Cool now do a video of the head replacement on this model since I can’t find any information on how to do so, the replacement trimmer head I bought says it works on the 2828-20 but no clue on how to remove it! They provided a pin to insert that locks the head so it can be removed but no clue
So out of all the trimmers you have reviewed which one is your favorite or top favorites to use or run for just general home use for a large yard. Thanks
@@4thewinak It's pretty good but the handle doesn't rotate like the ryobi, the only thing I miss about the old ryobi cordless trimmer, and the edger is nice. Now the hedger is bit heavier than the ryobi but more power.
to me, the gen 1 & gen 2 fuel have more power, or at least keeps power to cut through the tough stuff. This is not far behind on power. I bet most people could hardly tell a difference, but this one (non fuel brushless) is much smoother to operate.
Have the Milwaukee. I have 4 heads and they all tangle up inside. Have to restring them all the time. Two of them came with the two trimmers and Milwaukee gave me the other two. All four were tangled up right out of the box. Any suggestions. Can't get anywhere with Milwaukee anymore.
Not understanding the question the trimmer guard is attached with 4 screws the head does not need to come off the instructions tell you how to assemble it
My only complaint is the handle doesn't tilt easily. The best reason to buy it is if you're in the milwaukee platform, same batts same charger etc. I'm down to 2 chargers milwaukee and the toro charger. I have a bunch of milwaukee crap and it's great to use the same bats. if you're not in the platform already then there are so many choices for a trimmer it's not even funny.
really depends on how heavily you are using it... weekly trims around flower beds. you would probably be fine. any real trimming would probably eat it up in minutes at full power, if not thermally cutting out first.
if you use 🐢 the string wont weld mine hasnt It holds 30 ft of string and i use the twisted Milwaukee string I use mine on turtle 🐢 mode when when doing huge properties and the i can weed eat for about 1hr and like 15 mins before i swap batteries i use .095 on a xc 6 high output but the kicker is the battery cost about $160 new at home Depot so basically its like u bought the battery and the charger and the weedeater cost $40 basically if your already in the Milwaukee line and want a weedeater might as well grab this and get that high output battery
My quick lock trimmer when using a 4 amp hour battery cuts off and on after it heats up after around 18 minutes is this just mine , or because I am only using a 4 amp hour battery or is this a Milwaukee trimmer design defect ?
This is probably a while late, I have the 325ilk and it works great. I think the 520ilx might have less vibration but you have to keep in mind that the motor is at the bottom so the balance of the tool is different.
15 min work time with 5 ah battery with speed 1 about 35-40min work time with 12 Ah with speed 1 never needed speed lvl 2 but i think with this its 5 min less run time

Yes please, having the same issue. Thank uou
do you have a video on how to replace trimmer line head?
Good video taught me a lot about the trimmer. Haven't tried mine but now I know more about it.

Great video review bro!!
I just picked up the kit for $180 at Home Depot. At that price it's pretty much the best one going.
With battery too?
@@ex8280 Yes with XC60. I bought an XC80 just to have a spare.
@@kevin9c1 nice!
Snagged the kit today for $100!!!
@@ItsMrBlu Damn that's a deal.
Nice review. I've been wanting to upgrade my old ryobi trimmer/edger combo
Good choice!

Good stuff! I’ll stick with the flex volt
Low speed is all i use on that trimmer. Low can do anything i need and it saves the battery.
Good stuff buddy
Thanks 👍
So! You need to bump the head while is running in order for the string to automatically feed out?
Thanks, great video!!
Yes
so how does this compare to the gen 1 and gen 2....

Have you tried the Husqvarna rapid reload trimmer head or the Echo 400 head and which one is best if you know ?
never tried to husqvarna rapid reload head. but i've used a speed feed head on a stihl gas trimmer my old neighbor used to have.

Hand spool them, soak the line for a day, or change the head.
Pleeeease, show me how i remove the trimmer head completely, so i can attach the trimmer guard
Not understanding the question the trimmer guard is attached with 4 screws the head does not need to come off the instructions tell you how to assemble it
Will this string trimmer will overheated under heavy load , full blast for few minutes ??
Yeah. Most definitely but I think to be fair almost all battery power stringers will.
The best luck I’ve had is the flexvolt one from dewalt
How much power am I losing if I use a 5.0 battery? still be able to get stuff done?
Basic usage yes. but it will drain fast and trimmer will not feel as powerful. First few minutes you probably won't notice it though.
How does this compare with my quick lock trimmer
Quick lock trimmer is the better tool. more power, and more interchangeable system.
@@4thewinak and overheats wuicker

True
I have a bunch of Milwaukee tools and M18 batteries. Probably gonna purchase all Milwaukee lawn care products.
Como haces cuando ya se gasto el hilo lo debes de sacar nuevamente y volver a meter para medir???
if you use it a lot, you can usually tell at how well the bump feed works. Towards the end of the line, the bump feed won't feed as much per bump.
How long you guys think a 5 amp hour battery will run this trimmer if at all?
really depends on how heavily you are using it... weekly trims around flower beds. you would probably be fine. any real trimming would probably eat it up in minutes at full power, if not thermally cutting out first.
Wht do I do when it dies as I'm ✂️ cutting
probably need a new battery.

How do you extend the line when it's too short? I've been looking everywhere and can't figure out how to do it.
Bump the head on the ground
My quick lock trimmer when using a 4 amp hour battery cuts off and on after it heats up after around 18 minutes is this just mine , or because I am only using a 4 amp hour battery or is this a Milwaukee trimmer design defect ?
It does that because of the line being too long , poor design if you ask me mine does the same thing
Anyone use a Husqvarna battery trimmer in a 5 series pro or a 325 combi head trimmer and if so which one is better ?
not me

Overheats in only 10 minutes of use
Makita is way better.
im with you there!
Even if u do keep it? You buy, use the shit out of these things and return them for your vids.... 😆 lol unsubscribe
