I have to thank you Paul. I am taking a photography course and for extra research I have watched dozens of tutorials and yours are the easiest to understand and the ones I look forward to most for new content. I am a little late on the challenges but since I am learning about my Canon from A to Z, I am going to do all of your challenges starting at the beginning. I love the way you express yourself and teach. It has meant everything and kept my motivation to learn. Thank you.

After years of finding excuses not to spent money on camera and gear I’ve ran out of them, and watching almost all of your videos I said it’s time. Went on and bought Fuji X-T4 and opted for the FujiFilm XF 16-80mm f/4 R OIS WR lens and also grabbed a FujiFilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR. Not to mention all the extras I got (flash, filters, extra batteries and whatnot) it was a rather expensive shopping spree for me.
I’m so thankful for all the free content you are putting up online for all the noobs like me, and I’d gladly buy you a lunch, or a beer (just not Fosters).
Now am here, humbly asking if it’d be to much of a trouble for you to make a little video on Fuji cameras and their shooting modes ( aperture, shutter priority how to). These modes are so confusing. Got A, B and T on the right dial with tons of other buttons. It’s overwhelming.
Once again, can’t stress this enough - you sir are a gift.

Question for you Genius... How would I take a long exposure of the sunset or night sky, at a marina with sailboats in the harbor. I want the long exposure affect of the sky but how do I get the sharp image of the sailboats? As you can imagine, they sway in the water over time and you end up with blurry or not sharp sailboats. My uneducated answer would be two images merged together (One sharp and one long exposure). Your advice would be great. Thanks in advance

Hello. I am trying to change the ISO on my (new) D3500 so that I can do some astrophotography tonight. I have the flash setting on 20 F3.5 and I believe I need the ISO on 1600 (?)

Ignore the subject is too dark message and go ahead and take the shot. The tricky thing may be focusing if it’s that dark so try manual focus if auto focus doesn’t work. You may find you need to push the ISO higher if the image is too dark.
