNoob Yeah, I was thinking about maybe doing a Dwarven helmet.
Awsome work! I love your builds!
Thanks, I have made a few weapons over the years. The best two are my Fallout 3 Laser rifle and Blade runner pistol. And I've never been to a convention. Maybe someday.
Awsome stuff. beta testing useing foam matt. slow going but fun when it looks right.
I only used pepakura for the helmet, the rest is cardboard and foam. I just used Google for the file, but you can check out The Wasteland Outpost. They might have one.

Thanks. Right now it's just taking up closet space but maybe I'll wear it somewhere someday.
@sarkasmi83 Thanks man. I tend to agree with you about the handmade details. They do seem add a bit of authenticity to the armor.
Id love to see a link to the patterns you used to cut out the material.
:D haha.)
They are separate. The shoulders attach to the chest with a bolt and two screws each.
Dude your really freaking good love it!!
@hydrotron64 The tutorials I have on my channel follow the basic steps to make this type of armor. It's just cardboard instead of pepakura, although this helmet is pepakura.
Super cool! Imagine that thing actualy made of metal!
[Charisma] give me that an I'll hand you 200 caps
No, this is all scratch built so I have no blue prints. As for materials, you could beef up fiberglass probably enough to do it but it would get really heavy. I'm not sure.
@Ghost8919 It's pretty durable. You could definitively wear it normally without a problem but I don't know about rolling around and doing stunts.
@Thrash441 Thanks. As of right now, I'm not selling any Fallout props. I may make one of the variants someday though and if I do I may sell some of the casts.
Impressive.Good work.
[Perception] Looks epic!
I just went for it by looking at reference pictures and things. I kept checking the size as I went.
Its still looking good dude. I wish I could make that stuff to take to Anime Iowa. =)
Good job on the suit
Man, some people are just really kick-ass at making cool shit.
I didn't use any pepakura files for the chest, shoulders, biceps, or cod piece. I scratch built all those. The only thing I used pep for was the helmet and I don't have the files anymore. Try The Wasteland Outpost forums. They might have some files.
It would be awesome if I had that armor! Liked the video :)
WOW VERY NICE GREAT WORK !!! KEEP IT UP
Well, I never say I'm done with something unless it really is, but I'm not currently working on it.
I'd like this 1000 times if I could, really good job
I really like this...it would be cool if you made a mini fallout movie...
But you did a great job...
Your really talented man! You should look into doing this for a living
I Seriously think you should make a video/use this one and send it into Bethesda, this, is amazing. :)
awesome work!
It's funny because regular people like you can make more complicated costumes from scratch than companies with everything bought for them
pretty good = understatement
Please could you send me the link? I cant find the files i've been looking for a long time now thanks
Toxic Lion did you ever find any?
Man, I bet your the envy of every fancy dress party you go to! :D
omg the helmet is amazing
Very, VERY nice. i would have like to see you put it on though. And if i had one of these i would wear it everywhere xD
i want skill like this.
Good job dude !
wish i was talented as you with making stuff like this haha,, i would totally wear that costume/ armor to Comic con, nice job tho its awesome
A while. I did some work, stopped for a while and then did some more so it's kind of hard to say exactly how long.
@ThreeCoolGamers Haha, I don't know. I do what I can. =)
Seriously? Aw man you really should! Gotta show off that awesome gear!!
could you show the full process of accutaly making this armor?
With that Suit you have an automatic pass to E3 :O I hope for a new fallout game
Thanks. I'd say it's more water resistant than water proof.
if i may suggest u may also use sintra as an alternative with cardboard it like a flat soft pvc. anyway good build gonna sub
Hell yea but it would be so heavy i like the fiberglass idea but i hate bondo
Hey man i started a 2ft statue construction made of pine and plated with metal ill send a like when the project is complete
Black_Scythe Making a T-45 power armor with actual metal will be pretty heavy. Unless, like in-game, you learn how to use it because T-45 armor is used by exo-skeleton.

You sir are a god among men

When you people put your mind to something you really achieve greatness haha
damn ,that looks good
@FutureMarine1775USA I'm right handed so I guess it would make more sense to have it on the left but it's fine where it is. Thanks anyway.
nice work
have you work anymore on it i know it's a lot of work,i have a little more work on my enclave and my t51b and i will be done.i know you're will look amazing
How did you make the lenses for the helmet?
What are you going to use for the padding inside?
Check out the Wasteland Outpost. They used to have some templates.
Looks Great!!
i wish i had this kind of talent
How the hell does this guy do it?? And btw make more :D i need to see another beauty out of your artistic mind!
You are a god amongst ghouls
in your opinion which is easier? making the helm from pepakura or using the pepakura templates to make the helmets/armor?
Youre awesome Keep up the good work!!! I have a question im really interested in your stuff is anything for sale
nah its my fault, im bad at explaining, i mean is it easier to build a helmet from cardstock, resin, fiberglass, then bondo, or is it easier to cut out the pep templates, trace them on eva foam and then just bend it to the appropiate shape? also how do you make dents?
dude that is cool af
