Thanks again for the Triptych video. I was having an issue with an older version of Photoshop Elements. However I downloaded a free trual of Elements for 2022 ( it is good for 30 days) on my new Mac, Monterey version 12.1 and this time it did work. After trying a number of things which this newer version offers I will likely purchase it for my Mac I was also using an older Mac using the Elements but the newer Mac uses 64bit and the older version of Elements does not work on the newer Mac
David Gilbert pleased to hear that you have got to the bottom of the problem. That is the one thing that I have also experienced, software not working correctly with older OS. I have an old Mac and can not update Photoshop. I'm glad that everything is now working for you and thanks for letting me know. Cheers David
I don't use Elements much these days - I have Elements 10. But watching this, and the terrific user interface, I'm toying with the idea of upgrading. Great video. Cheers from DownUnder.
Hello DownUnder, if I remember correctly Rob Coates Elements 10 has a dark interface which was my favourite, but it's worth upgrading. Pleased you enjoyed the video :)
Thank you for this video. Your explanations are perfect. Easy to follow. Now I’m going to search for one on how to use three different photos as a triptych. I’m hoping there’s one in your library. 🤞🏻
Pleased to hear that you enjoyed the video and found it easy to follow Linda Johnston. So far I haven't produced a Triptych video using different images but I will certainly add it to the list :) David
Another great tutorial. I'd just add that the the arrow key to which you refer is on the keyboard and not an Adobe feature. Took me a while to work that one out!
Hi A. Beckwith pleased to hear that you enjoyed the video. Yes I have created a template, try removing the images and saving the template as a PSD file.😀 Hope this helps, cheers David
Pleased you enjoyed the tutorial Brian Arsenault. I have added a link in the description to the same wall that I found in Upsplash, it’s also in Pexels, Pixbay and iStock. I added a vignette to add to the impression of lighting. Worth trying other walls as well as wood for the backgrounds too. Hope this helps David
Hi Brian McCann, so when you select the crop tool and drag it over your image can you change the Grid Overlay to Rule of Thirds? Have you tried changing it to the rule of thirds before dragging it over the image? Make sure No Restriction is selected and you tool options looks like mine in the video. Hope this helps and let me know how you get on. Cheers David

My Grid options appear to stuck. I cannot move from the small grid to the Rule of thirds

Thank you David for your reply, I had the Grid selected under the View menu, working as it should now.
