Loved this technique and used it to make a small purse to go with my cross body bag! Thank you Debbie for sharing your creations with us!

How adorable is this? The quilter's grid is awesome. I really like the 2 different fabrics on the back. Sometimes I close a pincushion on the back with a "Frankenstein" stitch then either hand sew or iron on an applique. Thanks so much for this tutorial and I'm off to order some quilter's grid!

Thank you great idea. Now going to start a sewing link with my daughter in the Uk. I got her the quilters grid paper and drawn the grid my paper. Using the left overs from making 530 masks.

This board was on sale on Debbie’s shop -not sure if she still has stock though ,otherwise try Amazon. However she did make a slightly larger ironing pad ( no inserts of cutting mat like this one) on You tube January 2 nd 2021

Hi Debbie when I have seen the grid used before the have always snipped after sewn to make it lie flatter as it can be a bit bulky but yours worked well without doing that although you did use a starch which I haven't seen before on a project using the grid. Thank you Gillian

I like the folding ironing board and cutting mat folder, do you have a video on that? Thank you.

Hi Debbie Shore! Truly a dear little pincushion! Watching you makes me think...do you think it would work to quilt your square without first stitching & complete the pincushion as usual? Give it a raw edge look...
    Have a blessed day!

fabulous tutorial. I’m thinking of getting into patchwork but never done before and have no knowledge or tools. Did you make that folder yourself it’s great for small items or did you buy it. I don’t sew so an absolute novice and will hand sew till I get some experience and see if I can do it before buying a sewing machine. Thank you for sharing Ive liked and subscribed ❤ xx

Love this little pin cushion. I recently found your Chanel. I’m going to try this. I’m in love with the cute bunny’s behind you in the video. After searching your Chanel I can’t seem to find them. Can you point me in the right direction please. I love bunny’s xx

Miss Debbie, is there a way to do it without the quilters grid? We do not have that here. Can I draw the squares onto a piece of fusible pellon (interfacing). Would that work?

Could you stuff it with something to sharper pins at the same time?
