I don’t need this. I already have the Plus and the H. I don’t need this. I especially don’t need the GB SP Silver one. Uggghhh why do I still want it?!?
Based on what I have seen in some other reviews you should be able to tap the power button to swap the d-pad into analog stick emulation mode for games that require it.
You dont have to redo the controls if using stock os. Just quick press power button while playing any game to toggle the dpad from dpad to joystick or back to dpad
I'm waiting for my clear blue to arrive. Figured it would rival the previous Ambernic I had since it has wi-fi and bluetooth. I hope someone comes out with a clear protective shell so I can save it from constant scratches.
Some of my favorite GBA games, like Kirby’s Tilt n Tumble, WarioWare Twisted, etc. probably won’t play on this, since they have special gyroscopes and rumblers and stuff.
Did you have it on max brightness? I didn't see you toggle through the 5 brightness levels but some other channels had to leave it at 3 as they found 5 too bright
I don't like that it's emulation only i wanted to play my gameboy cartridges on it since I really like this design and I haven't been able to get the game analogue pocket guess I gotta keep waiting
^ what he said then get yourself a romcart so you have the entire library. I to love physical games. But when we can access it all at once it's much better for time. Put your licensed cartridges up and keep the preserved.
they should of made the gameboy like that. With video out. Lots of buttons. More ports of snes and nes as well. GBA tittles where pretty fun. the rpg's wow. Needed a backlight badly.
Gameboy came out in 1989. The fact it was portable was cutting edge. The GBA came out in like 2001. HDMI and HD tvs were only just starting to become affordable. No way those devices could have reasonably have video out ports at an affordable price point.
I need to tour the Anbernic factory, they seem to have endless resources and time to be turning on new models of their hardware every 4 months. As MLP would say, they don't seem to be fiddlefucking around lol
Came back to say i would most likely play GBA only on this. Let's save more demanding games for more powerful handhelds with wider resolution. Well, actually anything that was designed for 4:3 ratio. I'll stick with a modded vita and other handhelds for PSP etc.
I think I may have seen your question on another video. Mame does not have its own operating system (I believe). You could hold out for the Onion OS build that people are working on. It should be less resource heavy than the default.
@@nubatman yeah, i posted on all other vids in the hope someone responds.. thank you! the thing is the handheld electronic core uses really old dumps which are really bad image quality, while mame uses the newest dumps and high quality images to restore the games, sadly mame core isn't the best in RA

Brother it's a mouthful indeed but I love this thing, awesome honest video 🔥🔥👍🏾
I don’t need this. I already have the Plus and the H. I don’t need this. I especially don’t need the GB SP Silver one. Uggghhh why do I still want it?!?
You'll give in...I did. Lol
Fomo that's why lol
Cuz u need it
Because it’s tiny and square
I'm in the same boat. These retro handheld are like Pokemon. Gotta catch em all!

Mine just gave a shipping update in China. Please just get here alreeeeaaady 😔
Lol same

Mine arrived today, i love it. great screen and good software from factory this time around!
I hope they make one in the original gameboy advance configuration, I love the portability of the sp but I also love the ergonomics of the original
I ordered this to the UK. Cost just under $100. Should have it in a week. Can’t wait to play it

waiting for mine too!
I ordered one today before seeing this video 😄
GameBoy color scheme 💯

There's patches so you can play those using the D-pad but yeah, not the same experience
tilt n tumble is a gbc game. If you want that experience, I recommend getting an fpgbc and importing a japanese copy of the game since it's cheaper.
@@cirmothe9 Yeah, GBC game was compatible on GBA, which is the only way I ever played it.
Coming in few days 😀🕹️
I have the rg35xxH and I LOVE it!!!
NICE BALL SAVE!
I order mines two days ago how long is the wait im ready to get this in my hands
I'm going to say 2-3 weeks total to be safe. Mine is airborne based on the shipping update.
The SP form factor gives me major cramps
Try some Advil for cramps.
Does this come with the DS Pokemon games too?
What is the best Gameboy advanced emulator for playing Pokémon games on ??
im waiting for my silver 1 to come in and i also got blue for my lil brother.
9:07 push one time the power buttons to change digital to analog
interesting, thanks for the info~ Ill check it out
I wanted to say that also. They have mad some smart hotkeys.
Did you have it on max brightness? I didn't see you toggle through the 5 brightness levels but some other channels had to leave it at 3 as they found 5 too bright

Get the original SP and mod the screen to IPS. Cheaper than Analogue Pocket. andd no emulation.

Please do a full timeline breakdown of all the x anime series.
i need a console from this company
Is there any way to trade / link battle with the anbernic?
Thanks.
Got to get me one!

Will it trade Pokemon tho?
How about the buttons? Many says that it is hard to press?
And too loud. If you have a partner, forget about playing at bed.
Everyone is reviewing this one. Must be the form factor.
Please don't use the provided Roms folks. They're terrible quality and will fail on you. Tiny best set go is the way to go instead
had mine for a couple months now and my stock roms are fine, i’m ruining on stock os too, no problems yet gang
can we install standalone mame and run game & watch games? the retroarch mame and handheld electronic core aren't great
I think I may have seen your question on another video. Mame does not have its own operating system (I believe). You could hold out for the Onion OS build that people are working on. It should be less resource heavy than the default.

Still NO SKIES OF ARCADIA?? Geez I swear they do this crap to wind me up
Meh..waiting on the RG Cube 🔥
Too much tech!
I have installed Mu OS and it seems even prettier ❤❤
Werd!
I imagine using this on the toilet while i poop. That's about it. Cool showcase nevertheless.
Too expensive
Geek goo? LOL Don't punk us like that! Gross.
