    • @DoRC
      @DoRC  Год назад +3

      I have an MT-12 coming but I actually got it with the Express LRS module. To me that's the real big news. Express LRS has been used by quad piles for quite some time LRS has been used by quad pilots for quite some time now and it's amazing. No more external antennas and basically unlimited range and very little latency.

    • @Macgyver46
      @Macgyver46 Год назад +1

      @DoRC I would probably add on that module so it has both. I have only 5 rigs but all have different receivers and the mini-z is a hard one to work with.

    • @DoRC

      Yeah the four in one module definitely is cool and adding it on would make the ultimate transmitter. Personally I'm used to swapping out my receivers so I don't really mind that and express LRS is amazing.
      My big disappointment with the MT-12 and the reason why I probably won't end up switching to it permanently is they don't seem to have any sort of provision for a camera mount which is requirement for me.

Whether or not it's better than a spectrum transmitter really depends on which transmitter you're referring to. It's going to be better than the RTR transmitters cuz it has a ton of adjustments and again the screen but some of the more advanced spectrum transmitters are pretty good as well.

    Just a heads up, HotRC sell this transmitter \ receiver combo, and I'd suggest staying away from that version. Mine lasted 75 days and now it has started to
    1) mix the throttle forward channel with the turn left channel.
    2) from the moment i turn it on, it just holds throttle reverse at about 1200 units. You can see the phantom inputs on the screen.
    HotRC appears to have no online presence, so forget a warranty.
    I'm going with a DumboRC next time.
    I tried factory reset, that put the language into chinese, but worse: the problem crept back almost immediately.
    I'm not saying this is a bad product, but I'm saying buy the Rlaarlo version, because maybe then you can get warranty support.
    It's definitely a Tx problem, because even if i don't turn on the Rx, the Tx gets phantom inputs.
    Bummer.

And the controller will bind to it? Or do you need to buy individual recievers for each rig you want to bind?
