Half-Life - The Anomalous Assassin

When the United States government fell to the Combine invasion, so too did the Black Operations. Its membership, trained to be the very best at containing threats, were now at the mercy of the Combine's own containment policies. Yet for all of the Combine's success over 20 years... one anomaly remained. See below for more details \/ \/
After playing the first Half-Life game, for the first time on its 25th anniversary, I became curious about Garry's Mod. It was this fabled sandbox game that could also function as a way of doing 3D animations, so I figured I'd play around with it to see what it was capable off producing...
... And play around with it I did, over 3 months, dedicating my first 100 hours of Garry's Mod to this animated short. Yet again, another case of things snowballing like crazy, motivated in part by the fear that Steam was going to stop functioning altogether on Windows 8.1 after 2023 (which funnily enough, did not come to pass).
In any case, for my first attempt at animating in Garry's Mod, which really was my first serious attempt at 3D animating (with only some experience in flash animating), I think this turned out alright. It was super intuitive to pick up on how the mods worked. I'd say for anyone who's mod savvy with a basic grasp on animation fundamentals, Garry's Mod is a good place to start. :)
But yeah... first video in over a year... I've been busy...
And hopefully things will only get busier for the things I have planned next. ;)
