Got my receiver today, took a minute to figure out the 18650 but got it and the AA batteries to work together. Never replaced the transmitter but got it working on my Wltoys 124017, way better response on it
This is a great transmitter! So many features and alternative ways to use it. At $30 it’s an absolute no Brainer. Love the hybrid feature for tracked vehicles and boats or like you said, anything with 2 motors! Really great job covering the details Dave. It will surely be the Tx/Rx I purchase next time purchase next time I need to buy one! Thanks Dude!✌🏼😎💯🙏
Very nice transmitter and receiver really like how you got 3 different options to power the transmitter maybe other companies might take note of that one as always Dave your videos are awesome 👍😎
Dude, this is crazy. I have this remote, and am having issues with an ESC and motor combo I bought as far as it all playing nice together lol. I'm a novice, and a new motor, ESC, servo, transmitter/receiver, plus upgraded shocks, and spur/pinion gears, has been a bit of a challenge for me to get together, functioning properly. I think I bit off a pretty big bite, but am confident, I can get it all working myself, with a little help from my... umm internet strangers lol. What struck me, is that sound your motor makes when you turn it on. That's the sound of success! lol that's the same one my motor makes when I was able to get it happy with all the trims, and dual rates, that one time it was satisfied... I don't have any clue why it chose not to be happy again, but I'm fairly certain I didn't change anything, but obviously am wrong about that. I watched this video to get a more in depth tutorial on the settings of this transmitter. So, perhaps I can just ask. would it possibly have anyting to do with where my trims are set you think? Like is it even a possibility that the motor/ESC would keep beeping the error sound if those were off in some way? Because that's literally "given my obvious novice knowledge" the only thing I can come up with that could be the problem.
You probably turned on the multi or mixing control by accident... It's something that I'm guessing is either used more with water or are RC craft... But it turns on the throttle when you use your steering. It also messes with your gyro controls. This is the controller that they sent with the Rlaarlo Omni terminator carbon I bought and it took me 2 days after turning the gyro on to figure out how to fix it all like it was before. Was a pain. But look up Omni Terminator transmitter and there are some things that weren't covered on this video. And he covers things they don't talk about.
It really is Dan, cheers for watching buddy! I also like the responsiveness of the controls is excellent and that you can power it 3 different ways. You could use this tx easily non stop all day long by having it powered on a 18650 while having the lipo unplugged stored in the battery tray ready to use when the lithium ion goes flat 👍
Could you try out the rc car battery voltage feedback to the tx. Am really interested in this function but not sure if its accurate or are there any options for adjustment?
Regarding the use of 18650 batteries, what Amperage, or Amperage range, is specified to be used? Have to ask, considering 18650 cells are available with an Amperage as low as 2.75A, and as high as 40A. Also, if you've been able to test signal strength (ie. max distance), as well as operation time, comparing 2S LiPo vs 18650, interesting in knowing which power source is "better" to use.
It's my pleasure! Thanks very much for sending your new CT-6A transmitter and receiver kit out to me for testing, it's another great product from your company! I am impressed with it's functionality and features for the low price! Keep up the great workmanship and good value on your product line and I look forward to see what you have in the near future 👍 Have a good day @HOTRC
Hi Christian, this buggy is made by Bonzai RC as well as a company called Zroad. not sure if it really had a name but they advertise it as a 1/10 but really its more like a 1/12th scale size buggy
Is there any way of making the remote work with flat top style 18650 batteries since the positive on my 2 remotes are to recessed in to touch the battery positive.
Is the ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) you're using unidirectional or bidirectional? Our remote control is bidirectional, so it's best for you to use a bidirectional ESC.
@@SIDNEYGRUDSEA_RC I'd suggest maybe try rebind the receiver to the transmitter again, and obviously make sure you have new or charged up batteries in the transmitter as well. If the issue still arises it must be a faulty receiver then.
if you have issues with it binding, press the bind button first on the receiver then turn on the transmitter, also refer to the user manual it should mention it in there the binding procedure
@@PERTHWESTOZRC i tried 10 different servos, everything is brand new. I am a newbie in rc and dont really know alot, i have been having this problem for days. All of my equipment works i tested it. The servo only works when the esc is connected to the coding channel on reciever. The motor is ch2 and servo ch1, motor works completely fine no problems just the servo.

Looks like they’re both good transmitters. The aircraft looking one would probably be pretty good for 1 handed driving while recording
Yeah the Fighter Jet Control TX is a fun one to use, get used to the controls quick and easy as well. Cheers for watching Thad 🍻

What is the name of the green buggy

Hola. Se podria utilizar esta emisora con dos receptores? Tengo dos coches y me gustaria tener solo una emisora
Yes it can be used with many receivers
Sadly you didnt show endpoint adjustment on all channels. Official channel claim it has those, but none of the videos show it i believe
how to fail safe receiver ?please help power off, but motor stil running
Why my ht08A reciever cannot bind to his transmitter?? can you help me sir??
Hi I got that same remote. but i could not get it to pair with the receiver. If you can you please tell me? Thank You'
You should be able to find a bind button somewhere on the receiver, check what the user manual says. Thanks for watching
Are you connecting the servo to ch1 and esc to ch2 of the receiver? So how do you supply power to the receiver?
Yes servo ch1 esc ch2 just like any receiver. The receiver gets its power from the esc which is plugged into the battery of course
Cant bind. The receiver has its green and blue light simultaneously flashing. What does that mean?
Never came across that issue, maybe contact @hotrc youtube channel
Never had that issue, maybe best contact @HotRC youtube channel.
how you control end points
2 wire light controlable?
Is there any way of making the remote work with flat top style 18650 batteries since the positive on my 2 remotes are to recessed in to touch the battery positive.
Use small round magnet.
@@ksavage681 Thank you
Bisa di on off ga om lampu nya dari remote?
how do you adjust the steering trim ?
7:30
Anyone can tell why my receiver blinking blue n green?? It is because of low battery??
blue light is blinking in my esc and forward-reverse is not working. Plssss help mee.......:(
Might be an issue with your esc then, did you bind your receiver to it properly?
Is the ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) you're using unidirectional or bidirectional? Our remote control is bidirectional, so it's best for you to use a bidirectional ESC.
To turn on the receiver without the help of ESC on what channel?
Impossible, you need an esc to power the receiver
Does that mean it's not possible for the battery to go directly to the ESC?
Yes of course the battery powers the esc but you were talking about powering the receiver without an esc in your first comment.
Oke thank you sir...
Hi Dave, will this TX bind with the Dumbo X6FG receiver?
No, it's made by a different manufacturer
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Thank you for the reply, I am looking for a receiver with a gyro, it does not look like they have a receiver with a gyro.
can you use this on the tt02
@@MaddoxBauer yeah you can use this transmitter on any hobby grade rc
@@PERTHWESTOZRC thank you man
Does Hot RC have a website?
Not sure tbh, I think they just sell on aliexpress
I have a control like this, it worked well, now it loses power with the receiver, can you help me?
@@SIDNEYGRUDSEA_RC I'd suggest maybe try rebind the receiver to the transmitter again, and obviously make sure you have new or charged up batteries in the transmitter as well. If the issue still arises it must be a faulty receiver then.

No
I’m not getting connected, how do I connect the receiver n transmitter??
if you have issues with it binding, press the bind button first on the receiver then turn on the transmitter, also refer to the user manual it should mention it in there the binding procedure
Distance ???
I mention it at the start of the video
the servo doesn't work
What's that got to do with this transmitter? The servo is on your rc car, if it doesn't work, replace it
