I just received my lamia about a week ago and couldn’t be happier. Upgraded from the white and black s-racer after weeks of research. I expected a few dings and scratches on it, but it’s practically brand new, very impressive refurb process. I work from home and could spend all day in this chair. 10/10 would recommend.

I think the perfect chair for me would be a Damia (Deep Amia). The backrest wouldn't have to be higher, I like mid-backs. The seat also doesn't have to be wider. Greetings from 6'4", 195 lbs.

6 foot 7 230 pounds here. The Amia seat pan length is 3 inches too short. Adjustable seat pans shouldn't exit. Who wants a chasm behind their bottom? I sure wish mainstream manufacturers would make different back and seat pan sizes rather than settling for adjustment mechanisms

@@BradThurber .. or have a mechnism like the one on the Embody. But that would be difficult for upholstered seats.

@@Cobinja agreed - a mechanism that doesn't cause an uncomfortable chasm is progress.

Great video. I love the content on your channel. There aren't enough channels that go in-depth on office chairs, and I could not imagine someone doing a better job at hitting the important details than you all do. I have sat in most of the high end office chairs, and I agree with your findings (based on your chair tier video). Comfort is subjective, but I find the Amia and Leap v2 to be more comfortable than pretty much all of the competitors in the same price class. Good call out on the armrests being superior to the Gesture as well. Both the armrests and lumbar support of the Gesture are inferior compared to the Amia and/or Leap. It's an interesting design choice, as the Gesture is the most expensive of the three, at least in their base configurations. The Gesture looks the coolest though. It's as if they sacrificed function in factor of aesthetics.

Shame that shipping is only for America, would loved to test a Lamia out since i used an old V2 Leap for quite a bit.

I like how this guy loves the aggressive lumbar supports like me. I'm looking a chair with this feature, I guess that Aeron has a medium lumbar support, but you guys, what high quality chair do you thing that have a good "aggressive" lumbar support? Is the one on the leap enough? Thanks a lot ❤

Can you do some video reviews for the Flokk RH Logic line of chairs? I remember you stating in the back pain CXO video that you had some of those chairs and would be great to hear your opinion on them.

Have you tested the ThunderX3 XTC Mesh ergonomics? There are not many options for chairs in my country that are good within my budget and this chair seems to have good adjustments but I have doubts if it is good.

Any chance you can test the RH New Logic 220 or the older RH Logic 400? It seems to be the most complete chair out there, with tons of adjustments and hight quality. I'm looking for a chair that allows me to work at my Desktop for 10hrs / day. I've tried the HM Aeron Remastered (full options) for 6 months but it was cutting my legs blood flow and developed acute sciatica sitting on it. So I sold it and tried the new Asus ROG Destrier, which I found to have a very good backrest and an amazing lumbar support, but unfortunately the mesh seat chairs seem to be too firm / rigid for my thighs (fortunately the sciatica disappeared once I stopped using the Aeron and Asus ROG, it looks like all mesh seats cut my thighs circulation). Then I tried the Embody, but it lacks a solid lumbar support. I did a very extended and time consuming research and figured out that the Leap (bad cushion / bad headrest) and the Fern (bad lumbar curve, even with the lumbar support) wouldn't be good candidates for me. The Gesture kinda appeals me, but I've read lots of bads review about its poor cushioning (seat), so I'm not sure if I want try it at this point. The RH New Logic 220 looks like the optimal solution, but it costs 2.5k Euros here in Europe, so want to be sure before pulling the trigger.

what is with us filthy europeans? The prices of steelcase chairs start at 1400€ and i was looking for the plus version of the leap and it starts at 2500€. Man i just want an affordable comfortable and durable chair for my 155kg body weight. So far i broke every chair after a year or two.

It's something to keep in mind when they are reviewing other brands chair and comparing to these but they are rather transparent about it.
Dont really know the buying rights for US, regarding internet orders and returns, but i doubt them trying to bad products to costumers is a good business practice.

It's not like it's entirely their own chair that they made. It's literally two different sections from 2 Steelcase chairs combined, 2 chairs that are proven to be good. Grow a brain, ofc either chair will be good
