He has the magic of the crystal, the power of the six, the might of 13 of his strongest Ancestors, and he can create magical potions and items that literally defy death itself XD Even tough he does not look like it, Noctis is the most powerful being on the face of Eos.
This thing is strong enough to contend with Shinryu, who turns every protagonist and antagonist from I to XIII into little bitches compared to it. In fact, Omega is Shinryu's nemesis.

Beyond the dimensions of medival times Omega weapon was once defeated by 4 successors of the warriors of dawn: Bartz, Lenna, Faris, and Galuf/Krile They used such powerful magics, summons, and ultimate weapons against the Omega weapon but has barely fully defeated it. Now Exdeath has transported Omega weapon through an interdimensional rift going to somewhere, somewhere being in Insomnia

Of course, it can transport itself to DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS, so sooner or later it'll come up short on SOMETHING. ...actually, that probably explains the sheer amount of firepower it's packing, it's to compensate.
You want to have argmiar accelerator on and have the strongest royal arms on. Just keep dodging until you can use your argmiar then hit the FACE not the top beam. (If you hit the beam,he goes into a invincible mode for like a minute). Repeat until you beat him. Keep plenty on Phoenix downs.
This boss wasn't too hard but its amount of health and its defense are insane.Took me almost 5 hours of fighting to bring it down.And I was on lv.120 and still it was really tough.Never doing it again lol.
Shado nouz one day we might see the final piece of the Gilgamesh battle, not some crappy two armed guy, who I'll state was really poor, no humourous antics we know and loved
Strategies for Omega: -Make sure you have anything that can increase your strength: Magitek Suit V2, Dark Matter Bracelet, Prince Fatigues (No Jacket), Sword of the Father -If you don't want to go with attack, go with defense: Kingly Raiment, Anklet of the Gods -Swords of the Wanderer is the only royal arm that has a very quick DPS, so use that to do some quick damage to Omega. DO NOT WARPSTRIKE, warp strike with Sword of the Father. -When Omega's antenna starts to ignite with red lightning, get away from him -Equip Prompto with the Wanderer's Sigil (gives him limitless ammo with rifle) and shoot Omega with it while he is in berserk form. -When using Armiger unleased, only use the combos when you can, you can still use Legacy of the Lucii, but the last attack will heal him. (More techniques coming soon...)
You shouldn't have bothered using Bow Of The Clever + Overwhelm. They nerfed it in Patch 1.16. Edit: Magitek Exosuits were useless in this fight too. You should have just kept your team in KG Garbs; would've given them extra durability.
Michael Von Patrick IV I only missed the Bow and the Sword of The Tall when I beat the story. Popping out constant 9999s in a 50-hit combo was what made the Bow of The Clever worth the journey through Balouve Mines.

Hey Zenar, not sure if you know but that Rare Metal actually grants Limit Break for Noctis' attacks. It works brilliantly with Ragnarok's warping because that already does max damage.
I can't even to begin to imagine killing something like that. I was blown away just from noticing how much gil and items you had stored. I struggle alot with just having very little things and like 30k gil.
A little tip if you have armgerir unleashed since your party members are invincible during it but can still be targeted by attcks depending on what omega does he might just sit there and shoot missiles at your party or do other stationary attcks which can let you get in lots of damage and speed up the fight I just kept everone dead and revived them when I was about to use my armiger

hakuryu I saw one of the many “leaks” threads from some Sqeenix ex-employee about that Ardyn fight. He was supposed to have another form. I’m not super into FF titles but isn’t that pretty common in all those games? I remember seeing FF XIII final boss had at least 3. I figure if there’s a fight to really be fought and an ass that deserves kicking, it’s his and not some ginormous turtle mountain.
I got lucky and Omega Weapon got stuck in one of the buildings from warping and was walking in place. So I was hitting Omega Weapon non stop. I was getting super bored just bashing away for 30 minutes while with Armiger used like 15 times due to its insane durability.
I somehow glitched Omega into a corner near doors to a building and it got stuck after I casted a spell it somehow teleported there and couldn't attack only walk and try to get out.
The boss is not hard when it comes to his attacks once you’ve mastered how to maneuver them it’s just that his life is higher than Mount Everest so it takes lots of time
I don't think Omega was Ardyn's doing... Think it's more Omega sensing a Goddess (Shiva) nearby and teleporting into the FFXV universe to go after her. At least, that's my theory anyway. If Ardyn did have control over Omega, it means there's going to be more dangerous enemies in the future
Has a shitton of HP? Downs you in afew hits? Inflicts annoying and painful status ailments? Has a variety of difficult to dodge attacks? Forces you to use weapons that constantly deplete your health when landing hits? ...did ffxv finally get boss fights right!?
Not sure if anyone will see this now but I beat Omega at lvl 70! It took patience a lot of healing items and armiger unleashed! Of course and pure skill!
Whats really dumb is that your team mates are totally useless as they cant dmg him but you need to keep them alive if you want a chance to revive noctis. And they are dumb enough to constantly run into his one shot attacks like the sphere when he cools down.
Using arminger unleashed U can easy do combo with last hit for 1000 hp and strongest techniques for far more HP. Try spamming warp strike with ragnarok to omega eye that shots red Lazer beam

Depends. If you wanna get the essence of basically every FF before 10 then play ff9, holds up the best and is arguably the best out of the ten. Now for everything past 10 I’d say that 15 is a fine place to start.

Omega Weapon didn't even look like this in FF6, it was a giant lizard monster that had machine parts in the middle of it on the floating Continent. Apparently they forgot what it looked liked?

Best strategy is to use scepter of the pious. You have pretty much every combo type royal arms can have, and you deal magic damage, which omega resists less. Hit the stop field generator whenever you can.

I've tried defeating it without using any healing item & here's the story... I became 'Power Rangers' & still got wrecked Armiger Unleashed it (my team dead) I use Ring of the Lucii, cast death & I'm dead. This boss is a F.R.E.A.K

Not all; it only has 20% resistance to lightning. It does take regular damage from everything and become immune to the royal arms when it goes berserk, though.

You can tell the original parts of Omega (mostly the main torso and primary antenna) and the parts added that are modern. If this was the original Omega a built, the battle would have been much longer and harder. Would have been nice to have seen or had a chapter or something in the original ancient Solnheim.
K I beat him. Took just under an hour. This is by far the "hardest" (not a real challenge but an endurance) boss in FFXV and nothing comes close. Ardyn was a joke, Adamantoise is a tank but you can cheese him with the Ring of Lucii in 5 minutes and MA-X wasn't bad. Omega on the other hand is a battle of attrition. Bring a lot of potions - hi exilirs, phoenix downs, muscle stims, your best gear, and patience. Go for the face not atenna because the shield pops up after 5 warp strikes. Note - even with 9999 health, he can still down you in one hit. Electricity magic did the most damage for me with ragnarok warp strikes being second. Overwhelm is great too. Not much other than that. Bring on FF16 now.
ARDINs SARDINE - You either have to buy the “Royal Edition” version of the entire game or if you’ve already bought the original release you can download the dungeon as a DLC from the PlayStation store for $15. Personally, the expanded Insomnia final dungeon, the extra boss fights, the additional cutscenes, the side quests that reward your characters with their most powerful accessories, and the Omega battle made it worth EVERY penny

You’ll keep all your gear, levels, items, and so on. The bros will return to their younger selves and Ignis will no longer be blind. Don’t worry about not knowing this, I had the same question when the game came out.

hakuryu I saw one of the many “leaks” threads from some Sqeenix ex-employee about that Ardyn fight. He was supposed to have another form. I’m not super into FF titles but isn’t that pretty common in all those games? I remember seeing FF XIII final boss had at least 3. I figure if there’s a fight to really be fought and an ass that deserves kicking, it’s his and not some ginormous turtle mountain.
Truvey Taylor Final Fantasy final bosses are never difficult. The hardest bosses are always extra content. Why would XV be any different?
Because he's not an optional superboss, Omega is. Ardyn is Sephiroth to what looks like Emerald and Ruby WEAPON back to back.
Ardyn is the last boss. Final Fantasy final bosses typically aren't that difficult (I don't even think you could die against 10's final boss).
I got lucky and Omega Weapon got stuck in one of the buildings from warping and was walking in place. So I was hitting Omega Weapon non stop. I was getting super bored just bashing away for 30 minutes while with Armiger used like 15 times due to its insane durability.
I somehow glitched Omega into a corner near doors to a building and it got stuck after I casted a spell it somehow teleported there and couldn't attack only walk and try to get out.

I wish I can fight it... This boss will be one of my most worthy opponents I ever faced in the game.

The boss is not hard when it comes to his attacks once you’ve mastered how to maneuver them it’s just that his life is higher than Mount Everest so it takes lots of time

I don't think Omega was Ardyn's doing... Think it's more Omega sensing a Goddess (Shiva) nearby and teleporting into the FFXV universe to go after her. At least, that's my theory anyway. If Ardyn did have control over Omega, it means there's going to be more dangerous enemies in the future

Whats really dumb is that your team mates are totally useless as they cant dmg him but you need to keep them alive if you want a chance to revive noctis. And they are dumb enough to constantly run into his one shot attacks like the sphere when he cools down.

It's not just amount of HP. That thing's defense is through the roof. He only did about 200 per hit on avergae.

About what I'd expect from Omega.
Using arminger unleashed U can easy do combo with last hit for 1000 hp and strongest techniques for far more HP. Try spamming warp strike with ragnarok to omega eye that shots red Lazer beam

Depends. If you wanna get the essence of basically every FF before 10 then play ff9, holds up the best and is arguably the best out of the ten. Now for everything past 10 I’d say that 15 is a fine place to start.

Omega Weapon didn't even look like this in FF6, it was a giant lizard monster that had machine parts in the middle of it on the floating Continent. Apparently they forgot what it looked liked?

Best strategy is to use scepter of the pious. You have pretty much every combo type royal arms can have, and you deal magic damage, which omega resists less.
Hit the stop field generator whenever you can.

Yup, the sad reality. That being said, props to whoever designed this boss. They did whatever they could do to subvert the game's difficulty-crushing mechanics.

Blake Berry Perhaps. Every attack it has you can react to. Well, I should say most of them. Omega's slam is very quick and can do roughly 8000 damage. That would be your only problem

you can fight with lvl 1 , if you spam 99 potions ,99 high-potions ,99 elixir and 99 high-elixir while you are a master of defense and evade.

With MA-X Angelus-0, you can one shot it with Alterna, though it may take a few tries. Omega is entirely immune to the ring.

This boss resist all elements and physical attacks do small damage, except Royal Arms.
Not all; it only has 20% resistance to lightning. It does take regular damage from everything and become immune to the royal arms when it goes berserk, though.

I'm a year late, but the exosuit is entirely useless against Omega. It'll still damage you regardless of whether or not it's charged.
You can tell the original parts of Omega (mostly the main torso and primary antenna) and the parts added that are modern. If this was the original Omega a built, the battle would have been much longer and harder. Would have been nice to have seen or had a chapter or something in the original ancient Solnheim.
Something about the track used here reminds me of the track for the Battle theme of FFV.

He is near the east side. Try walking North-east of the map.
K I beat him. Took just under an hour. This is by far the "hardest" (not a real challenge but an endurance) boss in FFXV and nothing comes close. Ardyn was a joke, Adamantoise is a tank but you can cheese him with the Ring of Lucii in 5 minutes and MA-X wasn't bad. Omega on the other hand is a battle of attrition. Bring a lot of potions - hi exilirs, phoenix downs, muscle stims, your best gear, and patience. Go for the face not atenna because the shield pops up after 5 warp strikes. Note - even with 9999 health, he can still down you in one hit. Electricity magic did the most damage for me with ragnarok warp strikes being second. Overwhelm is great too. Not much other than that. Bring on FF16 now.

ARDINs SARDINE - You either have to buy the “Royal Edition” version of the entire game or if you’ve already bought the original release you can download the dungeon as a DLC from the PlayStation store for $15. Personally, the expanded Insomnia final dungeon, the extra boss fights, the additional cutscenes, the side quests that reward your characters with their most powerful accessories, and the Omega battle made it worth EVERY penny

I put 180 hours into this game while playing a few months ago and I still don't ever see myself beating Omega.
I expected Critikal to give Omega a mad diss like:
"I'm about to slap this robot so fuckin hard that it's gonna wake up as an Ophthalmology machine."
How do you get to it? Everywhere I look people only talk about how to fight it but not where and when it becomes availible. Can I fight it in chapter 9?

It becomes available in Chapter 14, and can be saved for Chapter 15. You can only beat it once per playthrough.

Sidney Shaw If you use Umbra by resting at hotels or those little underground rest areas you find in Insomnia, you’ll have the option to return to the past (aka return to altissia or past Lucis). You’ll keep all your gear, levels, items, and so on. The bros will return to their younger selves and Ignis will no longer be blind. Don’t worry about not knowing this, I had the same question when the game came out.
