That droning noise in the background is VERY irritating. Too many channels that are 'creepypasta', paranormal, etc. use those kind of anxiety inducing 'music'/noises, which are TOXIC to the listeners. Had to stop listening to this vid. PLEASE lose the creepy, irritating background noises that only detract from your presentation.

My God... i am romanian myself and heard of this case but I didn't know all these details. Very well documented video, thank you so much for posting this! It makes us be aware never to pick up coins, money or jewelry found on the street.
I feel so bad for her ! I also belive her Grandmother didn't help by spreading the rumors about her own Grandaughter, they fed the demon/ devil whatever it was.Happy she was able to break free of it and live a fairly normal life as an adult.
Honestly, her grandmother seemed deliberately malicious. If she was in fact a witch, like it was claimed then I wonder if she had something to do with all the phenomenon.
Her grandmother reminds me of a few people in my family.. These people used to claim I was a living curse and that they never wanted me near them.. It does not help that they where very superstitious and the time, and day of when I was born.. I know some people did listen to them and basically would keep away from me but just like the girl in the video, its not something that caused problems for me later for the most part.
For.. Context. The number 4 as well as the number 13 are both considered cursed numbers. I was born Friday 13th, at 04 : 44 ( That is AM for those who do not use 24 hour clocks ) during a full moon. So you can probably see how that can cause very superstitious people to go nuts... Sadly at one point I actually believed them for a bit due to some things that happened.. But the things going on at said time where not due to me.. and if I really was a living curse like they claimed. Things would be a lot worse now.
U just saved me from repeating the same, the grandmother undoubtedly has a big part of the say. As you say just pleased she rid herself of what ever it was.👍
If you have to walk 2 hours to visit your grandmother, the LEAST you deserve is some candy bought with found money. Sheesh 🙄

Why does a lot of supernatural activity take place in Romania? It really seems like a mystical place on the fringes of the European continent.

Don't want to be one of 'those' guys, but there is a lot of hardship in Romania, people struggle sometimes on the fringe, and all that negativity probably creates negative energy, giving more of a window for these things.
Transilvania.
Because they strongly believe in this type stuff.
These thing's happen more in the very secluded and small villages where people don't have access to education, and in those places people tend to be very religious, and of course with no education the mind can very easily play tricks on one's mind, making it think it's something supernatural. When it's plain ignorance. They might be suffering with some mental disorder, but not knowing what they deal with, they make it religious, paranormal, demony, because that's the only thing they know.
Not just in Romania. Be on the ball with regards to here in the UK and America
Another interesting video Laura and Erik. I heard of cursed objects being left out for people to pick up and then the curse comes upon them. What an innocent thing to find silver coins, buying a few sweets and being call a devil child for doing so. Such a shame. ☹️
I have had poltergeist like experiences that were more active in my youth but still occasionally crop back up. The description of a familial spirit fits my experiences so much better, though. It's absolutely accurate that it could cause trouble for me and there were some cases of mysterious scratches, but a point came when I acknowledged the entity and was polite and not fearful, and ever since then it's ranged from mildly mischievous to benign or even helpful. Now I'm happy when it makes it's self known. It's a gift to know that there are things in this world beyond the material.

Do you think it family? Think how would you communicate if you couldn't be heard? Knock, move something? It takes loads of energy to do this! If its sporadic, it could be someone visiting & probably concerned for you! Not necessarily a spirit trapped on this plain. If you think it's more nefarious, then call upon the Archangels, ask them to imprison the entity! Difficult to say without more details or experiencing. Hope this helps? I know spirits n angels n demons exist, but do you acknowledge them?? I don't want to be rude to an Angel or a familiar spirit but I'm terrified to acknowledge a bad entity!! What do I do?? Mum O??
@@mumo9413 I don't believe in the Abrahamic religions, personally. I look at it from more of an animist perspective. I don't know the exact nature of the spirit, just that it seems attached to me specifically. I do not see it as nefarious. I really appreciate your offer of help, but I'm fine. I'm not afraid of most spirits in general, but especially not this one.
@@unapologetic3674 it’s all about how the energy it makes you feel it it’s presence. Your intuition is your best friend when dealing with anything paranormal, although the word paranormal is misleading as it’s perfectly normal to encounter spirit. after all energy can’t be destroyed only created or transmuted. Some people are super sensitive to energy fields like myself I see it as a gifts to see feel and hear the otherwise unseen 🔮❤️

Thank you, I had heard of the case but never had any real details of her life after the scratching episodes and no-one ever pointed out her sensitive skin before. Details like this are where you go above and beyond! I am glad she did get past things and everyone knew her as a decent person after such unfair blame on her as a child.

I truly feel bad for such a young girl to have to go through such a long and drawn out horrible situation. And if her subconscious was in any way even partially to blame, exactly how did she manage to use it to levitate so many objects, throw so many things, and do so with absolute precision in many cases? That alone if it was the case is enough for an entire book. “Levitation for Dummies”. With so very much documentation and even video proof, I find it perfectly impossible to blame her for doing anything other than not sharing her Wonka bar. There was one golden ticket left! What would you have done? And in fact to add to this, it’s the first time I have ever heard of a coin or basically any object waiting to be picked up by someone just to haunt or possess them. This is definitely one of those stories that once you’ve heard the entire detailed version, have zero ground to stand on and “debunk” anything. So many witnesses. Such a young child, and bite marks where she couldn’t have done herself? And some so fresh they were still wet? Ughh, gross to think about! It was probably one easily explained thing that happened, then rumours started flying around and it all took on a life of its own. Especially when superstitions are already running rampant.

A fascinating case study! I find it incredibly interesting how many of these poltergeist cases start with clear indications of the subject being tormented with many witnesses, yet later under observation and investigation it seems there's a level of fakery involved. I wonder how much is intentional (eg to keep the attention) and how much is subconsciously influenced by the entity causing the activity. Also, how much fakery is influenced by the observers expecting more and more activity? The pressure of expectation on a poor, uneducated tween must be incredible. I can only feel deep sympathy for poor little Eleanor.

I think this may be my favorite channel, speaking as an historian and to satisfy my own intellectual curiosity's. What I enjoy most is the Joe Friday style of, "just the facts." It's refreshing in a world more concerned with bombast or pomp and circumstance than with the actual meat of a topic. You aren't vitriolic nor do you use loaded phrases. Also, you don't seem to be pushing some private agenda and as such, you don't over use emotional responses or wording. That's clean and it's honestly what "news" is supposed to be but today opinion is passed as fact. We live in such a compressed and rapidly paced news cycle that leaves individuals the task of deciphering between fact and opinion. Unfortunately, our lives are generally set to a fast pace so it's almost impossible to carry out said task. That's why, clean, fact based reports are essential to seek out, so tank you again.

Hello Laura, I've been following your work for quite awhile now. This is by far the most in depth of a topic I've seen yet. This is one of the more intriguing cases I've ever heard on this subject. Bravo to you and Erik as well. Im kinda leaning towards the final conclusion that it was a mix up of her young brain power manifesting telekinesis. which attracted the unseen devilish entity and activated her ability so to speak. Her coming of age and it dissipating at that time sealed the deal for me. Fantastic job finding and diving into this one for us! With love

I believe he has a friend that's a priest (not sure if that's the right religious career he is in but he's in the church) anyways he had some stuff blessed & sent them to him but their not working & a lot of ppl including me believe he's in the obsession phase bc of what's going on now & also less believes it's the entity of VLAD THE EMPALIOR ( it is demonic whatever it is ) and it's attached to his wife big time & this thing is getting more bold each time now I hope they can get some real help soon bc it looks like it's really bad & idk how much worse it can get besides him being full on possession... anyways hope u have a great week!!
@@hectorrodriquez3182 it seems to be in the oppression phase at this time. If he doesn't get more help soon, it could end that way. I honestly believe that his desire to interact with it, is what is giving it the power. In my opinion and experience, all paranormal investigation can be dangerous. I have had an attachment since being in a coma for 6 weeks. Since I have always tried to ignore it, it has never been too bad.
Laura has the beauty, intelligence and storytelling skill to so masterfully delight the youtube audience. Love that gems like her are somehow still available for all to enjoy. Today's mass media would totally ignore her as crass sexuality, controversy, politics and politically correct topics dominate the main stream mass media.

For those that concluded that all of these events were the result of her subconscience, they really created a lot of work for themselves in trying to explain the power of the mind and its ability for psychokinesis and teleportation. I wonder if the inflamed scratches on her skin were caused by dermatographia? It's very rare but could explain the swelling of the scratches and bite marks and possibly even the fluid that leaked out. Staphlycocci are the predominant bacteria on the skin. At any rate, fascinating story and wonderful video as always!

This was very interesting. But sad & horrible for Eleanore for all she went through!! So happy she lived a better life after that torment at 11 & 14 she went through. may be longer? Alot of people that helped with this case, the doctors, the countess. Crazy story , unreal but true. Too many witnesses seeing the moving objects for it not to be true. Just so darn spooky, it's something you don't want to be true or see but, unfortunately it is what it is & that's spooky.

Was this 1925 or 1625? Some of those claims seem crazy in 20th century Europe. I think this story incorporates changes, embellishments and additions that have been made over a couple hundred years. That's what makes folklore beautiful to me; there is always a nugget of truth. The challenge is to find it.
