The articulating head is a beast when clearing low lying growth. we have been clearing 2 acres of uncared yard for twenty five years. Twist it and make it mow everything in your way.
Just got this the other day and I will say it's unbelievably heavy. I look at it as making me stronger :) It's INCREDIBLY sharp though and cuts hedges like butter.
Great video I just got the power head with trimmer a few weeks ago . Now I have the edger and the hedge trimmer . Never thought I would have ever switched from a gas power head but so far so good
@@splitarrowfarm Home Depot had the pole saw attachment on sale so I went after watching your video and got one for myself. Not to sure if I want to power Broom for almost 400 Canadian bucks I can pass when I got the power head trimmer battery 8.0 and rapid charger with the free blower a few weeks ago for 475 Canadian
My GF has a massive bush, but only at the front. It’s a big outlay so considering the above, the smaller unit m12 may suffice to service her. Hope it doesn’t overheat and burn out as it’s so dense. She may need me to wear a harness for my back.
My only gripe with this trimmer is the weight while fully extended even with the shoulder harness attached. It does reach way out there, but you have to use your muscles.
Want to share a discovery I made with regards to cleaning the blades on these trimmers. I discovered this degreaser product Dollar General and Dollar Tree stores sell. Cheap to buy and spray it on the blades and the gunk just flows off. Rinse with water next. Almost effortless, let dry and then spray a light coat of WD 40 to prevent rust. I was hesitant to use both of my Milwaukee hedge trimmers because the blades were such a PITA to clean, not now.
I have the same hedge trimmer. It is VERY heavy. I am not weak, but this thing makes me tired very quickly. I’m using the 8Ah battery that came with the kit, so that’s not helping. I’ve been wanting to shop around for a smaller and lighter Ryobi or Dewalt pole trimmer, but they cannot extend to as long as I need.
I notice every one of these reviews no one is using the handle and is grabbing the actual pole, is there a way to move the handle further up on the shaft?
I get its to avoid senseless ridicule from youtube degens....but man I can't get past the whole helmet / ear protection / face mask / eye gogles setup. So funny. Cheers.

Best of luck!
😂
I think it depends on how often it needs a trim

Did it come with tapons for you, with your head gear and eye guard protection….?
how many feet does that extend? can you use an extension pole and how far does that get?

Thanks for sharing!
I wish the video showed actually attaching the hedge trimmer. I angle mine down to cut through brush.

Oh wow, such a great tip I am going to have to try this now thanks

How many extensions can be used ?
Simple trick. I record explanatory videos of what I think of Milwaukee tools and I always seem to get new tools
nice
I like turtles.
I see you have hearing protection but did not use it. Is the noise minimal and not needed?
Which helmet and face shield is that?
Here is the one featured: amzn.to/3LN6Gzr
Pretty sure your using it upside-down
Interesting
Yes. Your handle and sling are installed on the bottom instead of the top of the head unit.
good job
Thank you! Cheers!
To many review on over heating. The hedger is the only thing good with that unit. I bought the echo 225 instead. Sticking with gas for now.
Sounds good!

Safety first!
yep. when you've seen as many facial injuries as I have you learn to appreciate your safety gear. @@splitarrowfarm

Why won't mine cut anything thicker than a tiny stick. Gets hung up. Why!!???
Its all good, Its not for the rain forest....
Haha very true
Will this attachment work with my 40v Ryobi string trimmer?
