When my lot were younger and at school/college I gave them a cupboard in the kitchen (they shared it) called the homework cupboard - so school books etc were stuffed in there. In the morning 3 kids scrambling for their books for the day in one cupboard in the kitchen was……..hell. Lol. X.
I watched your getting ready for school and took on the folder idea for secondary school as I had a daugther starting year 7. Within two weeks, the tutor asked for all students to separate their work with folders, and my child was praised for already being so organised and the only one in her class. Thank you so much. This has helped me so much to help her
Some book recommendations for Will- The Darren Shan Cirque Du Freak Series, and then the spin off Demonata and Larten Crepey Series. Has he read the 13 Storey Tree House series?
My face gets really dry too have some eczema so I slather on the lotion and sometimes need to use a prescription if it really flairs up! I could tell it was not you were looking quite glistening! I’m hoping we’re done with the hot weather and will get Fall weather been cooler in the mornings! I’m ready for sweater weather!
There’s a series called the Ranger’s Apprentice that I remember really enjoying when I was around Will’s age. Also the Inheritance Cycle and there are other series by the same author of Percy Jackson that are really good (it’s about Egyptian mythology as opposed to Greek).
Will definitely be adopting this when my daughter moves to high school next year 😢....literally just applied for her place. My daughter read Wolf Brother when we were in latter stages of lockdown as class text. It's a good book. An author that has stuck with me since I was 11 is David Eddings... fantasy fiction with sorcerors and quests. Just started reading with my daughter
Rick Riorden has a LOT of series now, Heroes of Olympus (Roman Mythology) Kane Chronicles (Egyptian) Magnus Chase (Norse) and Trials of Apollo are ones that spring to mind off the top of my head. He also works with younger authors around the world to publish books about other mythologies like Korean, varying African, Native American etc mythologies. Michael Scott's "The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flammel" (better known just as "The Alchemyst") is also an excellant fantasy/ mythology series involving a lot of different dieties from multiple pantheons and varying historical figures. He'll likely recall Flammel from Harry Potter or the Fantastic Beasts films and he was a real historical figure with a lot of mystery surrounding him. I also liked Anna James' "Pages and Co" series that's about a girl who can "bookwander" into books involving all sorts of characters. I'd also recomend Eion (Pronounced "Owen") Colfer's "Artemis Fowl" series and its sequal "The Fowl Twins" (maybe don't mention there a sequal series until he's on the last Artemis Fowl book because its a bit of a spoiler) that's about a 12yr old genius criminal mastermind who decides to kidnap a (remarkably technologically advanced) fairy to restore his family's fortunes.
Hi rhi love your channel's and all your vlogs we are going to Orlando floredia next year in September and my husband has suggested that we vlog our trip from the hotel that we are staying in and the Disney parks as we will be going to them all even tho we are staying off site just wanted some advice on where I start with a channel as I'm thinking if we get enough views I might carry it on and do it for a job like you do xx
Hi Rhi, I am a subscriber and watched your videos for a while now - love the Vlogs thanks. Not connected to this video but could you direct me to the video you talk about your GoPro camera (not sure it is a GoPro but the one you used in the rain in Alton Towers). I am interested in purchasing one and remembered you talked about how good it was. Any further info would be great, I have looked on your website and think it’s the right one under your Amazon store. Thanks for the great videos as always x
I unbox the GoPro and talk about it here - ruclips.net/video/euAnEAYVZwE/видео.html I wouldn't bother with the full creator bundle again, I'd just buy this - amzn.to/3EJZL5U
I really wish I could experience weather in Wales and the rest of the UK. When I convert the temperatures, they are rather mild for a US summer in a state in the south. I'm intrigued because I wonder sometimes if there's something about the physical location of all of the UK on the planet that makes it feel hotter for you. I wouldn't normally think so because you're at a relatively high longitude and latitude like Europe. We're just now getting DOWN to the 20s and 30s C in Texas from over a month of well over 40C every day and so 24.4C today feels cold by comparison. I love how open your kids are to trying things and learning everything put in front of them, especially because, outside the US, more people want to learn just to learn, it seems, and it's not done with the sole express purpose of growing up to make obscene amounts of money by screwing people over. Oh, there are deodorants in the US that don't mark black or dark clothing, but they might be illegal in the UK due to the ingredients. It's a shame, really. Much love! :)

I recommend the Maze Runner books, my 12 year old is enjoying the first one, he’s chosen it as his book for English.
Great idea, thank you x

Will may like the book series called Skullduggery Pleasant. My 10 year old enjoys it, although it is a young adult book.
Oooh, great suggestion, thank you x
For Will’s reading, try the Septimus Heap series of books. They are great x
Haven't heard of those, thanks lovely x
