Most guys at lower levels, were ego is rampant. But in the pros, you have to acknowledge the elite amongst you. You see it with NBA and MLB players talking about the greats; situations where they were beat thoroughly, but it was by the best of best of the best. No one is ashamed Larry Bird or Jordan worked them. No one is salty Pedro Martinez or Randy Johnson struck them out. When you see greatness, ESPECIALLY at the highest level, the only a competitor should really feel is respect.
