SO TASTY Spicy Spam Fried Rice Guaranteed To See The Plate Goes Clean Fast! | Aunty Mary Cooks. Spam makes a very tasty fried rice. It’s simple and easy to have a comforting meal if you have a can of Spam. This fried rice using spam, eggs and vegetables makes a very comforting and satisfying meal. Aunty Mary shows how to cook this easy recipe of spicy spam fried rice at home for family for even dinner parties with friends. The plate will guarantee to go clean fast!
Ingredients
300g frozen mixed vegetables, defrost
2 bowls of rice, about 450g
2/3 tin of SPAM, about 220g
3 eggs
1/2 bulb garlic, peel and chop
Oil for frying
Seasoning
2 Tbsp soya sauce
2 tsp chilli oil (optional)
Note:
1. The recipe can serve 3-4 people or more if there are other dishes served.
2. Adding the chilli oil adds a kick to it to those who enjoys spicy food. Can serve the chilli oil at the side if people prefers to add themselves.
3. It’s important that the rice is not too soft. Using rice cooker is the easiest. I cooked 2 rice cups of rice. Used 2 rice bowls of the cooked rice.
4. Using freshly cooked rice is very easy as it’s already loose and less time in cooking.
5. I used Thai jasmine rice, my favourite rice.
