This happened in England and they even had police officers stationed near some of the houses to catch any miscreants throwing stones! The stones continued to fall and not one person was apprehended!! Can't remember exactly where in England as I was 10 at the time and it was a long time ago!! Lol!!

There are several different types of witches. And like Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, there are people who truly use it for good and there are others who use it for darker purposes, like the manipulation and control of others, etc. Spells should ONLY be cast when you have cleansed yourself of negative emotions, due to the rule of threes. Yes, it’s remarkable how adulthood and experience tends to dampen those infantile visceral responses to “spooky” stories. These days I would have expected a similar kind of desensitisation to occur by the time individuals are in their early teen years, though clearly this is not always the case. It does appear that pubescent hormonal behaviour is alive and well across broad age ranges, however.

I have seen, felt and heard spirits since I was little. I have sensed their presence and even been touched. 99% of the time they are good spirits some being loved ones. Every few years when I’m sleeping I’m woken seconds b4 an evil spirit touches me. I recite The Lord’s Prayer over and over until I fall back to sleep. I sleep with a lamp on at night if I sense mischievous spirit or was touched by an evil one. It takes a few days b4 I can go back to sleep w/o it.
My first memory of a spirit was when I was 4. I asked my mother if someone died in our home. (The home was built just after WWII & the previous owner was the original. )
My mother first said no one died but I kept asking. I was persistent & after awhile my mother told me, yes, a lady died of “old age.”
I then told my mum that the old lady lived in our attic, looks down, & watches over me.
That’s just a small snippet of what has happened to me.

I would love to hear more of the spirits or your stories with them, if they tell you about themselves, or things you've experienced with them.
Is it scary on the otherside for them?
Are the bad spirits bad people in life?
You don't have to answer, and sorry if I'm being too noisy!
I think I'd have a panic attack if I seen a spirit, but it's incredibly fascinating hearing other's experiences.
Take care and Stay Safe Stranger!

I hadn’t heard about stone throwing in a while, it seems that nowadays it’s not a big thing anymore but it probably happens under other phenomena , like accompanying a whole bunch of different types of behavior entities manifest. It also looks like this phenomena is acted upon by means of a ritual and asking spirits for help in accomplishing “justice” in this stone throwing incident particularly, but any other array of things that the one who draws the contract desires.

I must say that would be quite the terrifying ordeal to find yourself in. Especially interesting is how the stones were able to pass through the ceiling as if “phasing” and leaving no mark or holes. As if the intended target was never actually the home, but as you said the people or person within. Also it’s actually really gratifying to hear how serious the local police and news were in taking the whole event seriously. In nearly every paranormal event it’s customary for that to be almost a completely useless gesture to even contact the police. As they work on sheer facts and proof. Which this case had to be seen during for any proof to be experienced. A very intriguing story Ms Laura! As you always do bring. In my history of anything paranormal the only stone throwing events were attributed to The Bigfoot or Sasquatch. And those were boulders! I’d have to think very hard to actually pick which I’d have to endure! At least the boulders weren’t able to phase through the walls. I don’t know how you find these, but please don’t stop! 👏👏👏👏👏

I'm inclined to think that certain parts of the scientific community could shine a light on these stone 'throwing' occurrences.
Research into gravity and interdimensionality has gone on for many decades.
I still believe that Bigfoot etc. are charged with the responsibility of keeping humans 'under control' in areas that might 'damage their health'.

I’m an American of Irish decent born and raised in the 2nd largest Haitian community in the US, Flatbush Brooklyn. I’m a Catholic, but I’ve seen enough strange things I can’t explain growing up with Haitians to know to keep a healthy fear of Voodoo. I know this happening was in Grenade, but they’re all African practices going back thousands of years, if not from unbroken from ancient times, that came to the West Indian Islands with the Africans. They’re called different things on different islands. European colonization wiped out a good portion of the real knowledge, but don’t play with that stuff. There are still those who know what they’re doing.

I grew up in South Africa and remember an african lady who worked for my mom telling me a story of the village next to hers. Of a woman who was caught with someone's husband, and the wife had had her cursed. The witch doctor (Sangoma) gave her Muti to rub on stones, which she threw onto the roof of the woman's house. Minutes later the woman was screaming in agony and had to be taken to the hospital, where they operated on her and found her stomach full of stones.

Is it appropriate to describe Obeah as "witchcraft", with all western negative connotations associated with the term? It's association with witchcraft is derived from the colonialists and the influences of colonialism. The practice does have a social function, such as treating the ill and distressed, as it does in its place of origin in West Africa.

    • @LucianCorrvinus
      @LucianCorrvinus Год назад

The negative connotation is not necessarily shared by all culture in all people especially we witches. And it is a differentiation from other sorts of belief systems that have ritualistic or spiritual overtones. Her using it here is a scholar is perfectly understood not to have any bias judgment to it it's merely label she's using to the find something understood upon that level alone.. you notice she said where the belief system comes from who'd applies to you when she even made a point of it to say that often is involved with social justice in cases like this which is true it is not unusual for many communities across time and cultures also to not have Justice from a stance of the law even when applied or didn't apply to them and therefore having to go to a practitioner would lay some sort of curse or hex or a crossing as they call it person who deserved it but was unreachable by worldly methods.

I think that the government should study these entities. I know they exist. I saw one once, and actually observed it for several minutes. And I watched it moved items. When I went outside where it had been, after I was brave enough to leave, and I walked past where it had been, sure enough, the door it had opened was still opened. I realized I wasn't imagining it.

Perception is a funny thing. A great many witnesses of such entities aren’t actually seeing anything external at all, but rather an internally generated narrative. I’m not dismissing all these experiences, as some have considerable evidence and multiple witnesses which makes them more difficult to explain away. Don’t forget that when individuals hallucinate they often can’t distinguish it from reality.

12:50 Could you imagine suing someone defamation, because they called a vampire; you win, but only get awarded 10 big fat shillings. I don't know what a shilling is worth, but it doesn't sound like a lot. I'd rather be known as Dracula. It's worth more than ten bucks, being thought of as Dracula; I'd bet.

Many times a person really isn't seeking damages they want their name rehabilitated they want the person to be seen as having lied and often times they're willing to take no conversation at whatsoever as long as the person apologizes. It is that righting a wrong that often bears out of some sort of reward of monetary damages
