Honestly. I think the VA did a great attempt at the English. It’s extremely hard to get an entire now vocabulary in while being in character. Also. The mix of English and Japanese is just adding to Pony’s charm. God knows how much I mix up my two languages in passing conversations.
When you can find a english speaking person.I literally cant understand what she's saying
If not for the subtitles I would have no clue was she was saying in the Japanese dub
I’m English and I could barely understand her in the sub. :’((
when she said thunder horn i had totally no idea what she was saying, it sounded more like feather thorn or something
For the English Dud, they could have just do the opposite way, like make Pony speak Japanese instead of English
See, this is why you dont or rather cant translate things. Because once you do it loses all meaning
Pony is supposed to be a foreigner in japan, but if you translate to english now everyone is speaking english so theres no point to pony's character.
On another note, the industry has grown a lot since this and we have gotten some VAs who can speak ok english. We also have sally who can speak fluent english which, idk why they didnt cast her for this because she was already active at this time
Any way you can upload only the edited-together version?
Pony is a sweetie. 🥰
