He sang the National Anthem at a Marlins game and recently posted it onto his MySpace and he actually sounds really good. He even smiles and looks relieved lol. He'll get to his old voice some therapy/lessons if he wants to. I still love Creed and always will. They were a part of my teen years and young adult life and their concert are fuckin' awesome!!!
the clothes, the stage presence, the headbanging - everything about this video is gloriously hilarious, laughed my guts out. Shame, c'oz the actual song is really good
yes Mark Tremonti was great, and I'd love for the Creed reunion to happen. That would be awesome. All I was saying is that Scott could form a group with those guys and how great that would be. I love Collective Soul. Creed too! So take the two, the ex drummer of CS, and ex guitarist, and let them team up with Mr. Stapp. They would just need a bassist, and I would buy that cd quicker than a kid at a candy store.
Creed Rocks! If you like Marks performance on the guitar, you should watch some of Atler bridge's live performances from Amsterdam in 2009. Blackbird is a really good song. I especially like the awesome solo near the end. if you like the live performances, you should also listen to the recorded versions. Creed and Alter Bridge are 2 of my most favorite bands, and Mark is the best guitarist EVER :)
What would really be great, I've always liked Creed, no matter the crap people say about them. Anyway, if Scott Stapp teamed up with Ross Childress to form a band. Kick ass vocals, with a kick ass guitarist. I would love for that to happen.
Wish they still played the songs live with the same tempo that they do on the albums. Their performances now are so rushed throughout each and every song. Still love these guys though. This brings back memories of way better performances.
to rswhyville yes it is really creed in fact all four original members including brian marshall have reunited for a summer tour and a new album called full circle
yeah i can tell you first hand after watching woodstock like 800 times, the technicians controlling the board during the live ppv broadcast had no real idea how to mix a concert lol. its like that in the beginning of limp bizkits set too during just like this where the guitar just suddenly drops in level. lmfao. still the best concert ever though lol
@reditreefrogs you're correct but i believe that is was before he was sponsored...he started using PRS full time when Human clay came out...i saw him last October and all he used was PRS
i agree about fred durst.... scott stapp is cool.... My Own Prison is one of the greatest albums of the 90s... but i still think Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder tops them...hands down...
i love his stage presence with that shirt and LonG hair ~ does Not look gay to meee. wouldn't care anyways! ~ =D i saw them last September and it was AweSome!!!!
please dont generalize americans. we are not all like that. In fact creed and pearl jam are my two favorite bands. They are different in many, many ways.
his voice went downhill like crazy. i am huge creed fan and a sound-board guy @ my church. here's what happened: 1) he was at 1 time taking a type of steroids to enhance his voice. in the long run this actually hurt it. 2) the way he distorted his voice (like in Say I) strained it too much 3) he got old and 4) on his solo album he used less digital effects and processing to purify his voice: what u hear on the solo album is more natural
Scott Stapp didn't copy the vocals from Eddie Vedder. I heard Scott Stapp came from a very Christian family, and he use to singer in the church. He's always had a voice, I heard, and I also heard his family wasn't too happy about him doing this kind of music. They felt like he fell away from the Lord or something. Don't know how true it all is, but that's what I heard.
The people who like Pearl Jam are going to like Creed so stop comparing Eddie And Scott have different techniques of singing. Eddie is more of a free feel real airy. Scott is raspy with just a slap of rock n fn roll
is it just me or does tremonti's guitar sound the sickest on the human clay album? alter bridge is good but his guitar has never sounded better and thicker than on human clay.
One of the best bands ever. Creed does amazing things and has brought music to a level of it's own.
one of the bands that actually had talent @ woodstock 99 and deserved to be there......... these guys were rocking to their own beat back then
one of the BEST Creed songs without a doubt
This has always been one of their best live songs.
Everyone in the band is good! The singer, bassist, guitarist, drummer they are all talent.
He sang the National Anthem at a Marlins game and recently posted it onto his MySpace and he actually sounds really good. He even smiles and looks relieved lol. He'll get to his old voice some therapy/lessons if he wants to. I still love Creed and always will. They were a part of my teen years and young adult life and their concert are fuckin' awesome!!!
that's one the best songs for real listeners of rock and roll.
He's better than a rockstar, he's a Legend. Legends do what they want :D
For those that don't know, Ross Childress is the ex guitarist from Collective Soul, my favorite group ever! Still to date.
the clothes, the stage presence, the headbanging - everything about this video is gloriously hilarious, laughed my guts out. Shame, c'oz the actual song is really good
esto es musica ...para escuchar con los sentidos ...gran grupo ... gracias por tu aporte ala musica CREED........

The Lord has surely Blessed Scot with looks, one hell of a voice & musical genius
i agree, scotts voice was flawless at this time!
what a band and great voice.
Agreed.. Just listening to Myles compared to the most recent Creed, there's just no comparison. But still, the classics are the greatest!
This is incredible .
all the instruments and vocals sound amazing. so in rythym and flow well. crowd wuz going crazy. and for being live, not in studio? it sounds awesome.
this.... voice....... is so fucking amazing... hopefully in 2012.. we'll get a taste of it again.. hopefully
love this song...
Melhor banda do mundo!

At the Beacon show in NYC in 2012 Scott said on stage that Mark had written this song... has a Tremonti vibe to it...

you're right, I totally agree..His voice deteriorated beginning 2002, after his accident, and due to constant touring.

Scott stapp must look back and realize what he could've been this video fckn rocks
yeah i can tell you first hand after watching woodstock like 800 times, the technicians controlling the board during the live ppv broadcast had no real idea how to mix a concert lol. its like that in the beginning of limp bizkits set too during just like this where the guitar just suddenly drops in level. lmfao. still the best concert ever though lol

@reditreefrogs you're correct but i believe that is was before he was sponsored...he started using PRS full time when Human clay came out...i saw him last October and all he used was PRS
Mark Tremonti is just so cool
In my opinion the best album was all 3 of them.
i agree about fred durst.... scott stapp is cool.... My Own Prison is one of the greatest albums of the 90s... but i still think Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder tops them...hands down...

Torn (acoustic) by RangeofMotion is a good video as well.

please dont generalize americans. we are not all like that. In fact creed and pearl jam are my two favorite bands. They are different in many, many ways.
@jessep1980 Wtf? Bass is awesome. Especially in the hands of Brian Marshall, the best bassist ever.
his voice went downhill like crazy. i am huge creed fan and a sound-board guy @ my church. here's what happened: 1) he was at 1 time taking a type of steroids to enhance his voice. in the long run this actually hurt it. 2) the way he distorted his voice (like in Say I) strained it too much 3) he got old and 4) on his solo album he used less digital effects and processing to purify his voice: what u hear on the solo album is more natural
It was the first song of the set
@morpheuzzz1 you are so right buddy
@morpheuzzz1 well said.
@morpheuzzz1 I agree.
and scotts voice was pretty good back then(1999) , than now (2009)! whats up with his voice now ?
QFT
Quoted for Truth
Haha nice shirt Mark ! :p
fucking wicked song
@98angleface When Scott cut his hair, he said that he was leaving behind the rock star with all his toxicoman problems.
@morpheuzzz1 FUCK, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU DUDE!!!!!!! HONOR TO THE BAND, STOP COMPARING... ROCK IS ROCK!!!!!
Hate comparing but all i can think about is Vedder, clearly a influenced they way he holds the mic and all, even im influenced by Vedder
@keithan55 HAHAHA. I saw that too. 4:24 he gets hammed by the guy behind him. Funny as. That would have hurt though. I wonder what he did
Cheezy.
@obsessionkakilo He had throat surgery in like 08-09 I believe that's why
4:23 That guy crowd surfing get's slapped in the head lol
Scott sounded so much better back then, he sounded like shit around when Full Circle came out.
I guess that was the first song of the set...=P
@kenzy666, he's mark tremonti, he can wear whatever the hell he wants lol
I listen to this song when i'm pissed off
let's compare the Woodstock Torn to the House Of Blues Torn
i say alter bridge's turn at wood stock :)
hahaha,Mark's shirt is so funny...
is it just me or does tremonti's guitar sound the sickest on the human clay album? alter bridge is good but his guitar has never sounded better and thicker than on human clay.
This song was written solely by Tremonti.
@crimsonsoldier09 what the hell does his shirt and hair have to do with having feelings for another man?
weird seeing mark without a PRS!!
what is up with marks jacket?
Mark Tremonti's shirt! Lol!
this stapp blew away eddie fuckin munson vedder
have ever read about why they left creed
that's what i meant in 2) and 3)
