the anbernic handheld line is easily one of the top when it comes to form & function for the dollar. 10/10 hand held and would recommend any one interested in portable gaming to look into the anbernic line
Yea if I didn’t already have a fully tricked out Miyoo mini+ with onion os I would definitely be getting this.
@@rfitzpatrick723 I have both, i like the MM+ better. But the clam shell is pretty cool. Curating an SD card for anbernic is so complicating. Miyoo you can just copy and paste to another sd card, anbernic you have to write disk image files with a software. Miyoo can scrape box art in the device, anbernic you have to use skraper. Miyoo boots up faster.

I got the RG35XX coming today in the mail. Can't wait to try it out tonight.
I bought one from anbernic, and amazon, the one from amazon had little felt pads on the triggers, volume, and power buttons. The anbernic didn't. So I added my own felt pads on the other sp. Also did the dpad and buttons, quieter and shorter travel. The felt padding i used is the same stuff they put on the 3d grips. The one from amazon came with 2 screen protectors.
I'm using the modded stock os which has more apps. Random boot logo is nice.

Looks like a fun little device; which I plan to get for the same reasons as well. A slight clarification of digital purchases on the 3ds. If you merge your 3ds eshop account to your switch account; your purchases would still be carried over and games you can redownload them to another 3ds device. Don't know why you have to merge it to your switch account (which is what the option is called) for this to happen, but there it is.

I really want one of these. The Miyoo Mini Plus has been great to carry around. Show up somewhere early, get a few rounds of Fire Emblem in.
I just got an SP to pair with my Miyoo. I prefer Miyoo for game boy and game boy color with realistic shaders. The SP will be mainly my GBA device
Don’t forget, for quality of life, custom firmware ALWAYS makes these devices so much better. 👌🏾

I was extremely lucky and found a Gameboy micro that thing was by far my favorite handheld. The absolute best Gameboy ever.

Great video. I got the translucent blue one. My son loves playing GBA pokemon pinball and the over pokemon games. I love playing all the classic GBA games.
What do you mean by fry the battery? Like it drains it and needs to be charged or fried as in does not work and needs to be replaced? I just ordered one of these. Because of all the great reviews and i love clamshell formfactor. I just want to make sure I did not misunderstand lol.

Someone on Reddit already posted pictures of a fried unit. Said it happened while charging. I use an old low powered Samsung phone charging brick so I can charge slow. I did notice that I put mine in sleep, put it in my pocket and it somehow came back on and was a little warm with ue lid closed. I just shut it down. Overall no problem charging but the device may get a bit warm and from what I've seen on other videos, they say the battery somehow is sitting directly over the CPU. I'm just going to baby it and enjoy playing my games.

Get a ps vita and mod it super easy takes 30 minutes no computer needed .. did it to mine and you get easy accea to all psp and vita and psx games.. can even get a cheap japanese version
A Retroid pocket 3+ is a great choice for PSP emulation.
A good option is the TrimUI Smartpro. Is a Linux based handheld which is super simple to set up similar to the anbernic devices
Ps vita imo or emulating on phone with a controller is also good
forget all the hand me downs or phones w/ controllers (lol). just get a dedicated emulation handheld capable of full speed psp
