Your book hauls the best! 📚 If you’re keen to film this sort of thing, I would love to see a video of you speaking multiple languages and/or a ramble about being multilingual and how you’ve been studying.
Been taking a bit of a break from asmr (no particular reason, just a little busy atm) and decided to click on this one before one of the few early nights I've had in a while. It made me realise how much I miss your style of asmr, your videos, and some of my favourite types of asmr - book hauls/recommendations, for example. This was such a great video to watch, not only to relax but also to learn about some stuff I wouldn't usually be too interested in myself (I wasn't very good at learning languages in school and only know english). Thanks mauve, hope you're doing well. Have a great week 😊💕
Ohhh bookish videos, my fav!!! I was also wondering if it’s still up the last books in translation video?? The other day I was looking for it and couldn’t find it. Also, Mariana Enríquez is AMAZING I’ve only read “Nuestra parte de la noche” but damn can she write! I really look forward to read something else from her.
I just started to read books in Spanish and Portuguese and it’s so amazing. I can’t wait to buy more foreign books to help me learn the languages better :)
sorry if i missed this, but do you have any suggestions for language acquisition? :,) i have studied mostly dead languages (latin, greek, sumerian) and a little italian and french ages ago (but i am also a terrible speaker lol) - i feel like immersion is the best way to study but sort of hard now re access to resources and covid ofc. i bought some of my fav books translated into italian, which has actually been super illuminating, but i was wondering if you have any tips!!

Love those videos! I'm french and I bought "temporada de huracanes" by Melchor after you mentioned it in an old video to work on my spanish. :)

Me, re-reading LotR in English: 😌
The French and Irish books on my shelf: 👋🤯😤😭
I even own An Hobad which is The Hobbit as Gaeilge (in Irish) but I just don't seem to have had the brainpower to commit to it yet
